kaylee ryan is usually my go-to for safe, sweet books but this one missed the mark

can take all of my money... I'm not sure why I'm even surprised anymore each and every time I read her work. She knows how falling in love feels and she's damn good at putting it to paper for us to fall madly in love with her characters.
Declanis a single father to one adorable little girl. To tell you the truth this book wouldn't be what it is without little Blakely. She plays a crucial part in his life as well his new found relationship with Kennedy. His life is wrapped around taking care of her and spending time with this large family. But when he meet Kennedy, for the first time in a long time, he feels like a man. He wants her to be his no matter what and I determined to make that happen.
Kennedy's recently divorced and wants to start fresh and what better way than getting away from the big city and spending a few months with her grandmother, who needs her help. What she didn't expect was to find Declan and all of Kincaid family. She is trying so hard to put up wall to protect her heart, but it's in vain because there's absolutely nothing she wants more that staying.
I really enjoyed this book. It pulled all the right strings and made me believe that, when you love someone unconditional there is nothing, and I mean NOTHING to stand in your way to achieve HEA.

Noooooo!!! That ending ruined the entire story for me! I am so mad. What started off as a 5 star for me ended at a 1 when it turns out she is pregnant by her ex-husband, who she slept with before she came to town and met Deacon and his daughter. Gross!! After the big reveal, I skipped the end, no reason to read the rest of it. Man, I was looking forward to this one so badly. I hope the next one is better, just gonna pretend this book didn't exist.

Well, the Kincaid brothers are something else, that's for sure.
In this book, we have Declan - yay! Swoony single dad, has his own business and shit together, and most importantly, isn't hung up on his baby momma. The perfect hero for a small-town romance.
Kennedy lives in Florida but when her grandmother breaks her leg, she's quick to rush to her aid. Her divorce is through so she could use a change of scenery anyway.
What she doesn't expect is Declan, his adorable little girl and whole family, and the close group of girlfriends who are so quick to accept her into their inner circle.
Everything is going perfectly, strong bonds and feelings are quickly formed, but the fact that she has a life back in Florida is a constant thought in the back of her mind.
Will she stay forever?

I liked the first book a little more, it was more of a 3-star read for me, but Blakely deserves her own star. It was a little too perfect for me, but I'm excited for Sterling's book.

It was good
Everything was good, I was loving it, I was totally enjoying the story. What ruined it? The shit storyline of her having her ex’s baby. What in the hell was that? Awful, horrible. Ruined the whole story for me.

I’ve said it before in past reviews and I’ll stand her and say it once more, these Kincaid Brothers are stealing my heart! If you’re looking for a swoony hero who will do everything for the woman he loves, look no further and pick up Stay Forever, and the Kincaid Brothers series!
Stay Forever is the second full length novel in the Kincaid Brothers series by Kaylee Ryan. This wonderful romance revolves are Declan Kincaid, his 4, almost 5, year old daughter Brooks and their leading lady Kennedy Edwards. SWOOOOON!
Declan has spent the past five years trying to be the best single father a little girl could ask for. And trust me ladies and gents, this man is a rockstar in the father category. But throughout the years, he’s realized there’s one thing he can’t give his little girl, and that’s the love that only a motherly figure can give. Thank god he has a large family and several sister-in-laws… but something is still off….
Until……. Newly divorced, Kennedy Edwards, rides into town clutching a broken heart.
And that’s where I’m going to end things on this portion of my review… We all need a little secrecy in our lives and I feel this book is best read without any knowledge of what’s inside the story. So let’s skip right on to my thoughts on Kaylee Ryan’s newest release Stay Forever.
You all shouldn’t be surprised to find that I loved every single detail of Declan and Kennedy’s romance. So let’s get into the why’s….
First let’s start with the characters.
Declan Kincaid was the brother I pictured would come last in the Kincaid Brother’s series. This man has a lot to lose and a lot at stake when it comes to finding love. But Kaylee Ryan through me for a loop when she brought his book this early on in the game. And I’m not at all disappointed because, secretly, I was hoping to get Declan’s story sooner rather than later. There’s something about a single father romance that pumps up the level of vulnerability. This novel literally brought me heart eyes throughout the whole story. I loved how caring this man is. I also loved the fact that this man saw something he wanted in his life and went for it. Even with the curveball thrown in there, there wasn’t a second I doubted his love for Kennedy. This man Works Hard, and Loves Harder. Definitely a motto to live by. Thanks Papa Kincaid!
Now onto Kennedy. This is a woman who was put through the emotional wringer with her last relationship/marriage, I wasn’t surprised when there was slight hesitation on jumping in the lake of romance with Declan. This man was too good to be true in her eyes. But sometimes fate works in mysterious ways… and due to spoilers that’s all I’m going to say about Kennedy Edwards. Just know, Kennedy may just steal your heart more than Declan did! Her back story had me fighting back tears. My heart hurt for this woman…. But if you’ve read Kaylee Ryan’s books before, you’re soon realize that hurt you felt will soon be morphed into a never-ending amount of pure joy….
Last but not least, we have Declan’s adorable daughter Brooks. I feel this little girl stole the show! She is so stinkin’ cute and made the sad moments feel just a little bit lighter. I loved her relationship with the whole family and I loved how every single Kincaid brother worshiped the ground she walked on. She was treated like the rarest treasure, exactly the way a little one should be treated. The funniest thing though, was seeing her wrap all these big burly Kincaid Brothers around that teeny tiny finger. I can’t wait to see more babies be brought into this series! Believe me when I say, it was an overload of cuteness.
There isn’t much more I can say, beyond what I’ve already said. Just know, if you are the type of reader who loves small town romances with a heavy amount of swoon, a somewhat insta-love approach, and an epic happily ever after don’t hesitate and pick up Stay Forever by Kaylee Ryan today! Declan Kincaid may just be my favorite brother!! This one is a definite MUST READ!

Loving this charming edition to the Kincaid series. AS always, Kaylee delivers a low angst, tender-hearted, super swoony love story that gave me all the giddy butterflies. Single dad? Small town? Cute kiddo? Dreamy vibes? This story is just adorable!
The Kincaid is such a larger and sprawling brood- but I’m starting to get my bearings amongst this expansive crew. Stay Forever gives us the story of Declan Kincaid. Declan crosses paths with the romance editor, who has returned home to Willow River after a divorce to help her grandmother. And who can resist the delectable single dad Declan and his sassy kiddo Blakely?
I was so excited to dig into Declan’s story- the glimmers we had of him had me already swooning. He’s the stuff dreams are made of- kind, protective, affectionate and open. Not to mention, he’s just the cutest dad. The way he woos Kennedy literally had me swooning left and right- he’s simply yummy. Kaylee heroes are always my favorite- she’s not scared to have her heroes be sweet and tender and be the first to fall/go all in HARD from the start, and Declan loves just how we all deserve to be loved. Kennedy is super relatable, and I loved seeing her fall in love and find her found family in the Kincaids. And her grandma is just the best. The characters in this series are so fun, and I loved how their families play out in this story.
Kaylee always delivers a feel good read that has me grinning. THe Kincaid series is shaping up to be a new favorite- I can’t wait to read the next!

This was a light hearted and a little emotional read. The characters were so amazing. Where can I get a family like this?
His family was so damn supportive. His daughter was cute af. The bond between them was amazing. I loved how she developed a relationship with his daughter.
It was hard for me to remember his brothers and sister in laws name at first but later it was all sorted. Also I didn't expected that plot twist at all.
It was quite a good read and I would definitely recommend it if you want a quick and light hearted read.

This was such a beautiful story! A heartfelt single dad romance that made me swoon. I fell in mad love with these characters, and I absolutely loved it! One thing is guaranteed whenever I pick an Kaylee Ryan romance, she will make me smile and swoon and then make me fall in love with every character instantly. Stay Forever is another example. Declan is an amazing hero with his swoonworthy alpha protective personality and Kennedy made my heart break for her. Their adorable, flirty and yet, heartaching story is full of all the feels and steamy perfection.
An addictive and enthralling romance, Stay Forever was romantic and positively brimming with feels. Kaylee Ryan’s breathtaking storytelling was on point, and I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. I loved every word of this story, and I am eagerly anticipating the next book in this series.

I wasn't thrilled with some of the direction this book took. I wasn't a fan of the goodbye sex the h had with her ex husband. I didn't like that her divorce was just finalized right before she met Declan. She had goodbye sex with her ex husband day before she met Delcan. It wasn't in detail and skipped to afterward I still don't like sex stuff with other people. I kept worrying that she would end up pregnant with he ex's baby. When she was younger she had appendicitis and after that doctors told her she might never be able to have children. Kennedy and her husband had been together since college. He said they could discuss kids later. Later came and he said he didn't want kids so that is part of why they divorced. Also, they drifted apart.

Declan has been single a long time, and it’s not that he doesn’t want to be in a relationship, it’s that he has a very special girl that will always come first..his daughter Blakely. He is so thankful to have his family close by but as his brothers are finding love, he starts to fantasize what that would be like, to have a family, for his daughter to have a mom.
Kennedy is on her way to stay with her grandmother for several months after she broke her leg. Fortunately with her job, Kennedy can be anywhere so she will help out as long as need be. Kennedy has been in a marriage, that she now knows she probably should have never been in, but the paperwork is signed, she is newly divorced and now looking onward. When she arrives at her grandma’s house, it’s not long until she meets the neighbors and holy cow! What do the men in this town eat? There are many hot looking men next door, one in particular with the sweetest, sassiest little girl.
Such a sweet story. I hated what a certain test implicated but I knew it from the way the beginning was written that this was what was headed our way. Despite that, Declan is swoon worthy. You know he is a great dad but that carries over to his interactions with Kennedy. Especially as time goes on, it’s so sweet to see them come together. Look forward to more Kincaids.

The day that Kennedy's divorce is finalized she gets news that her grandma fell and broke her leg. Kennedy decided that this is exactly what she needs, she will go stay with her grandma, help her and get a bit of a break from her life. Since she can work from anywhere it is perfect. Little did she know that she would meet Declan and his daughter Blakely and her whole world would change.
I really enjoyed Declan and Kennedy. Declan was ready to jump all in for the first time since his daughter was born and I am here for it. These two were so perfect. He knew Kennedy was hesitant because of her recent divorce but he put his heart on the line for her and wasn't willing to not be with her for however long it may have been. The family dynamic is top notch and I loved how everyone instantly brought Kennedy into the family and loved her from day one. And that plot twist . . . man got me all up in the feels. I am absolutely loving Kaylee Ryan’s Kincaid series and up next is Stay Forever, Declan’s story. Declan is a single-dad and his daughter is his world. With the support of his family, he knew he was giving his daughter everything she needed. Then Kennedy enters their lives and it’s like she is the missing piece. He was determined, caring and protective. Kennedy is newly divorced and definitely not looking for a relationship. She is caring, likable and kind and she is not here to stay. She is only in town for a short period of time. And yet she finds herself drawn to Declan and is adorable daughter. I loved the chemistry Declan and Kennedy shared and their connection was honest and real. I loved their journey and all the characters so much. Another great read from this author!

This book tugged at my heart. Kaylee you have done it again. You have made me fall so hard for a book. Declan, Kennedy and Blakely are the cutest. My cheeks hurt from smiling so much but I don’t mind it at all. I already wanted to move to Georgia when I read Stay Over but now it’s official I have got to go. I fell head over heels for Declan. He’s such an amazing and sweet guy. It’s so awesome seeing a guy put his daughter before anything else. And Kennedy was such a lovable sweetheart. It was so easy to fall in love with how sweet and kind she is. The way Declan spoke to his daughter and Kennedy made me swoon. Also his family and Kennedy’s grandmother are such supportive people. The thing I love most about books by this author is that I know, from page 1, that I am going to be drawn into the story, the romance, and the characters.
Declan and Kennedy were no exception. From the very start of the book, you want things to work out for Kennedy, as you get a little glimpse into the life she has been living and you want more for her and you want to witness her get that more.
There were some parts of this one that were a little predictable, but also worked because they were things that would be part of getting a happily ever after, and the way the author (and, let's be honest, the hero) handled the twists in the book made them feel realistic.
I enjoyed and recommend this title.

So I probably would've given this book 4 stars but lost some because of the plot twist at the end.
I read the first book in the series a couple months ago and I knewwwwww the rest of these Kincaid men wouldn’t disappoint. Nine brothers worth of stories coming at us!
Declan is every single dad book boyfriend who loves unconditionally, works hard, and is such a gentleman (with some freak in the sheets tendencies).
The plot twist threw me though and I wish the pregnancy wasn't Lyle's. HOWEVERRRR, I appreciate how Declan handled it and he is treating Kennedy the way she deserves: with his whole heart.
I will most definitely continue on with the rest of the series.

The plot twist threw me though and I wish the pregnancy wasn't Lyle's. HOWEVERRRR, I appreciate how Declan handled it and he is treating Kennedy the way she deserves: with his whole heart.
I will most definitely continue on with the rest of the series.

I really enjoyed this book. Kaylee Ryan writes Family dynamic so well. She also has this way of pulling you into the family chaos and you become absorbed with it. The story is told in a way that brings you full circle to what defines home and family. The Powerful piece to this story is when you are truly loved unconditionally you are home. Declan and Blakely needed Kennedy as much as she needed the two of them. Throw in a matchmaking feisty Grandma and this is a Fantastic Read! I am in love with this series and I really cannot wait for the next brother to fall.

There is no other way to describe this story than beautiful. Declan and Kennedy’s story will steal your heart and soul from the very first moment that they meet. At times your heart will break and you will feel like you are shattering along with it. However there are so many moments that will steal your breath and have your heart melting. This is a storyline about that love you have always been hoping for but never thought you would find. There is plenty of witty banter to lighten the load of emotions and enough heat and steam to warm you up. A story of love, family, friends and an intense connection that could mean nothing less than forever.

Declan has had to stay away from the normal casual dating due to his baby girl but when Kennedy comes to town - there is a pull that he can’t explain. All he knows is that Kennedy is his future and he has to do everything he can to make her stay.
Kennedy never expected to find friendship no less love when she came to help her grandmother recover. And as much as she wants to stay she doesn’t see how… until a life changing moment makes the decision for her.
Kaylee is the queen of swoon and this series cements the title. I can’t wait to read the rest of this series!!

My favorite trope ever - single parent trope - strikes again! ❤️
Loved every second of this book, from the characters and their personalities, to the relationships, to the way everyone openly communicates. It's a perfect romance novel, without any angst, or drama from a 3rd party like an ex. It's got a good tempo building up the main character's relationship, not too slow, but not instant love.
I gotta say, every single brother in this series is husband material and Kaylee Ryan set a *HIGH* standard now for me. 😩

You could feel the connection between Kennedy and Declan right from the start in this one. I loved how Kennedy's grandma egged the relationship on! It was also great to see that Kennedy and Declan went with the attraction. Kennedy tried to slow things, always stating that she was going back home after her grandma was better, but you could tell she didn't want to. I was happy with how things changed, glad that both Kennedy and Declan know the other choose them for love and nothing else.

This book was everything , Kennedy and Declan are so dreamy and so perfect for one another , you have Declan who’s a single dad and you have Kennedy caring for her grandma and the cutest meet cute ever by the way, Kaylee just has a way of sucking you into the story , I love this family , loved every word .

Falling in love with the Kincaid family even more with each book. Loved Declan & Kennedy's story. The best is his daughter Blakey's wish coming true. She's got everyone wrapped around her finger, and her personality comes through the pages. Looking forward to continuing the series

Oh my goodness! Declan and Kennedy had me smiling throughout the whole book! Declan was such a sweetheart! I loved how he was always there for little girl Blakey! I loved how he and Kennedy were always there for each other! The ending was just perfect! 💜

This book was cute! Declan and Kennedy and Blakely were so cute together as a family unit. It was fast paced in a way, and there was a plot point that I wasn’t a huge fan of which is why I’m giving it three stars instead of four.

idk if it’s just because i was listening to the audiobook (and i didn’t like the narrators) but this was SO CRINGE i had to stop. there was also a lot of really weird and misogynistic things happening that i just couldn’t listen to anymore. AND it was boring

Ohhh I love these men and their huge family! Declan and Kennedy are just gah! I adored them and this story so much. Add in little miss Blakley and I was done and head over heels for this story!

Sweet story!
This was a sweet story. We've met Declan and Blakely in previous books in this series. Declan has always been the hot single dad in the group so Kennedy is perfect for him. I really enjoyed reading how they became a family.
I hope Sterling and Alyssa are next. I enjoyed getting to know them in this story.
