As partners at the Portland PD, Kylie and Terrin's relationship at work only seems to strengthen their relationship outside of it, and Terrin has become an invaluable addition to the police force with his hacking abilities. In fact, life together in Maine couldn't be better.
That is, until Ronnie Walker shows up with a new assignment and a need for Terrin's skills to stop a crime ring in Boston involved with cargo theft and with possible ties to terrorism.
But when a surprising twist in their investigation has the cargo theft ring thinking Kylie is the genius car hacker, Kylie and Terrin find themselves navigating a whole new set of obstacles in yet another FBI investigation.
I love how she picks up where the last book left off. She does a great job building each character. The book flows in such a way that it keeps you hooked until the end. I would say this book is for adult audiences. Even though this is a Christian novel there are still themes that make it for older audiences. I gave the book a five star rating for the way she built the story. I love this series and can't wait to read more.
The characters in the first two are so well-rounded, and the story lines have been great. The humor is a lovely surprise. I'd love to know what happens next. Excellent reads, both, I will recommend these books to my reading family and friends. Thank you.
