Book four of the Abandoned Crowned series. I couldn’t wait for its release, and was not disappointed! The novels are more character driven than plot driven, but I have never read a series that has me more emotionally invested in the characters journeys. The character growth and development is second to none and I love getting multiple points of views with new characters pov each book. Highly recommend for lovers of dark fantasy!

Mind freaking blown! Shattered is book four in the Abandoned Crown Series. And what a roller-coaster it was! I was so excited for this one to be released and I was not disappointed!!
Cerryn has such a talent for writing deeply tragic and complex characters that are so uniquely individual. You can't help but fall in love with some (yet despise the others wholeheartedly)

Holy. Sh*t. I don’t think I can put into words how much I loved this book.
This is the 4th book of the Abandoned Crown series, and 100000% the best. I could not put this down - even trying to read a page or half a page if I couldn’t have a reading session. This was a very long read - 700+ pages and my kindle said the average read time was around 15hrs, but I managed it in just over 8.
We continue to delve into the Ariad and Rak world. I thoroughly enjoyed learning about Christa and Peters past, as well as The General’s and Sienna. I found myself feeling bad for The General, and absolutely loved gaining more of an insight into his twisted mind. I loved seeing Christa mature and grow into her role, and can’t wait to see how this continues. She leaves us with a huge cliffhanger, which I was not expecting in the slightest.
Then comes Cerynn. I wouldn’t be able to post my true thoughts about her online - so I’ll make them PG. I CAN NOT STAND HER. I have never read and hated a character so much. She is a jealous and manipulative swine, and a truly awful person. I wouldn’t bat an eyelid if she was to “disappear”. She finally discovers her power, and yet still continues to mess everything up by being a selfish idiot.
Cerynn McCain has a created a truly wonderful and twisted world. I adore this series and they are 100% a future re-read. I can’t wait for the next one! (Especially after that cliffhanger.)

I’m at a loss for words for how amazing this book was. Shattered is the fourth book in the Abandoned Crown Series by Cerynn McCain
I think the thing I loved the most about this book was the portrayal that no one truly has pure motivations. Every time you’d feel like a character was doing something out of good or evil, you’d be quickly proven the flip side of their actions and how their actions would benefit themselves. I truly felt each character fully came to life because of their unique actions which was impacted by detailed histories.
I also LOVED the way that class differences is represented in this book. The descriptions are relatable and highlight how something that simple can tear us apart and make us believe things which aren't true.
I am so incredibly in love with this series and so freaking thankful to Cerynn for having written it. Please give these books a chance because they have definitely changed me for the better.

This is the fourth book in the series named ABANDONED CROWN. It's a dark, torturing, soul-marking and tragic book with multiple POVs (5 to be exact).
It is filled with so much pain, torture, trauma, tragedies, humiliation and every dark emotion humanly possible. I have no idea how someone is able to write like this without breaking down.
This is a beautiful soul-shattering book that every bookworm must read.

Well she has done it again! Another fantastic edition to this dramatic and intoxicating series of books! Just when I think i know where the story is going, i am completely knocked off of my feet by the twists.
Cerynn McCain is a writer to watch out for. The magical, thrilling and lets face it a little terrifying world that she has created just keeps developing with each book.
I love these characters so much and I need to know what happens!!!!!!

Another amazing book! Cerynn McCain has quickly become one of my all time favorite authors. She has dreamt up an entire world, new race of magical people, language and culture. I love the multiple points of view and getting insight into each character in their own voices. A must read series for anyone who enjoys dark fantasy! Each book in the series just gets better and better.

I'm just speechless! The first 3 books were good. But this book took it to a whole new level. I didn't think it was possible for me to have so many emotions while reading. I didn't think I could have a love/hate over so many characters at once. All of their journeys are a roller coaster of emotion. I am going to be impatiently waiting for the next book!
