SAVAGE
Noah Keegan lives life just as he pleases: as a scuba-dive enthusiast with a love of the finest things in life and beautiful women, as well as an art of closing deals. He’s CEO of Keegan Enterprises and has it all—looks, an Upper East Side entitlement, and savage charisma. Unfortunately, he suffers one quirk: he’s a bit of a chauvinist. With the 20th anniversary of his mother’s death approaching, Noah wants to create a perfume in her honor. Ryan Hagen is perfect. But she sets Noah’s blood to boiling in more ways than one.

SUIT
When Ryan meets Noah, she realizes every sordid, narrow-minded allegation against the infuriatingly misguided chauvinist is true! She has a lot riding on the success of this project, so there’s no way in hell she’s allowing Noah Keegan and his antiquated ideas to deter her dreams. They're stuck with each other if they want to achieve their individual goals. If only he wasn’t too sexy for his own damn good and her peace of mind, her plans would be so easy.

I am slowly but surely learning to manage my time more effectively and getting back to writing and connecting with everyone. I'm not completely there yet, but it is slowly coming together. Misled and Misappropriate have been updated with additional chapters and POVs from a couple more characters. Both books have about 30,000 more words and new covers. I have new covers for all the books in the series. Recently Misled placed first in the Mystery, Suspense, and Thriller category on Chick Lit Cafe. The paperback will also be included in an upcoming Reveal Book Box. While working on Reckless, I am also updating the text in the original series. About Reckless - It will be filled with death and destruction, as usual. However, I will admit to being slightly shocked myself at some of the turn of events taking place. I have restarted my newsletter with a new name, KatChats. Until the end of the year, I plan to send it out weekly because of all the news I have to share. After that, I will switch to monthly. I also have a new website. It should be online in a couple of days once the domain transfer completes. I also have a website dedicated to the Death Dwellers. It is still in its early stages, but it is live: https://deathdwellersmc.com.
Meanwhile, if you have any questions, please send them my way.

Kathryn C. Kelly is a New Orleans native who has called southeast Texas home since 2005. She had intended to travel the world but always return to her beloved New Orleans. Hurricane Katrina had other plans. She is the mother of three beautiful daughters and the daughter of one gorgeous mother whose footsteps she followed in by becoming a writer.
Kathryn is the former owner and editor of Inside Rose Rich Magazine. She and her mother have been published by Jove Books as Christine Holden. The books have long been out of print but they got the rights back to the five novels and have plans to re-release them soon.
Kathryn is a cancer survivor. In 2010, she felt a small lump in her breast. In 2015, at the urging of her mother, she went in for her bi-yearly mammogram and was diagnosed with Stage 2b/3a HER2 positive breast cancer. On November 30, 2016, she rang the bell. During her treatment, she was also diagnosed with Li-Fraumeni Syndrome.
In 2013, Christopher "Outlaw" Caldwell introduced himself to Kat in the most cliché way ever. He came to her in a dream. After the inauspicious meeting, he planted himself in her mind and the motherf...the gentleman hasn't left yet. In what was only supposed to be one book about the fictitious Death Dwellers MC, Outlaw has become a source of amusement, a well of frustration, and a bone of contention between Kat and one of her daughters.
She is hard at work on Reckless, the book that will bridge the OGs with a new generation of Death Dwellers. Her work has been included in several anthologies and she is looking forward to other upcoming single title releases, including Savage Suit from the Cocky Hero Club World created by Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward. She is a former RWA member. She also served as Vice President for the SOLA chapter of RWA.
She is a New Orleans Saints fan, but roots for the Texans, the Rockets, and the Coogs (U of H) as long as they aren't playing any Louisiana teams. She loves champagne and sparkling wine. One day, she will try Snoop's brand. She still loves Chivas Regal but had a chance to taste Sassenach Scotch. A #lifegoal is to one day buy herself an entire bottle and keep it all for herself.
In her head, she is a biker babe with a Harley in her garage, waiting for her to hit the road. In reality, she has yet to hop on a bike and ride. She loves Cards Against Humanity, has very strong opinions that she keeps to herself, has to take her time to talk in public so nothing untoward pops out, and always strives to see the best in people and in life.

I appreciate someone who can write a story, and not all are the same, and a lot of them may not fit in real life situations. This is why we read. We want the bad boy or the billionaire or someone we may not have a shot with.

There was so much to read here. I loved that Ryan and Noah had a connection in the beginning, but it seemed a long shot because of the circumstances. I loved that Ryan wanted financial stability and wanted to work hard for what she had. I also loved that she had goals she wanted to achieve. The rest just seemed like a trainwreck waiting to happen. Noah's grief over his mother and her circumstances as far as how he treated women in his workplace and those he was involved with. Both Ryan and Noah's families left a lot to be desired. There were secrets and betrayals. It took me forever to read this, but I needed to know how it played out. I loved Noah's alpha-ness when it came to Ryan, but he wasn't much better himself. I was expecting alpha holes, but I think Graham was the tamest of them all. I loved that this had a HEA, but it went through a lot of chaos to get there.

Meh.

Didn’t like the hero. The truth came out way too late by which time I was bored and skimming to the end. Also wasn’t a fan of Reid or Quinn so it’s not like there were side characters that kept the book interesting 😔🤷🏻‍♀️

Ryan has to work with the most chauvinistic, old fashioned jerk, now, and she's not putting up with his crap. Too bad she's finding herself attracted to him and giving into that attraction. Is it possible for two people with family baggage coming out of their pores, and differing views, maka relationship work long term?

This story was a lot. A lot of baggage in the form of family issues, a lot of emotional damage in the form of Noah's chauvinistic, disgusting views, and a lot of chemistry. The chemistry is the only thing that saved the story for me because I didn't like Noah, his redemption took far too long, and in the end I didn't believe he had truly changed his views. I didn't like that Ryan took him back. And all the drama was wearing. But their chemistry is sizzling and save the story from fewer stars.

SAVAGE SUIT by Kathryn C Kelly is a stand alone, contemporary, adult, erotic, romance story line focusing on thirty-two year old, billionaire businessman Noah Keegan, and twenty-six year old advertising executive Ryan Hagen.

NOTE: SAVAGE SUIT was originally released as part of the multi-authored COCKY HERO CLUB series. Due to the nature of the story line premise, including strong language, there may be triggers for more sensitive readers.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Noah and Ryan) SAVAGE SUIT follows the building but acrimonious relationship between thirty-two year old, billionaire businessman Noah Keegan, and twenty-six year old advertising executive Ryan Hagen. Having lost her job in the advertising industry to corporate downsizing and struggling finances, Ryan Hagen was overjoyed with a chance to interview with Keegan Enterprises but from the outset nothing went according to plan, and the fall-out over the next few months were tantamount to professional suicide. As the head of the new perfume line in memory of Noah’s mother, Ryan finds herself facing off with more than the usual number of misogynist billionaires, including the man with whom she will fall in love but the competition and fight for control finds our heroine a pawn in the world of high finance and powerful yet childish men.

The world building is complex and detailed as the reader is pulled into a macrocosm of misogyny, betrayal and vengeance, greed and business competitors, extreme dysfunctional family behaviors and values. Infidelity is rampant, heartbreak , anxiety and sorrow override the prevailing story line, and in this, everything comes at a cost.

The relationship between Noah and Ryan is tempestuous at best; passionate and heated, inflamed and provocative. Noah is a man whose past controls his present, and in this, falling in love was never in the cards. The $ex scenes are erotic and intense.

The secondary and supporting characters are all questionable, untrustworthy, vengeful and histrionic. No one is likable: everyone is unpleasant, loathsome and vile-each with their own agenda, determined to ruin the lives of anyone standing in their way including both Noah and Ryan’s siblings and extended families.

SAVAGE SUIT is a story of secrets and lies, betrayal and vengeance, power and control, forgiveness and love. The premise is dark, dramatic and edgy; the romance struggles in the face of issues of trust; the characters are controversial yet dynamic.

Noah and Ryan give you fire and ice that produces a lot of steam😜! Noah was the quintessential alpha, billionaire, a-hole, entitled, privileged white man with the toxic rich family that you expect. It took time for Noah to grow on me as a reader because he is such an a-hole… until you unravel his story. Ryan was the hard working, intelligent, multilayered, sexy, black woman that worked hard to get to where she is, constantly trying to prove herself in a rich white, sexist world. The description of her given by her sister character was right on she “sees beauty in everyone and everything, to a fault” and her own detriment often. She is too kind, fair and forgiving in the ruthless world she lives in. She does have principles and morals that she is firm on and sticks to which I can appreciate, but were also rooted in a lot of trauma. You see the extreme, entrenched toxicity, disrespect, sabotage happening in both of the MCs family dynamics on that should render both of them to be done with certain family members… but they don’t/wont. That got to be very tiring and frustrating as a reader. Both MCs have also experienced some deep unhealed traumas from childhood that has shaped who they are and how they move in life that really requires intensified therapy for them to function with balance. The one night stand secret and some of the twists/side character stories that added drama was good, but also drug on forever-could have been shortened. I loved walking thru Noah and Ryan falling in love and figuring out how to navigate that with each other. I enjoy a long novel that gives us the back story, unfolding of the relationships and some good twists. And as long as the book was, we didn’t get to see the real downfall of some of the villains or consequences for their evil deeds- Megan, Nicholas, Armani, and Timothe. As a first time reader, I enjoyed the book and was hooked into the story from the start. There were some parts of the family stories and Ryan and Noah’s relationship that felt repetitive that could have been cut, made the story unnecessarily long. However, I would read it again😊

I received a free ARC copy and am voluntarily giving an honest review.

This book might be more like a 1.5 but I just can’t bring myself to give it two stars.

Probably the worst, most disappointing thing in this book was that there wasn’t a single, likable, character in it. Noah was overbearing asshole who seemed stunned as to why his siblings don’t like him. Ryan needed to grow a backbone, even though for some reason everyone kept saying how she was fiery and stood up to Noah? Except she didn’t. She capitulated to him constantly.

Nicholas was so awful it was almost comical, like he was almost a caricature of what a story villain should be. Same goes for Megan, Timothe, Armani, Claude, and even Dakota. Quinn was annoying and self centered and while Reid and Logan were probably the most likable, there was also zero depth and complexity to them.

This book also could have been about five hundred pages shorter. There was SO MUCH in here I didn’t need to know. They didn’t even start working together until 200 pages in. The timeline was all sorts of wonky. So many conversations were drawn out and unnecessary.

Not to mention those conversations often gave me whip lash. One minute everyone is fine, the next they’re cursing at each other and hating each other.

Once Ryan and Noah got together I did enjoy it a little more. They were cute as a couple and it was nice to see Noah becoming less of a tool. But that only lasted about 100 pages.

And the amount of times that man lied to her about stuff and she STILL took him back!

I came so close to DNFing this book so often and I kinda wish I had.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 65%.
My first thought was Wtf am I reading? The first few chapters it’s like the author is trying to sound extremely smart by using words I never even heard of before. Maybe I’m just that stupid. Haha. But I had hard time trying to figure out what era It was written in. Then I got to the first sex scene 🥴🥴🥴 It was so awkward and weird. And I’m not going to lie I skipped several pages after that.

Then I got to page 186 and it started picking up. But I was a little confused with all the characters and both Noah and Ryans siblings are terrible. Then it gets worse when I got to the press conference and I was back to what the heck is going on I can’t keep up with all these people 🤯 and I wasn’t even at the halfway mark. But for some reason I couldn’t stop reading. By page 400 I was ready for it to be over. I read to page 500 and finally decided I was done I couldn’t do it anymore. First book I’ve ever DNFed. It was honestly just annoying, long, confusing and repetitive.

DOES A MASK TRUELY HIDE WHO WE ARE

Noah and Ryan. She was having a crap day. It involved losing her job which on behalf of her sister involved a plus one, a mask, a ball gown and too much champagne and a rest in one of the bedrooms of the mansion. He was remembering what would have been his mothers 60th birthday with brothers that revealed in the debaucery of the masked ball. After a lot of champagne he wanted to relax in one of their mansions bedrooms. The same bedroom she picked to rest in. Their masked conversation was compelling and thrilling and sensual. They both feel lost and alone and underselling their achievements. But the mask lets them be someone they arent. And they will never see each other again. Until they do. Couldnt put this down. WOW OMG such a thrilling, entertaining, romance about two people that are true opposites with different beliefs that somehow become merged into one after such high tension.

I really enjoyed Savage Suit, and Noah and Ryan's journey. You will feel all the emotions with this book. Yes Noah is a jackass in some of the ways he thinks, especially where women and careers are concerned. He meets his match in Ryan who intrigues him because she won't put up with his crap and isn't afraid to tell him exactly what she thinks of him and his antiquated beliefs. Both Noah and Ryan have been through trauma that they are still living with years later, and they also both have dysfunctional families. I also really enjoyed seeing karma come a callin' to those that needed it!! Thankfully both Noah and Ryan have family members that are supportive, and want to see them happy. I would love a story for Quinn and Reid....just sayin' Lol I am so recommending this book, just be prepared...this is a big book, and I am certainly not complaining about that, I say the bigger the better!!

I received this book as part of my first Romance Reveal box. At 780 pages, it is a beast so I put it off a bit. I'm going to keep this brief because this book was not for me.

Noah is a bit of a sexist who doesn't believe in women working. He works with rather effed up family members and colleagues, who have somehow not been sued for harassment. Ryan Hagen is down on her luck and needs a job. Noah thinks Ryan might be a one night stand he had and hires her, because she's qualified of course. They work together, sparks fly and there's a lot of sex.

I found typos in this, which drives me nuts. In one sentence, there was a description of the bride looking like a Disney princess and "tits" in the same sentence. It's just not my jam. I felt like this was way too long and dramatic for me. Again, just my take.

Due to a tragedy in his past Noah has very firm beliefs when it comes to women and their careers. His need to honor his mother brings Ryan into his life and he is about to realize that he has met his match.

Ryan has worked hard to get where she is in his career, and she isn’t about to be derailed by her arrogant boss. She is determined to prove that she is his equal in every way, but the biggest challenge may be denying the chemistry and feelings she is developing for him.

Both Ryan and Noah bear the emotional scars of their past which causes some turmoil, and I enjoyed the evolution of Noah’s personality as he made peace with the past.

Savage Suit is a gritty romance that thrives on flawed characters and toxic family legacies. Noah is brutal but loyal, carrying the weight of his family even when they resent his methods. Ryan becomes his secret obsession, and their fiery push‑and‑pull was the highlight—she stood firm, and he respected her for it. What frustrated me was the overwhelming toxicity saturating both families; it drained me rather than moved me. Only near the end did Noah’s family begin to understand why he was the way he was, offering a glimpse of healing. While I liked the dynamic between Noah and Ryan, the dysfunction made the book feel heavy and exhausting.

This is a book worthy of so much praise and most definitely the 5 star rating. Such a wonderful in-depth journey into the lives of Noah and Ryan, whom I’ve loved reading and learning about ❤️❤️❤️ Their beginning is explosive their epilogue is eternity, the chapters in between were brilliantly written describing the challenges of secrets, deception, lies and outside forces playing out against them, such an intriguing storyline. A definite page turner and very entertaining. 100% recommend this book to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ you will not be disappointed 🤩🥰😉

Noah has antiquated beliefs, and he has met his match with Ryan. These two are both focused on their careers, both have suffered trauma, and both from dysfunctional families. This is a well written story which is emotionally charged, with family, friendships, angst, twists, drama, trauma, undeniable chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining and compelling page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Savage Suit was our featured read at the first London Sunday Bookclub (ladies only, sorry gents!) event of the year, and it delivered exactly what a great bookclub pick should: tension, debate, and undeniable chemistry. Noah Keegan is a character you don’t instantly love, but that’s precisely what made him fascinating to unpack in a room full of readers. Ryan Hagen’s confidence and refusal to shrink herself sparked so many thoughtful conversations. A bold, discussion-worthy romance.

Noah is indeed a Savage Suit, but he's met his match in Ryan. They both come from dysfunctional families and they're both career minded, determined and stubborn. Their story is filled with tumultuous angst and dawning hope, a little bitterness, tantalizing heat and love. I enjoyed reading this newest addition to the Cocky Hero Club Production.

Noah is a great addition to the Cocky Hero Club, and he may be a savage in a suit but he has met his match in Ryan, this story is filled with ups and downs, twists and turns underneath it all though it is a story of a couple both from families that are anything but simple, who find that together they may get their own HEA, the heat raises and the chemistry sizzles, seat back and enjoy.

Reading Savage Suit in a group setting elevated the experience completely. At our London Sunday Bookclub event, we spent as much time discussing Noah’s flaws as we did admiring Ryan’s resilience. Kathryn C. Kelly created characters that feel intentionally imperfect, which made our discussions richer and far more engaging than a typical romance read.

This book ignited one of the most animated conversations we’ve had at London Sunday Bookclub (ladies only, sorry gents!). The power dynamics, the emotional backstory behind the perfume project, and the slow unraveling of Noah’s character gave us so much to explore. Savage Suit isn’t just a romance, it’s a layered character study wrapped in sharp dialogue and tension.

Savage Suit was an excellent choice for our first bookclub event this year. The push-and-pull between Noah and Ryan kept us hooked, while the emotional motivations behind their partnership added depth. It’s the kind of book that invites strong opinions, and our discussion table was full of them, in the best way possible.

What stood out most to me while reading Savage Suit for the London Sunday Bookclub was how deliberately uncomfortable some moments felt and how necessary that discomfort was. Noah’s worldview challenges the reader, while Ryan’s determination grounds the story. This balance made our bookclub conversation incredibly engaging and honest.

This was a good story but some of the characters, besides the main ones, got in the way. The struggle for Noah and Ryan is real with lots of twists you don't see coming.............or maybe you do. The emotions are all over the place as you keep reading and rooting for them to get their HEA!

Ok… so this book is good. Buuuutttt…. Lord is it ever too long. There is really just a lot of unnecessary details and writing. The story is good but just too long, there are a lot of typos about halfway through, like they just said “screw the edits, let’s just publish”.

Savage Suit sparked one of our most thoughtful discussions to date. Noah Keegan is not an easy character to love, but that complexity made our bookclub dialogue incredibly rich. Ryan’s strength and clarity of purpose resonated deeply with many of us around the table.
