Thought provoking Sci-Fi tale. Timepieces was recommended to me by an author friend, and honestly, I had no clue what it was about. I kind of figured maybe time travel, but since my friend hasn’t steered me wrong yet I borrowed a copy on Kindle Unlimited and settled in for a quick read of a very interesting short story/novella. As I was reading this story, I was reminded of Fahrenheit 451 and how the fireman’s eyes were opened after reading a book. In this case the awakening came as a result of the birth of Jack’s children. The development of the story and the overall premise made for a Science Fiction tale that was well worth reading.
