This is a short read in which the author shows you the affirmations and scripture she used to help her lose a hundred pounds in weight. It took her a realistic amount of time and has nothing to do with fad diets or extreme exercising. She doesn’t recommend any of that and tells of her previous failures to lose weight when doing so previously. It is more about being open to change and making yourself responsible for your decisions. It’s not rocket science, but does take commitment on your own part. Mindset is definitely the main thing people need to change, especially when it might come to trying to eat more healthily and realising this is for life, not just a quick fix.

The book is exceedingly short and not something I would pay £10 for, but that is my opinion. The story shows photos of the author as she went through her journey, more start and end with most by the looks of them. It is clearly her opinions and ideas, but the best part is that there are no false promises or cons about losing weight. It is exactly as it says, affirmations that helped her lose weight and which might encourage others. I received an ARC copy of this book from BookSprout and I have freely given my own opinion of the book above.
