Ho appena finito questo libro perché c’erano molte cose ( come le cose per l’università ed il caos della vita 🤨). Il finale è stato molto deludente e non c’erano i “plotwists” attraverso il libro 😡
L’idea iniziale era buona ma la continuazione …. 😶🌫️
Mi è piaciuta solo l’aspetta grammatica e tutte le nuove parole.
Interesting story but the ending was a let down - obvious from Chapter 7 - and so cold blooded. I did appreciate the vocabulary at the end of each chapter and found several more words and phrases to add to my vocabulary which were not highlighted. Several typos especially in the last 2 chapters. I appreciated that the book was written in present tense for the conversations and the past tense in passato prossimo rather than passato remoto as most literature is written. We had fun with the book as our leader gave us assignments to use the vocabulary provided in the text (not necessarily the highlighted vocabulary) and we took turns making our own riassunto of each chapter.
I stumbled upon this book after reading “Il Mistero della Casa in Sicilia” and figured it was worth a read. It was great for learning new vocabulary, but the plot itself left a lot to be desired. To me, the ending was obvious after finishing half of the book.
Definitely a Talented Mr. Ripley or Rafael, since the nooknis written in Italian and takes place in Milan/Como. Interesting, but dark story and definitely at an intermediate level.
