Driving Jesus: A Testament of Miracles, Mystery, and Attempted Assassination

Rate this book
A cross between Don Quixote and a lost gospel, D riving Jesus tells the tale of Paul, a cantankerous, confused, and furious septuagenarian, who sets out on a poorly planned quest to eliminate a president--the only way he imagines he can save the Republic.

Never mind that this Paul, who shares the fanaticism (if not the skills) of his biblical namesake, has no clue how to use a weapon, or how to accomplish an assassination, or whether his old Lincoln Town Car will get him across the county.

Interrupted by a series of fateful interventions and detours, he and his deific young passenger drive from one strange and vaguely familiar encounter after another leading to a reunion at the end of the road.
