We’ve vowed not to cross the line, but Nina leaves no doubt she craves my touch. I’ve reined us both in, keeping a distance as Nina gets off on satisfying her lovers’ hottest fantasies.
But what about hers?
It’s a question I pose one wild night drenched in too much champagne. She makes a list, and now I’m hellbent on helping her fill each of her deliciously dirty fantasies.
Even the ones she’s afraid to admit.
Honey Do is a scorching hot standalone m/f erotic romance with a little m/f/m/m treat. If you like friends-to-lovers and menage, this one’s for you. This story contains no cheating and an HEA is guaranteed!
When Tawna Fenske finished her English lit degree at 22, she celebrated by filling a giant trash bag full of romance novels and dragging it everywhere until she’d read them all. Now she’s a RITA Award finalist, USA Today bestselling author who writes humorous fiction, risqué romance, and heartwarming love stories with a quirky twist. Publishers Weekly has praised Tawna’s offbeat romances with multiple starred reviews and noted, “There’s something wonderfully relaxing about being immersed in a story filled with over-the-top characters in undeniably relatable situations. Heartache and humor go hand in hand.”
Tawna lives in Bend, Oregon, with her husband, step-kids, and a menagerie of ill-behaved pets. Nina and Josh had been best friends since they were small children. Nina’s parents were awful, compared Nina to her older sister, harassed Nina for not going into law like the rest of the family, and just made her feel unlovable. Sure not parents I would want. Josh had problems with his father and how his father treated women. The two were a mess when it came to love. The more the two let their insecurities not get in the way, the closer they became. I encourage you to read the book. I was given a copy and voluntarily wrote a review.
This is one of several books that got me going! Scenes of the scenes are spectacular! Detailed, safe, agreement and love of the characters! If you enjoy ménage and/or swingers this is a book for you! There is a HEA but with a twist!
A*R*C for honest review with no compensation 4.5 stars
Honey Do is a standalone, but inter-connected to Eye Candy and Tough Cookie, a wholly hotness, sexy read by Tawna Fenske.
Nina and Josh have been best friends since grade school and vowed to never cross the friends to lovers line. But both have feelings buried deep for each other so when things heat up they cross the line…oh my!!
What a steamy, super hot, sexy read so gets your fan running to keep you cool..lol.
Nina and Josh have been friends for what seems like forever. They are attracted to one another but have not dared to cross the line for fear of ruining their friendship. They tell each other everything. Nina is known to have a wide range of sexual appetites, including being a couple’s unicorn. A woman willing to have sex with a couple with no strings attached. Josh likes to play the field, but because of his father’s infidelity, Josh has never told a woman that he loves her, and Nina knows this. Then, late one Friday night, when they were able to catch up with each other, they both had some news to share. Nina had been promoted as the youngest partner of the advertising company she worked for, and Josh not only landed the university project but became the lead architect for the project. They decided to celebrate, and when they were half-drunk, Josh decided to make a list of Nina’s fantasies. She received pleasure when she made other people’s fantasies come true, but what about her fantasies?
For a series ender, even for a series of stand-alones, this tale was very good. For being one hundred seventy pages, it seemed a bit short for me. I wanted more. The physical world-building is sparse, needing only to tell us the details of where they are or will be. The ethereal world-building is more personal and shared between the two main characters. The characters’ background is filled in well enough to know what the present is doing to them. The character interaction, well, there is a whole lot of interaction that goes on.
WARNING: EXPLICIT ADULT EROTICA: I give this erotic friends to lovers read five stars out of five stars.
3.75stars-HONEY DO is the third instalment in Tawna Fenske’s contemporary, adult SUGAR AND SPICE erotic, romance novellas. This is architect Josh Cline, and PR and partner Nina Stone’s story line. HONEY DO can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.
NOTE: HONEY DO is a story of erotica and sexual fantasies with reverse harem scenarios (three men and one woman).
Told from dual first person perspectives (Josh and Nina) HONEY DO follows the best friends to lovers relationship between architect Josh Cline, and PR and partner Nina Stone. Nina Stone likes $ex and has a bucket list of every sexual escapade she wants to experience. Best friend Josh Cline, secretly in lust with our story line heroine, is going to ensure Nina’s fantasies come true, along with his own, every step of the way. As Josh and Nina work their way through the list, Josh finds himself falling for his best friend but the past refuses to let go, and Josh believes he is unworthy and incapable of love. As Nina struggles with her own family drama, our heroine battles with self-doubt in the face of her reunion with the people she can never please. What ensues is the friends to lovers, bucket list sexual journey between Nina and Josh, and the potential fall-out as the check marks on the bucket list, come to an end.
We are up close and personal with the past as Nina Stone must face the family that destroyed her confidence even though she is successful at everything she does. A people pleaser due to the lack of support by her parents and family, Nina finds herself falling for a man who may not be around for her happily ever after. Josh Cline watched from the sidelines as his father cheated on his mother, espousing the benefits of infidelity and $ex. Josh never wanted to become his father but believed himself incapable of love in the wake of his father’s affairs. The $ex scenes are erotic, intense, M/F and multiple partners.
All of the previous story line couples make a cameo appearance. We are introduced to Nina’s boss, as well as Nina’s parents and her long suffering sister Tessa.
HONEY DO is a story of passion and $ex, experiments and sexual fantasies, acceptance, forgiveness and love. The fast paced premise is imaginative; the romance is provocative and steamy; the characters are sassy, energetic and charismatic.
I have to say I’ve enjoyed the previous two stories, but this book is my all-time favorite of the three. I’ve always liked these two characters, Nina, and Josh and with this story we find out so much more about their relationship/friendship and they’ve both agreed not to do anything to jeopardize things between them. However one night after they both received some amazing career news, they cheer to each other and end up emptying a bottle of champagne plus some other drinks and they spend the night together. Now will that be it or do they want to chance their friendship/relationship and go for more, maybe a relationship…? I really loved that Josh is all about prioritizing Nina’s happiness along with making sure things are good for her in the bedroom as well. She unfortunately has baggage from her childhood and growing up especially with the way her parents and even sister have treated her but in a very interesting turn of events when Nina and Josh go back to where they grew up for a class reunion and have dinner with her parents and per usual, they treat Nina horribly and Josh lets her parents and sister and her husband have it and I couldn’t have been more proud of Josh during that moment and when he thinks he messed up with Nina, she wasn’t upset at all and we even find out her perfect precious sister isn’t happy at all in her life yet Nina is the one who is happy and has everything she’s ever wanted. On their drive back home they stop at a lighthouse that’s unfortunately demolished but that stop changes everything and I loved the couple that they run into there as well. My favorite line from this story is when a couple tells Nina, ‘you’re the most amazing unicorn’, yes, she definitely is. What a perfect way for this book to end.
#FriendsToLovers #Erotica 5 STARS Book three in the series is a standalone of Josh and Nina’s story and ends with a HEA. This series can be read in any order, but since several characters overlap all three books, readers may find the most enjoyment reading the series in order. It is written in first person from an alternating dual POV. Josh and Nina have been friends forever. They know each other better than anyone else in their lives. They have shared the good and the bad along the way. The only thing they have never done is cross the line. Even though they both harbor more than friendly feelings and curiosity for each other. Until they do. This series is HOT, HOT, HOT! Josh decides that Nina needs to be a little more selfish in pursuit of her pleasure and a list is born. They check items of her list and in the process have some kindle-melting scenes. The story is more than just the hot times though. I love their friendship. I love how they support each other. I love that they can have fun together doing everything, not just the hot times. I really liked how this story dives into family dynamics. Nina’s relationship with her family has shaped her and how she lives her life. Josh’s relationship with his dad has left him with his own baggage that he has to overcome to get to their HEA. Deeper than most erotica I have read, this was a thoroughly enjoyable read. I think I may need to reread this series every year. Authors Note: Honey Do is a scorching hot standalone m/f erotic romance with a little m/f/m/m treat. If you like friends-to-lovers and menage, this one’s for you. This story contains no cheating, and an HEA is guaranteed!
Pocas veces he visto un friends to lovers tan soso, tan poco romántico. Estuvo bien, sobre todo porque pagué cero euros. Yo no me lo compraría por su precio real, ni tampoco me anima a leer más de la autora. Ahora mismo la quito del lector, que me ocupa memoria.
I personally have not read the other two stories in this series and although i felt I had missed something, it did not really detract from the story.
Nina and Josh have been friends since forever (from starting school together) but both have had issues with their parents. Nina has not followed what was expected of her by her parents and they in turn make have made her feel like a failure. Josh's Dad has been unfaithful throughout his marriage and he told women he loved them constantly.
Josh doesn't believe he can fall in love because of his father's behaviour and Nina doesn't think she deserves love because of her parent's expectations.
When Josh challenges Nina to put herself first they move from friends to friends with benefits but both realise they have stronger feelings for the other than they want to admit.
I have to say I was jumping up and down and punching the air when Josh decided to give Nina's parents so home truths but for Nina to hear that was the turning point they both needed.
This was a great read that I quickly finished because I couldn't put it down. I could definitely use a cold shower at times, and I need to find me some twins!

And yes, I probably did type that a bit ‘tongue in cheek’ as this book, this series, has delved into pleasure in a big way. What it also did was show connections above just the physical and together that made these reads phenomenal…
Nina and her parties were legendary and, up until now, her warmth and personality were part of those scenes. When she and her best friend forever Josh wake up after a night of imbibing they realize their friendship could be more. Something Nina never wanted to contemplate as she may lose her BFF after it all ended, and Josh – well, he was just ready to try…
What followed were best friends exploring what it would mean to be more. For and with each other. To enjoy all that meant and weather the storms when things got too close to the baggage they both carried.
I really enjoyed these stories of (un)reckless, heat-filled abandon and life well-lived. Each couple found each other through honesty and openness and Nina and Josh – well, I may just love them the most…
Josh and Nina have been friends forever, and Josh has been...pining after, shall we say? her since before the first book in this series. They're victims of the old we can't do anything more, because FRIENDSHIP idea, until Josh decides to (finally!) take things into his own...hands.
What follows is a book that--like the others in the series--is somehow both sweet and OMG-where's-my-fan? hot. I loved watching Nina, who's spent two books helping other couples find their way to HEAs through bedroom shenanigans finally have someone who was looking out for her wants and needs for a change. Josh was an amazing hero, always putting her first.
And yes, I do mean FIRST. ;)
If you've read the other two books in the series, you'll love seeing the couples show up here again--though if you're new to the series, you'll be fine too. Don't blame me, though, when you find yourself dying to know what they're talking about with elevators and windows...

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
I first heard about Tawna Fenske in August of 2015 when her book "About That Fling" was featured as a "Kindle First." I have fallen in love with the way that she tells a story. Her characters are fun, and even ones you may not like at first tend to grow on you. Since then, I have read anything that I have found by Tawna.
After being introduced to Nina and Josh in "Eye Candy," and then seeing more of their story in “Tough Cookie,” so I was excited to get a chance to read a story that was focused on them. Like that book, while it is an “erotic romance, I still enjoyed the actual storyline in the book.
I really liked that this booked seemed to have more depth than the other two. I got to know these characters in a deeper way than I did the characters in the first two books. I also enjoyed the storyline a whole lot more.
All in all, I really enjoyed this book series. Although this was my first time reading a series in this drama, and I can honestly say that I am excited to explore it a bit further.
**A received an advanced reader copy for my honest review**
This book was definitely my favorite out of the 3 book Sugar and Spice series. This series certinaly has more erotic content than Tawna’s previous books, but if you are into that type of read I think you’ll really like this. One of the things I appreciated most while reading this book was the heroine’s confidence with her own sexuality. It is too often not a good enough feature in books (female characters) that I read and I especially liked it in this book. It fit so well with both the characters and the plot. I also appreciated that while it is a friends to lovers story, it didn’t seem nearly as forced or contrived as that story line can sometimes seem during any type of romance read. I found the book to be very honest, and a great (and fun) setup for how the friends to lovers scenario evolved between the characters. If you think this is your type of read, I think you’ll really enjoy the hot and steamy content. It is definitely racier and still fun.
Josh and Nina's story was the finale to the Sugar and Spice series. I don't normally read much erotic romance but Tawna Fenske is one of my favorite rom com authors so I am glad that I ventured out of my normal reading comfort zone and read this trilogy of novellas. Josh and Nina have been supporting characters throughout the series. Best friends since childhood, they both have issues with their parents that has left them with some emotional baggage. They enter this story with a sexual bucket list of items that Nina desires and Josh plans to help her achieve. As their adventures begin their feelings for each other evolve as well. There's a lot of spice in Honey Do and if that isn't your cup of tea then I suggest reading some of Tawna Fenske's other books. It was told from dual POV and was hot with a capital H!
Pffew, hot! I loved this erotic romance. I loved when the insecurities of the past crept in and they both being able to get over them. Sign of good pen(wo)menship! Ms Fenske, I salute you, it’s a job very well done! I’ve wanted my best friend forever. I was really looking forward to this book. Couldn’t wait to read read Josh and Nina’s story. This book is the 3rd in the Sugar & Spice series and Tawna did not disappoint. Best friends since elementary school Josh & Nina were always careful not to give into their attraction to each other. Their relationship takes a turn when Josh decide to make Nina’s “Wishlist” and he’s offered to make her fantasies & pleasures cum true. As they go through their erotic adventures there’s also self discovery for both of them. Be ready for some hot erotica 🔥🔥 you have no idea WOW! I’m still fanning my self or...😉 Previous characters make an appearance and join in some fun too. I’ve enjoyed this series and the adventurous characters.
“Honey Do” is a spicy and erotic friends to lovers delight.
Nina and Josh have been best friends for years but have never crossed the line of something more. But when Josh helps Nina write her ultimate fantasy list. And offers to help her fulfill each wish.
Nina and Josh’s chemistry was super spicy and off the charts hot. I loved how they were truly friends first and never crossed the line until they were older and more experienced. I love how liberated and free Nina was and wasn’t afraid to express exactly what she wanted. Josh was just as great on how liberated he was and encouraged Nina to go after what she wanted. These three books in this series are interconnected and can definitely be read as standalone. All three have been spicy and have been great erotica reads.
Nina gets her story told and she’s matched with bff Josh, who’s just as free-spirited as she is. I love a great friends to lovers story, and Honey Do is just that…great! For me, it was the most emotional and heartfelt of the series. While you don’t have to read the others to enjoy this one, the characters throughout the series do interconnect. Nina supported the other couples through their own journeys and now they’re back to make her the center of attention, with Josh’s help and support. While way spicier that many of her other books, Tawna Fenske still writes engaging characters with great dialogue and fun friendships. Just a bit…kinkier! I hope she writes more like this in the future, as well as continuing her hysterical rom-cons. Best of both worlds!
YAY! In this 3rd book in the Sugar and Spice series by author Tawna Fenske, we finally get to see Nina and Josh get their Happily Ever After!!!
If you have read the previous books in the series, you know both of these characters, and how they fit into the friend group…however…you probably didn’t see what Josh sees in his best friend…she pleases others, and tends to not be so concerned about what she really needs or wants.
I liked seeing these two finally get over their fear of losing their friendship and taking their relationship to the next level. This is an erotic NSFW read that has M/F and a little added M/F/M/M. Pretty dang hot read!
I love the friends-to-lovers trope, especially the best friends. They know each other intimately and take things to another level of intimate. While both were known for their intimate love and weren't afraid to share it, Nina and Josh never wanted to cross that line with each other and wreck their good thing. I loved that Josh decided that Nina needed to take more than give and they decided to have him help her out. They both had issues that needed to be worked on and I love that they went through them together, with help from a few others. This book had the heat but it also had a lot of love too.
Awesome read. I love Nina and Josh’s story. They have been best friends since third grade. They went through high school, college and relationships with others. But never had a relationship with each other because they worried it would ruin their best friend relationship. They each had family issues. She always trying to make and please others because her parents didn’t think she did exceptional in her life. And he couldn’t love anyone because of his cheating father. This is a sexy read with lots of spice between them and eventually they find their HEA.
"A friendship like ours-a love like ours-there's not a damn thing that can screw that up."
I enjoyed each book in Tawna Fenske’s Sugar & Spice series, but Honey Do was my favorite! Tawna introduced Nina and Josh in book one, Eye Candy and escalated their participation in…activities in Tough Cookie. I love a heartfelt friends-to-lovers romance, and Honey Do is one of the swooniest and Spiciest! Tawna turns up the heat in this low-angst, bucket list-fulfilling, sizzling hot romcom. Nina loves to help others live out their wildest fantasies, but what satisfies her needs? What feeds her soul? Josh, hot architect and best friend extraordinaire is determined to find out…with extensive, hands-on research. Josh is the ultimate alpharoll; kind romantic in the streets, attentive and commanding in the sheets. If you like seductive and sweet heroines, smoldery & swoon-worthy heroes, and adventurous sexcapades, add Honey Do to your TBR! Better yet, get the entire Sugar and Spice series!
I had a hard time with this book and didn’t end up finishing it. I felt that the content at the beginning was very rushed. Also, Nina’s openness about her sexuality and dare I say, addiction to sex was weird to me. I’m all for owning your sexuality, but the way that she talked about it so freely and did stuff publicly didn’t seem to fit. This also made me question her relationship with her supposed best friend Josh. They didn’t seem at all like best friends. Overall, I wasn’t a fan.
It was great to get the whole scoop on Josh and Nina. These two have been friends for so long and are fighting their attraction, because they don't want to ruin their friendship. When Josh tells Nina he will help her with her list of her fantasies that focus on her things change between them. Josh makes sure Nina feels valued like she deserves. Josh talks to his dad and learns more about his dad and himself. Josh is there to support Nina. This was a really good book! Really enjoyed this series!!
...there’s never a shortage of couples looking to spice up their relationship. Just call me the spice girl.
“Good?” Another laugh escapes. “Is chocolate lava cake good? Is fancy champagne good? Are multiple orgasms good?” Josh lifts an eyebrow. “These feel like trick questions.”
I’m not even sure what he’s asking, but I’d let him lick jelly from my ear if he wanted.
My Review:
This sizzled or at least simmered on every page with writing so erotic my Kindle seemed to steam over, or maybe that was the perspiration dripping off of me during perusal. Nina was such a sensual creature she was porn star material, and her bucket list certainly was.
This was an easy read but the whole story is focused only on her “list of fantasy”. It was a bit shallow for me but fun. I did start to get bored during the sexy scenes because I thought it was all I was going to read, but the main characters did seem to connect at a deeper level and, though only explored at surface level, the impacts of family expectation. I’m not accustomed to this type of novel, though it gave me a break from my more serious reads.
