Wow! What a wholesome novella. A perfect blend of sweet and spicy. Aria and Desmond are truly the gold standard couple. They had me swooning with their consistent thoughtfulness, care and love they showed each other.
My only complain here, I wish it was longer 😔
PS: every woman deserves a Desmond in their life, don’t let nobody fool you 💕🤗

3.5 ⭐️ Ring in the New Year with all the luck you can get!
This was a nice book to read on December 31st, getting to know all the different customs and routines that bring luck and good wishes for the New Year all around the world. I found the romance aspect a bit underwhelming, and the “twist” was kind of obvious… but overall, I loved the energy and the warmth of the story!

Sweet and Spicy
I had to squeeze in one last New Year themed read before I moved on and this one didn't disappoint. Desmond and Aria were crazy in love and spicy in the bedroom!! They were also funny together trying out New Year traditions from around the world. Desmond went along with it, with a lot of banter along the way. They were so sweet to each other and thoughtful and I loved it. The New Year theme was prevalent and there was the perfect amount of sweet and spice between them.

Where is my Scottish Tradition?!
A story on a bf/gf already happy? Sign me up! This short read was cute, swoon worthy, and had some sex scene that were steamy! Desmond and Amara were a fairytale of what a healthy relationship can look like, and I also want that for me in 2023! I can’t do all these New Year’s traditions that they did in this book, but I need that Scottish tradition starting off my 2024! 😆 if you need short sweet, spicy, and feel good this book is for you!

I think this one might be my favorite Zola Patterson piece. It had romance, it had culture and it had laughs. I love that the couple wasn't just a hook-up. They actually were so in love.

Aria & Desmond we’re connected and hot and heavy from the very beginning of the story…in fact, they were so hot with it, the neighbors complained…but, the couple took it in stride….there’s big New Year’s Eve plans for this couple at an annual Masquerade Ball.

Whew! Bring the Noise! 😂 What a fun and spicy read! 😍 I loved all the interesting things that Aria found for them to do, to ring in the New Year! Desmond was hilarious, with his witty comebacks! First Desmond and Aria are perfect for each other. They are so in tune with one another, totally living to meet the other person's needs. There is no selfishness in their relationship and that's more valuable than gold.
I really loved learning about the various New Year traditions that are observed around the world, and how Aria incorporated them into their holiday plans. Nevertheless, Desmond's surprise conveyed to Aria he's got some traditions of his own!

This is a short/spicy novella about Aria and Desmond, who are madly in love with one another. It’s December 31st, and they both have plans to bring in the new year together.
Aria did some research and compiled a list of things people do in different countries to bring in good fortune, health and prosperity into the new year. She wanted them to complete this list in a few hours. Although I found it interesting to learn of these new things it just felt so rushed, forced and drawn out. I was over it.
He surprises her with tickets to some place she’s super excited to go to. I loved that he’s so aware of her feelings/expressions.
I think it was the repetitiveness with the words, along with the basic writing style that just wasn’t cutting it for me.
If I read “I got you” one more time I was going to throw my Kindle.

I absolutely love every installment of this series. We usually get more of a spontaneous connection, so I was surprised to get an established couple. Of course, Danielle made that work like only she can. This book was oozing with healthy, mature, authentic, delicious Black Love. The way Desmond anticipated Aria’s needs and did anything to fulfill them was so attractive. His adoration was so refreshing. Their witty banter and genuine friendship was so dope. And we already know their intimacy was piping hot. Their big news felt like a personal win. I was so excited to see where the new year was taking them. I must add that I love a well researched theme. Danielle was on it with the educational tidbits about global New Year’s traditions.

This was a fun, quick, easy read. I like that there's a whole series of holiday focused books, but the prologue had me thinking that the "Hot Holiday Hookup" series that the interviewer was writing was going to be a little less cute story and more adventurous and spicy. This book was definitely spicy don't get me wrong, but the article being written made me believe that their night out was going to be a little crazier. With that said I loved the traditions that they went through and had fun with, and I loved the two main characters' relationship and obvious love for each other, as well as reading about the masquerade.

It was refreshing to witness Desmond and Aria’s commitment to one another. As are all the other hot holiday hookups… The Noisemaker didn’t hold back on the 🔥🔥🔥🔥.
I loved how no matter how outlandish the traditions… Desmond was with Aria 100%. They were so cute, and Desmond’s last line had to be my favorite 😏🔥

All I could say is that Desmond and Aria's relationship are couple goals! I loved that this book showed an established relationship and their shenanigans while celebrating the new year. We also get to see different new year traditions from different cultures and I appreciate the research the author did to incorporate traditions from different parts of the world. Very sweet and short. I just wished it was longer because I can see a full-length novel potential for Desmond and Aria's relationship. Nonetheless, it is good for what it is. If you like to read very short romances where you can finish in just one sitting, I highly recommend this book.

I could have read for hours and days about this cute couple. The author created a world that was simply heart warming and sinfully sexy. Desmond is the man that dreams are made of. The love and support he has for Aria is only found in story books. This was so good. Do yourself a favor and read this novella, you won’t be disappointed.

Aria and Desmond, what can I say about their story besides for it being hot and I absolutely loved it!!
We spent new year eve with them as they prepare for the new year by doing traditions from other cultures/countries that represent good thing for the next year, all of this was so well written that it felt like you were doing the traditions with them. But the surprise he had for her at midnight will make you believe in happily ever after with a twist of erotic !
So if you love a good erotic romance then you’ll love this book!!

I am always a fan of the hot holiday hookups but what I enjoyed the most about this read was the fact the author did a thorough research on how various cultures celebrate the new year. Not only was the research evident but also the wordsmith in how the story was able to incorporate it. I absolutely love Desmond and Aria. Now I understand the title "noisemaker" because whew their chemistry was off the charts. Well done!
