John Ventura was an attorney specializing in consumer law. His many bestselling books include Divorce for Dummies, The Credit Repair Kit, The Bankruptcy Kit, and The Will Kit.
I had to quit reading this book after fifteen pages. It was making me sick. The bottom line is that divorce is going to cost you a lot of money, which I'm not ready to give up. There's also a lot of talk about children in this thing. I have no children so there was a lot of page skipping. There's no chapter in here discussing women's hormonal dementia. No, I'm not bitter.
Not a fun read, and quite possibly covers more topics than you will need, but at least you can start sorting through the scope of the problem. Well-written, calm, and not particularly biased.
If you're reading this book, you have my sympathies.
