The full story of the larger then life man behind that great handle-bar mo, idol of Bay 13 and Werribe's favourite son, Merv Hughes. From early in his career winning an Esso cricket scholarship, the having the dream of playing two consecutive Test Matches without being dropped, capturing one of the strangest Hat-Tricks in Test Cricket history (and not even realising it) though to being dropped and playing a season for the Canberra Comets. This is a great read for all cricket lovers.
