Vanessa has escaped the den of the Red Vipers. She has no family that she cares to remember, but the Ruthless Sons MC has welcomed her with open arms. They've offered her a safe haven and under the guidance of president, Xavier, she is to be protected. Xavier quickly realizes that Vanessa is something special but knows he shouldn't cross the line with her. Despite his attempts to keep her at arms length she begins to fall for her protector and the line begins to blur.
*Please note, Falling for Her Protector was previously published in serial format through Kindle Vella. There have been a few slight edits made, but the basic story is the same. Hopefully this helps avoid any confusion. As always, thank you for reading and I hope you enjoy the story!
Self-published author of the Attraction Series. I have always loved reading, especially fantasy and romance stories with the occasional thriller thrown in the mix. In 2020, I was introduced to the Wattpad platform and discovered a new passion for writing.
I was born and raised in New England, where I still reside with my husband and our two daughters.
X (president of MC) finds Vanessa running for her life. She had been sexual abused and held captive by the Vipres MC members. X and Vanessa have a similar background. I enjoyed reading this author’s novels.
Vanessa is a girl who had a pretty good life with her father, until she came home after her first year of college. After being held captive by some demented and cruel bikers, that last thing she expected was to be rescued by yet more bikers. She is a strong female character. She started out scared, understably so, but she pushed through and refused to let her captors hold swa over the rest of her life.
Her savior, or rather the guy who happen to own the house she ran to, is the president of a MC. Xavier, or X, sees a mousy girl at first but quickly sees the beautiful woman buried beneath the dirt, grim and trauma. He tries to resist her, to keep his distance, to protecto her from himself, but he falls hard and fast. X shows her what it's like to truly be safe with someone.
The two have fantastic chemistry and I really enjoyed their journey. The ending was the best part. I love stories that give a glimpse into the future of the characters.
I'm on a novella kick and this one was good. The story didn't feel overly rushed even though it was faster paced with being a novella. Xavier had a few moments of being a doo doo head but he always knew right away that he messed up and would own up to it/apologize and work towards being better. I believed their HEA and overall enjoyed their story.
