About the author

Stephen Taylor

32 books67 followers
Stephen Taylor spent over twenty years wiring up homes and businesses with audio visual kit before the big 50 started looming and he finally sat down to write the book he’d always had rattling around in his head.

That book was Execution of Faith — a supercharged, no-nonsense thriller that hit the ground running and never looked back. Readers loved it so much he wrote a prequel, Vodka Over London Ice, which became the first in what is now the internationally bestselling Danny Pearson series.

Raised on a diet of Lee Child’s Jack Reacher, Vince Flynn’s Mitch Rapp, and Tom Wood’s Victor — with a healthy side serving of Die Hard, Daniel Craig’s Bond, and anything Guy Ritchie ever pointed a camera at — Stephen writes the kind of thrillers he wants to read: hard, fast, no filler, and with enough humour to keep you grinning between the gunfights.

The Danny Pearson series has found fans across the world who love action that doesn’t let up and a hero who’s as handy with a one-liner as he is with his fists. If you like your thrillers with the throttle wide open, you’re in the right place.

Another great roller coaster of a read. The book was action packed all of the way and it was great to see a few old faces making an appearance. There were quite a few sad bits as well as the good guys winning against the sad guys. It was certainly worrying to see think how easily two countries could potentially be manipulated into war. I look forward to the next book which I understand will be some time in the summer of 2020. A huge thanks to the author a well deserved 5 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

If you love the action and adventure genre, this is a series that you really ought to try.

It is my third book in the series this spring and I am now an avid Stephen Taylor fan!

His characterization, settings, technical details, and storyline always buzz with energy, and the bad guys may appear to be gaining the upper hand, but then they don't reckon fully on Danny Pearson!

A series I would highly recommend.

Who holds the power

Excellent plot and very well written thriller. Did I miss something ? I thought one of the triplet chinamen was killed early in the book and the second by Danny at the end. However, in the briefing with the US President we were told that the first triplet died when he was 18.

Good fast moving thriller.

Good thriller that has Danny Pearson kept on his toes to stay alive against unknown assailants. While trying to bring a stolen hard drive outlining identities and plans of a criminal organisation he falls for the lady to whom it was posted to and becomes in a race to keep them both alive. A race that requires the help of past comrades at home and new comrades from America.

Pearson starting to get hold of me

Exotic locations, a cast of villains and the retired hero doing battle for the good of keeping the peace. Taylor adds more sophisticated plot lines to his books as you go through the series.

Decent

I enjoy these books but they do seem a bit plot convenient at times with main character having the worse luck of all time.
