This fic will begin during fifth year, will follow Draco's initiation and journey of being a death eater and follow through post battle of Hogwarts. I loved the idea that Draco was secretly behind all of our major milestones leading up to the fall of boldy voldy, and that he was with Hermione every step of the way. It was tender watching their relationship unfold. She was annoying at the beginning but for sure got better as she grew up.

Draco’s wit and snarky comments throughout this was UNMATCHED. I ate it up. So funny & clever.

Hearing about Draco’s upbringing was so sad. Lucius sucks so bad and I’m so happy he died.

I do feel like this felt like 2 books in one, which was weird. Like it just kept going and I don’t think the second storyline was super necessary? Love that Hermione wanted to protect Draco by occluding but it just felt like we were just dragging it on when we didn’t need to.

I did think Draco’s first stay in Azkaban was interesting, how felt unrealistic that he just like- figured it out himself? And got over it himself? Obviously he still had things to work through but you’d think he’d go crazier. I know I would.

I love when we get to hate Ron- and I HATEEEE Ron. Sucks so bad, as always. Loved when Draco finally got to put him in his place.

Draco’s relationship with Ginny was so tender, love a little sister moment. And his relationship with Lupin, taking on a fatherly role. His comments towards and about Harry were always funny.

Draco is a daddy and a badass. I love a death eater Draco and love DADDYYYY Draco if you know what I mean. Damn. 🥵

Loved to see their love grow and how they always chose each other. I get annoyed in fics when they break up bc she’s mad at the choices he’s making but this was all about protecting what they have and they always chose one another.

A few moments…

- Ginny and Draco playing tourists was so funny.
- I loved being inside Draco’s mind, hes so witty.
- Hermione calling for Draco bc she wanted a hug was so tender.
- the engagement!!!
- their kids!!! Draco as a dad always kills me
- their cottage!!!

Anyways I ate this up & couldn’t put it down. Draco is daddy forever.

Well this was completely and totally a Great book .includes everything from the smallest emotions to the great story line to the powerful character's complexities representation .I loved every second of this fic it was totally what I needed and absolutely beautiful written story of love,pain,sacrifice,friendship,hurt and family♥️

First of all .I love how the fic still follows the Canon however it still works soo good to be dromoine fic with Draco malfoy and hermione story in that time .it started in the 5th year of school with Draco already feeling something for Hermione but he is still a prat so he doesn't till her instead he just continues on annoying her to get her attention. He challenges her academically ,at some point we can see how Hermione is kind of Stupid for who she is but I didn't mind it at all .I loved thier dynamic and story when they were just dating in school secretly. It was ingesty and full of tension and hurt but beautiful 💓. Draco was still himself but very in love with her and wanting nothing more than her .bro was soo in love with her it hurts him since he knew what was wanting for him .

This fic's Draco is a Psychopath when he was death eater and even befor and after if we were right .for 70% of this fic this man was nothing but a a killing machine aka Voldy's second in command .it was soo sad seeing him being tortured neither from his past from his father abuse or in the present from V .don't get me wrong he was KILLING people right and left with no second thoughts using Occlumency helped him getting his emotions under control and out of V reach but at the end of the day he was a murderer but it was either him or others so he did what most would do witch is chose himself but deep down he always did what he did to save her and keep her safe😫😫 .his actions may have been seen as him being part of V's army also at some point he may have been with the Order but at the end of the day his loyalty lies with HERMIONE GRENGER only 🥺.he did it all for her from the beginning to the end .he was always there for her and taking the role of a doubt agent and making the unbreakable vow to protect the Order because she asked him to 😭.the Golden trio hunt for the houcrucs might have never succeeded without his help and how much time he came to save thier asses and her ass (the bracelet/him coming just to give her a hug if she needed ).I loved how even though the fic still follows the Canon it includes Draco in a way that made complete sense and was soo good executed

The first 70% of the fic were full of ingest ,hurt, tension ,and PAIN his pain .weather physical or mental torture. That man didn't have a fucking break 💔💔.thier story was a holl pain ,the pain of lovers on two different sides of a war one begin the hero and other even though he is granted the role of the villian is still willing to do it ALL for her safety and hers alone. This man was willing to kill them all the Order /her friends/V/his family FOR HER .he did kill for her MULTIPLE TUMES and he sacrifice himself for her without second thought. He wanted to be good for HER .he didn't give a fuck about redeeming himself in the eyes of anyone but hers and most certainly didn't regret what he did in Order to serve and keep HIS girl save from it all .Hermione was the Heroine we know her to be however she did fight for him in her own way I may say but I still found her very selfish in the way she will rather him being in danger than her friends ,eve though he wasn't realy in any kind of danger to say the least he is literally the best killers out there but still .
I did hate her at the beginning and how she made him feel about thier relationship and all ,she realy hurted him back then 😔 more than anything but Iiked that she still got it together and come back for him .

The last 40 %or 30% were PAIN and nothing more than Draco being in pain 💔 😢. He deserved better. Like wtf didn't they take what he wanted the most not only that but also making him the bad guy and doing THAT to him .he literally was getting mad and for so long and just wanted to finish it all .the stages of his agony were total pain and anguish for him and for me to read .even after he come to himself and tired he just got it more worse and worse. He was perfect 🥰 even after all of that he still loved her and tarnished her safety and sanity the most while being in so much pain 💔. Even after alllllll of that he still get the 2 fucking years like WTF after he did it all for them .I loved the epilogues they were so cute and he was still doing it all for her and to complete her happiness and dream ❤

I love him so much he was crazy about her and didn't fucking care about no one and nothing alse .he was a murderer and still managed to be so soft and on his knees fo her .she has THE control over him and he literally destroyed himself with the use of Occlumency in Order to keep her safe in his mind from V .like he said she was the only one capable of really hurting him and he was right because that man has indore the most brutal, cruel, barbaric torture from the evilness of the most cruel man( his father /V) in the world and still managed to only really REALLY break when it comes to her and HER only 💔 😢.that man was giving her her favorite books befor publication for her birthday even when he was DIEING. I loved him for being the best 👌 but also OMG he was SARCASTIC and rude and disrespectful in very Funny way I loved him the way I would laugh at anything he would say is beyond me .his inner monolog is TO DIE for that man was on the end of his lif on multiple occasions and he still manages to be sarcastic and fanny .don't get me started on him being HOT as fuck doing all the killing for his girl and for his life but still upholding all of his characteristics is waw .

I loved the fic in general. It wasn't boring at all and the spice was perfectly hot and not so much .Even though it was Canon there were new and different things happening .the book was full of action and emotions not a single chapter was just there . there was always somthing happening with him or with the story in general and I loved it .the first 30 % of thier cute /not so cute dating tension and banter in school was so beautiful 😍 the meddle of the fic was complete CHAOS emotionally and in regard of the plot's events .the last 30% was quite the most calm part but not for or so long as it is also at the end turned upside down but still it felt good to see them fall in love all over again .loved his character development. He was still HIM, sarcastic ,hot,murderer, but he get good emotionally and kind of become the good guy even though he still didn't care to be one 😉. Hermione was a bad ass at the last part and I loved it for her

The FOUD FAMILY trop was TROPPING so much I Cried for them at the end and how his relationship with them get so strong and all .from he beginning I loved his little friendship with Pans ,Theo and Blaise they were each other evry thing and were there for each other even in the bad time and I love it .I love how Draco saved them and they stood for him in it all even though at the beginning I was sure that Pans was in love with him but no she was just afraid for him 💔 to get hurt and let face it she was right. His friendship with Geny ,Freckles, OMG I cried with them they were the best ever I loved his friendship with Theo and i think they were really brothers but for me it will be his friendship with Geny .I just Loved them ❤. I love that he got the fucking FAMILY he never had from lupin ,Harry ,his friend ...... I am happy he got his happy ending even though HE FOUGHT FOR IT .

I hated his father like wtf are u kidding me why would he do that to him I knew he would be much worse than V .fuck him .and fuck Ron with him I wish Draco killed him and not his brother when he was under V control. I would say I knew she didn't die but I didn't expect her to lose her mommies of him Like that but I wasn't chocked to see it .as I said I loved seeing her fall for him all over again and him too .
I hated his mother like I understand but fuck her too for not standing to him in the beginning.


SNIPE my baby .Wtf happen there I believe that the author has personal hate toward him to make Draco kill him just like That without knowing the truth about him com on I would take his life for lupin and Theo hhhhhhhh .one thing that I wasn't found of is Theo and Pans relationship like Emmmmmm they weren't good together at alllll like I didn't see it coming nor did I seeing it wile they were in relationship.

My man didn't deserve the 5 years in Azkaban are u kidding me after all he has done. He literally sacrificed himself in the forbidding forest to die beside helping the Order at the beginning and after his 3 years only to be thrown back because What he killed his father and a bunch of teeth eater who would have become the next V and his army. Fuck off .

A lot of people complain about how bad Hermione was. And I’m telling you that the author told us that. It’s literally in the tags. Like, we were warned. They have no one to blame but themselves.

Ngl I was hesitant about this fic, because it wasn't on Goodreads yet and was hella long, but the second McGonagall said their research topic was occlumency, I knew this was gonna be good 😁 Ginny is my favorite character, little spitfire who's challenging everyone and is the voice of the reader, love it. ALSO THE KNIFE PLAY??? HELLO 👀 Draco's humor in this fic was the best part, top tier, I actually laughed. "I think your mother's sacrifice was a waste" BROOO GODDAMN HARRY'S STILL RECOVERING FROM THAT ONE💀The dry sarcasm with absolutely no mercy for his roasts, it was so entertaining. I kind of wish there was more of an explanation of why Ginny and Harry didn't stop Ron from pursuing Hermione after everything happened, it just doesn't seem like they'd just let him do that, and also I don't know why Ron took advantage like that. I loved the deep dive into Azkaban, and his friendship with Hillman was so cute, definitely read that one shot if you pick this book up.

Although this Hermione was not portrayed traditionally canon, which very much through me off at first, I was still so drawn into this story and I’m glad I kept going. This specific FF Draco, is absolutely hands down, one of my faves I’ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing. Like holy moly 1000/10🔥the amount of times I audibly snorted and laughed out loud at his pure snark and quick witted sarcasm!!!😂 plus I’m a die hard sucker for the “I’ll kill you if you lay a hand on Hermione, Draco” and this fic came through(also can’t forget the Ron bashing but I digress). You also dont get a lot of Ffics that come entirely from Draco’s POV which is something I very much enjoyed! It’s a lengthy read but I def recommend!

I was a bit conflicted about this one.

1. There were parts where I felt like the writing was rushed, Parts where the writing was dragging, and parts where the writing was really good. In the beginning I kept geeing myself up to continue on cause the writing was so bad.

2. The storyline was a bit skewed. Not the way that it followed the sequence of events of the book but it felt like major points of the war was brushed over. Ie. the whole scenario with Voldemort. It ended pretty quickly.

3. Malfoy’s personality was on point. Funny, witty, sarcastic. I found myself laughing out loud and rereading portions over and over. The flow between the scene and his comebacks were flawless.

4. It felt like the story was about to end/should have ended multiple times. I’m glad it didn’t but at the low points, it started to feel like it was dragging and a new story was beginning.

5. Hermoine was weird. She was basically written like an idiot in the book which I didn’t appreciate. There’s comments referring to her as ‘the brightest witch of her age’ but she was so far from it.

Overall it was a great book, heaps of bookmarks throughout. Thoroughly enjoyed.

I never thought I could think of Hermione Granger as stupid until I read this fic.
I love Draco and his POV but it’s like all of Hermiones brains were transferred to him and everything relied too heavily on Dracos involvement, it just became tedious.
There’s no way on earth that Hermione fucking Granger would sit back and put up with someone walking around killing people (under orders yes I know) and just not care?? Just completely out of character she became unbearable.
DNFd at chapter 59 because I read a review that says she experiences memory loss at some point and I’m just not going to keep dragging through the worst Hermione I’ve ever come across just to then deal with memory loss.
Draco however, I love the sass and I do love their relationship that is all very well written it’s just the plot and hermiones personality that make it difficult. I might go back and finish one day and give a higher rating but for now it’s a 2.5⭐️

I enjoyed the plot of this book overall but there were some things that were hard to overlook.

This was actually my second time trying to read this bc the first time I DNF’d but I am glad I read the whole thing.
I’m a sucker for Dramione.

The hermione in this was not what I’m used to though. She was weak and ignorant for the majority of the book. Just bc Draco kept calling her the brightest didn’t mean she acted like it. Draco was far more intelligent in this work.

There was a lot of character development in the work which was good but it felt a little choppy at times like with Theo.

The Draco and Ginny banter was the best I’ve read in a dramione fanfic though. I genuinely enjoyed those interactions more than any others. This Draco overall was pretty funny and lethal.

This fic had me laughing so hard one minute, and then crying my eyes out the next. The stretch of chapters with Draco in Azkaban caused me actual physical pain and I was ugly crying through the entire thing. And we really earn that “Draco hates blueberry scones” tag in the second half haha.

Not gonna lie, I did not love Hermione in this fic, in fact I found her annoying and really OOC for most of it, especially during their time at Hogwarts, but the other characters (especially Ginny) made up for it.

DNF - 308 pages in.

Both Draco and Hermione in this are insufferable. Hermione is written like a blonde bimbo, and Draco is given too much power. Somehow he’s Voldemort’s top guy at barely 17 after only a few months as a death eater AND he’s the only personal capable of completing Order missions? Why wasn’t Hermione’s brain put to use? Why was Hermione so ok with how much killing Draco was doing? It’s just a bit much even if Draco is supposed to be an unreliable narrator. I couldn’t get into it and really dont understand all the hype behind this one.

4.5 rounded up to 5! I was glued. This Draco was everything!! Witty, adorably in love. Epitome of “touch her you die” “i’ll burn the whole world for you” “her voice saves him from brink every time”. Loved loved loved Draco in this. Always love a spy for the order moment. Yeah Hermoine was dumb and annoying in this and I wish some of how her character develops was present earlier but the author warns us about this in the tag. Ginny was fabulous and Theo was amazing. Kind of wish the London scene was with Hermoine but the found family with Ginny and Harry was too funny.

This was a decent, but very lengthy, fic. Several grammatical errors that were rather annoying. I enjoyed it being from Draco's perspective since that isn't something you normally get. I wish that there was more substance to Hermione's character - it felt like we were missing pieces of her complex personality. I almost gave up on this fic in the beginning because it was lacking in depth somewhat. However, it did end up picking up the pace as I powered through to the end. Good ending which helped redeemed the fic somewhat.

Honestly I can't believe I made it this far. Maybe it was my need for a Draco's POV but that wasn't enough to keep me going, all characters were insufferable and stupid. Draco seems to have a back bone but no, he's a puppet whenever Hermione wants something, sometimes he could be such a doormat.

We can easily describe the story with this quote, especially the part when they're hunting the horcruxes and Hermione makes stupid decisions and acts so F childish

This story is absolutely absurd. The characters do and say way too much they wouldn’t. Draco being an “unreliable narrator” seems like a cover for the author’s poor writing. It read like a romantic dramady and was, dare I say, campy at times. That being said, if you like Draco as the devoted, “touch her and I’ll kill you” villain, you may enjoy many portions of this fic. Overall, the story is not good but it was somehow still an enjoyable read.

The general premise was really cute, but I feel like it would’ve been better suited as two separate fanfics. The first fan fic being the re-telling from hogwarts and the second being the events from after the battle. The second part of the fic felt rushed in terms of plot/timeline, but also was hard to get through. The first portion would’ve been 5 stars for me. But overall it was cute and I liked the character development.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS BOOK!!! Draco in this was so fucking hot I can’t- also their story is so amazing. I kept crying, laughing and spotting different parallels through this book. It was so well written and entertaining <3

This book was long and had some plot holes that really bugged me. I actually took a break halfway through because it felt like it was never ending. Draco is fantastic in this book, snarky and toxic. Hermione is difficult to love in the first half but I did come to appreciate her character at the end. I’m happy I finished it but probably wouldn’t reread it.
