Didn't like it as much as I wanted to :/

So, overall, I've enjoyed this series. The storylines have been interesting. The men, super hot. The violence toward the heroines, slightly gratuitous, but again, I liked the series and definitely wanted to get Jacobs story and see where it went. That being said, I really felt like this one was rushed - especially the ending - and ended rather abruptly. Still glad I read it as the ending to the series, but was just hoping for a bit "more".

Helka Island is a private island that unites four of the most powerful organized crime families to create an unstoppable force. It's a playground for the rich and famous, but it's also a killing field or torture chamber; whatever the horsemen need to carry out their singular mission. Rosalyn Abbott applied for a job as a dancer to carry out her own mission which is to kill Jacob. Jacob is fighting his demons and has no intention of falling in love, but as he watches Rosalyn, he can't deny that he wants her. Rosalyn is jaded by the horrible treatment of an ex, and she refuses to believe that she is capable of love. Neither is prepared for the betrayal, killing, passion and heartbreak that is yet to come. This is a wonderful story and trip back to Helka Island.

Brilliant

Oh wow....what a fantastic storyline.
Loved Jacob and his moodiness. Loved how Rosalyn/Ave brought the humanity out in him. She didn't deserve what Andrei did to her and I felt sorry that Jacob found her in that state after Andrei had his fun with her.
So happy that she confessed her love for Jacob and that he reciprocated.
Can't wait to read the next episode in this amazing series.

I am so glad I read all about the horsemen. They are sexy independent and scary! So intense. Very creative on the part of the author. Just wanted to know what was next. So how about updating all of them I want to know more

I hated his mother and her boy toy in the prequel, and now I hate them more in this one. I see the book was written in 2022, so I don't think there will be anymore, so I'm going to imagine Jacob kills Andrei and his mother and appointing someone the leader of the bratva, and Ave can kill Cara. XD

Betrayal...

Rosalyn hired hit women the job kill one of the four horseman named Jacob. Rosalyn also knew this job could also end her life and be her last job. She did expect to fall for the target. Jacob also finding himself looking to spend more time with her as well. But SURPRISE visit from the head of Bratva also Jacob Mother with her side kick visit the island.
Rosalyn secret is about to be told to Jacob and there will be a fight between him and his Mother. Good story must read

Rosalyn applied for a job as a dancer on Helka Island he watches her dance and realises straight away she is no danger. She is an assassin and has been sent to kill Jacob. Instead she falls in love with him. There are twists and turns along the way but this is a good last book. I cannot wait for the next to to find out what happens to the four. I received an ARC for an honest review which I have given
