Interesting story!

I give this one a 3.5 rating. It wasn’t my usual cup of tea but I did find it kept my interest until I had finished it.
So we have the supernatural community living underground in the Below, living their lives as the humans above do…living in their homes, working a 9-5 job, all the while waiting for their chance to be given the gift of moving Above. All except for Phillipe. Well over 1000 years old when we meet him, he has never been allowed the opportunity to make the move. When finally learning how his parents died after his birth, all he wants is to make it out of the Below and seek revenge on the one who helped kill his father.
This is his story. With quite the surprise at the end!

Interesting story! I can see it as a TV show. Loved picturing a hidden world beneath the surface. Intriguing idea. Well written.
