Book 2 was as good as the first.
Caleb and his crew are growing into their Pirate life. The story progressed at a roring pace.
The development of Caleb's Back story is interesting. A lot of things are explained.
I listened to the audio book and both the norrators do a very good job.

I struggled to rate this one. I REALLY like the story idea. However, I struggle with some of the details and also the listing of skills each time he looks up a spell or something. I understand the second one though because I have played RPG games so at least that makes sense. I think I'm mostly disappointed that I can't' share this with my kids until they are older. I would have liked to rate it 4 stars.

Really enjoyed this book.
I would totally recommend this book. It was just as exciting as the first novel. I am already waiting for the next book to come out.

A very good level up series with a nautical player !
I have just finished this book and a single reading! As I read the book before. I look forward to reading the 3rd and I'm going to do that thing as soon as I finish this review periodically terms are excellent and well used and of course the level is always the fun part. Read it and you'll enjoy it!

Picked it up before I remembered how much I did not like the first one.
Quit before I got a third of the way in. The good versus evil shtick is very, very heavy handed. The quests and the general system are just overdone. This whole thing just needs a lighter hand on the tiller.
