Kip and Simus, on their own adventure, learn Darsalgon’s backstory, and Kip discovers that he has a powerful ability which he must learn to harness. Nolan has surprises of his own as his bonding ceremony proves to be an event to remember, and he has clandestine meetings with a mysterious source. Meanwhile, Jade is put to the test as she comes head-to-head with the Shadow’s best fighter in the Tournament of Champions. In this third book of the series, Darsalgon’s power grows, and the battle between good and evil intensifies. Can Jade and her friends outsmart Darsalgon, or has he been a step ahead of them the entire time?

even better than the first two.

I really enjoyed this one! It was such a happy diversion to the recent current events. It has non-stop action and I really can’t wait to see what happens to Kip, Jade and Nolan. I hope there is a happy ending for each of them…. Hint hint….. in case the last book isn’t written yet.
