As someone who tries to be mindful in phone usage, I chose to read this book to try to improve more on this.
This book is not something that should be read in one sitting. Each chapters suggest to allot a day for each, and practice what it suggests. I must say though that I'm guilty of reading a couple more in one sitting as each chapter is not that long. At the end of each chapter, there's a TO-DO LIST suggesting what can be done to "stop scrolling".
Some suggestions are tips that one can easily encounter casually browsing online. What I like is the apps and more recent techniques. I also enjoy the quotes at the beginning of each chapter - which are I'm quite sure I've also already encountered online.
I always enjoy reading on topics on how to use tech and social media to our advantage but it didn't have the sweet spot that could've made this a five-star read. Would still recommend this to anyone who wants to improve on phone usage but aren't into reading lengthy books or too much delving into research. This is just the right fit.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This book has a lot of useful tips and by making it into a 30-day program, it becomes very manageable and doable. The information is backed up by research and the author's personal experiences which definitely makes me more interested in giving it a go. There was a small downside to reading this on my Kindle in that the chapter on colour with a few photographs was fully in black and white. Read this in colour if you can!
"Stop Scrolling" in my eBook (it’s an exception to scrolling) led me to discover an amazing way to manage my time. After putting Tony’s recommendations into practice, I must commend and highly recommend everyone to read and follow through consistently. Thank you, and I’ve also followed you on LinkedIn.
Book was easy to read and had easy to implement suggestions. However, it is more written for someone who is literally glued to their phone 24/7, so overall I did not find it all that helpful or inspiring.
Received a complimentary copy of the book from the author via Voracious Readers for a honest review. A well written book, with some great tips to help reduce my mindless scrolling.
