Montana Pines Summer Love

Rate this book
It’s never too late to start over.

WENDY THOMPSON, manages the Pine Meadows Resort in the mountains near the small town of Pine Meadows, Montana. She’s lived at the resort her entire life, inheriting the manager job from her late father. She’s always been too busy to waste time looking for romance. She’s content to live her life with only her small Australian shepherd, Chase, to keep her company on cold mountain nights.

Millionaire Real Estate mogul, BRYCE BUFFINGTON, just inherited Buffington Properties from his father. From his high rise office in downtown Boston, he struggles to decide which of their worldwide properties to liquidate. Most obvious solution? Sell the small Montana resort to help with the expenses of the larger ones in Paris and London.

When Bryce embarks on a trip to Pine Meadows Resort to assess its value, he finds Wendy to be not at all what he expected. She’s so much more, with her sparkling personality, wholesome good looks, and positive outlook on life. As the attraction between the two of them sizzles, both must decide where their true priorities lie. Can they take a chance on love or will the distance between them prove to be too great of an obstacle?

Find your home in Pine Meadows, Montana-where everyone feels like family.

This was my first book by Jill Haymaker and now I want to read everything she wrote!! Talk about the perfect escape. The setting was gorgeously described, and I felt like I was in the middle of the Montana forest in the Fall. I'm definitely going to plan a trip there in the future.

I'm 54 and this is one of the few times I've read a book in which the characters were actually close to my age. It was refreshing! The characters were all so real that when I finished reading, I missed them. It's so much easier to identify with characters who are experiencing things we've been through...divorce, choosing not to be married until later in life, overcoming the obstacles of meeting someone that leads a very different lifestyle, etc.

Wonderful story that I think everyone would love. Happy reading!

I loved it !!

Thanks for writing a book about a couple that are 60 finding love. This was a very good book. Their were so many things to love about this story. This is the second book in the series and they are best read in order because people from the other books are mentioned. Wendy was the manager of the lodge that Bryce’s company owned. They had met years ago when his parents stayed at the resort. It took Bryce awhile but he just couldn’t get Wendy off his mind and thought of her a lot. Wendy had had a crush on Bryce for years but he had left gone to Boston got married and had kids. She stayed single and ran The Montana Pines. His daughter almost ruined everything! I can’t say more without giving away spoilers. I highly recommend this book and the entire series!

Never to late to find your soulmate

I enjoyed the love story of seasoned adults finding their soulmate later in life. The story held my attention from the first chapter to the end. The description of Montana were excellent, makes you want to visit and get outside to clean air and nature. Another excellent book from Ms. Haymaker, can’t wait for the next book in this series.

Sweet romance

The story is engaging and the author was very detailed with the surroundings which was very romantic . Wendy was a hard work women who deserved to find the love of her life. Bryce was able to be open to love someone who was very different but who was honestly in love with him and not his money. Loved the book!

The engaging characters and the fast-paced plot absorb readers into the world of Pine Meadows Resort, and keeps readers turning pages quickly. Readers will want to read all the novels in the Montana Pines series!

Bryce & Wendy

What a beautiful story! Captivating from start to finish! I loved how Wendy had a crush on Bryce when they were kids, but she didn’t tell him anywhere in the story (unless I missed it). I’m ready to move to Montana! 5 Stars!

Has sex stuff

It was a good story until then. Sorry, cannot abide ungodly sexual union in books, or elsewhere. Off-putting. Will delete it.
