silly storyline
This storyline was ridiculous and immature and disrespectful to your readers. We deserve a book that is readable not something so tired and silly, just so you can just continue the series…college graduates gets a job as a nanny…does get along with the father…loves the daughter…Father knows his daughter doesn’t like him…so he sneaks into the nanny’s room to sex her and her pregnant and she doesn’t know who he is? So dumb I gave up.

Kindle Unlimited is the Best/Worst thing that ever happened to me. Now I read unhinged romances like this!
Romance in the traditional space has been severely lacking when it comes to alphas heroes. Thank God for indie romances becuase I have missed these over the top men! So, once again the crazy man is in the Irish Mafia and becomes a goner over his nanny but their union is doomed becuase appearantly the Irish Mafia is crazy racist. Heavyn is super sweet, if not naive virgin heroine who is lonely since she doesn't have much family. Our Hero is newly released from prison and tryin to get back on his feet and reconnect with his young daughter.
Rian was such an unhinged man. I won't spoil it for anyone but this man is certifiably crazy. This book is really hot and full of drama and I would *caustiously* reccomend to fans of mafia/crime romances, but please check for content warnings.

Not your usual surrogate romance!
**Read as an ARC
My thoughts on the characters: Rian is definitely a different breed of Murray than his brothers. Heavyn is exactly the kind of woman that Rian and his daughter needed.
My thoughts on the plot: This plot of Rian doing the completely most in order to get what he wants, was what made this book entertaining.
My thoughts on pacing: Things went a bit faster than normal, but that wasn't a bad thing.
What I liked: I loved Heavyn, because she was definitely not a damsel in distress. She was a fighter and was not intimidated by Rian. I loved how she and Tegan connected and how Heavyn didn't allow Rian to skimp on his fatherly duties.
What I didn’t like: The kidnapping... it is an overdone premise of any story. And definitely was in this story, At least Heavyn didn't just sit back and wait to be rescued.
What I loved: Heavyn and Tegan's relationship. Given all that Tegan had gone through, I was glad she wasn't a bratty and difficult kid toward Heavyn.
Conclusion: As Mafia romances go, this one was a bit less intense. The sex scenes were a bit of a departure from the other books, and more interesting. I definitely recommend this book.
*Spoiler alert: there's a Jacob's ladder involved. 😳😬

The Boston Irish mafia just keeps getting better
Rian and Sunshine are similar to their names and are definitely opposites; yet they attract. Both characters need each other to be whole and this makes their love such a beautiful story.
This author continues to get better and better with their writing of this crime family. It’s absolutely beautiful The words that are laid in this book.
This brother, Rian, is now my absolute favorite. I enjoyed that neither character is perfect but somehow Rian and Sunshine are perfect for one another.
But the flaws they have make them tragic, but also so memorable. I’m ready to read the next one.
Rian is definitely a book boyfriend! I hope you enjoy as much as I did.
I will not promise that there aren’t some typos, and I did have a continuity issue in the story and some questions. But they’re some minor compared to the love that I have of face characters.

Open love…
I really enjoyed Rian and Heavyn’s love story. It was a most unusual start to a story. I like how he made her feel beautiful despite her size. He told her he loved plus sized women. He built up her self esteem. I like that she was able to get to his sensitive side without making him feel like he wasn’t a man. She helped him to talk about the pain he carried. He was able to build his relationship with his daughter. Lastly I really enjoyed their sexual relationship. It was really hot, steamy and sizzling.🔥🔥🔥I had to take a break because it had me a little hot and bothered. Loved it. Ms. Jamila your books don’t disappoint. Looking forward to the next one.

Another Great One
This was no disappointment. I loved Heavyn and Rian’s relationship and the fact that she got him to improve his relationship with his daughter and he got her to open up to love. Seems like each book is better than the last and this one was. Wish there was an epilogue so we would know if Heavyn got pregnant a second time and glad to see editing issues fixed. Looking forward to book four.

Get it Rian
Rian and Heavyn story was off the chain. I don't know if the other one will top this one. Rian is the sh** and he is all man but Heavyn is all the woman he needs and a whole lot more. I loved them and everything they went through just to really be happy was heart breaking. Tegan has been through so much and to finally get the love from her dad is what she has been waiting on. I can't wait to see more of there story.

When Heavyn was first introduced, I loved that she was a strong black woman. She was a perfect match for Rian until Rian professed his love for her. Then, her self-doubt surfaced, and that got on my nerves.
Heavyn redeemed herself when her and Tegan were taken. She lioness came through as she protected her family.
I'm glad Rian, Heavyn, and Tegan got their HEA.

Loved It!!
Out of the first three books… book 3 by far was my absolute favorite!!! Rian and Heavyn were the best match out of all the brothers! She stood up for him despite how she felt towards Rian. He didn’t let her size and race interfere with how he felt for her. The wait for Heavyn to say she loved him took a toll on him but he waited to hear it and that was all he needed… along with having his very own family!

Very Romantic
Finally a more realistic female character. A full figure woman and a man who spores her natural full curves. He encouraged her to never doubt her body and her natural curves. Also she got to see him as his true self and appreciate him as the handsome, controlling and dominating person he was.

Okay!!
I thought I was in love with Darragh Murray, but Rian Murray had taken his place in my heart. Rian is my kind of man. Alpha, possessive and protective. I love how he learns to be more “human” after he gets out of prison. I love how he loves his daughter and his woman Heavyn.

Commen sense trumps degrees
Heaven CANNOT be that damn dumb. He basically told you who he was, when he said you can't wake up his daughter. Now listen I'm not the sharpest but even I figured out what he was throwing and caught it. Authors please stop it, either these female leads are dumb as dirt, irritating, irrational, or easy.

Seems like each story gets more smutty because sheesh.
I didn't really like how it started but considering the ML personality I'm not surprised and Heavyn seems to be into the Dom Sub thing.... This was wild idk if the piercings are painful or hot p.s cover is still misleading

Taming the Beast
Rian is an Ex-con with a penchant for killing. The new nanny he needs for his daughter Teagan is stubborn, educated and annoyingly strong willed. This is why he wants her.

Slow start
This was definitely a dark romance but I like it. It had a slow start although intense. Ryan is a very intense but I understand why as the story goes on. I loved Heavyn, I just wished she had a little bit more back bone but it was a great read and the sex scenes were deffff 🌶️🌶️🌶️🥵

A happy ending for Silent Mobster and his Surrogate.
Another good book by Miss Jasper. I really like that Heavyn was not a pushover, she stood her ground and was able to get Rian to express his feelings for his daughter as well as her. I am glad they got their happy ending.

This was a very lovely story. Brian fell in love hard , just like is other two brothers. Heavyn is such a good person. She loves Teagan, Rian's daughter, just like she gave birth to her.

Was a great read. I love how her books are short, but not too long or dragged out with unnecessary details not related to the main characters. The spicy scenes are always HOT!! Really enjoy how all the books connect too.

Incredible!
I'll read that one again and again. That was fabulous and it kept me on my toes. I read it so fast I couldn't put it down.Rian was so misunderstood derstood it was sad. But his Heavyn loved and cared for him. Loved it

Different
Facebook was very different. I never read a book that was this dark before and I must say I actually did enjoy it. I'm going to continue the series cuz it seem like it's getting better and better if you're into dark romances I would say this book is for you.

Wonderful
As always it was wonderful! I think I'm biased when it comes to jamila jasper. LOL! I've read mostly everything she's written. I don't particularly like Mafia books but hers are worth reading.
