The First Wave

Rate this book
A devastating injury ended Jerell Duncan's professional football career. It sent him spiraling as Rell had to find other ways to occupy his time. Football was life and he wasn't sure how to keep going. Once retiring and battling a deep depression, he found a passion for entrepreneurship.

He had a lot of time on his hands and reconnecting with his kids was his top mission. Everything was looking up until a virus came to disrupt everything. Life as everyone knew it changed overnight.

Everyone was at a standstill and there was time to pause and reflect. Realize what's important. Through the devastation, there were bright spots. Like finding love, reconnecting with family, and finding peace.

Keeping the businesses afloat, finding new business ventures, and giving back helped Rell get through the first wave. There were a lot of obstacles, backstabbing, and tough moments, and the end didn't seem near. Surviving the first wave was no easy feat.
