I won't lie, I read this in Spanish and it's not my first language, so I think there was really only one page I didn't quite 100% understand, but the rest of it I know I got.
I really enjoyed it. I'm enjoying the mini series and seeing how Jaime is living, and what the city is like, and some DC worldbuilding. And the expansion of the blue beetle mythos and seeing Ted doing his thing, too.
And the fun character reveal at the end is one of my favorites. I look forward the next issue, and I look forward to seeing the comparisons from English to Spanish and seeing what translation changes were made and if I missed anything.

I really like the art and colors in this book. They really pop. The story is fun and I am enjoying the main character. This is my first time reading a Blue Bettle story. Even though I am reading the English verison, there are entire conversations that take place in Spanish. I hope I am not missing anything major there.

Not sure how I feel about this Starfire costume but at least her curly hair is back!
