House Claden’Du has declared war against the Matron Council of Oshara.
But now comes the hard part.
My House and I must gain enough support from the other Houses to take out Vhondryl, Matron of Station One and head of the Council. We’ll need resources, soldiers, and we’re up against the clock since Lake Subata continues to rise and threaten all of Oshara.
In the midst of all this, I must complete my Wizard training so I can help my House to the best of my abilities.
This ended so well, to be honest I wished the book went another 50 pages just so I could be greedy and ready more about papa Fynn and his brood 😂. He’s certainly a rolling 🪨…. 😉 this series, although short was so well written.. jacobs always brings us high valued entertainment and glorious content. I truly loved this series. I do wish we had more closure though with the other females especially with the changeling and the baker… you know there was a spark 🔥 there. I wanted to see who ended up with who, I wanted to see Fynn go back to the wizard town and lose his mind and buy items and explore… I wanted to read about so much. Although the ending was great we were shortchanged a bit. Still a 5 star ⭐️ read.
So, it's over. I gotta say, it felt rushed overall, the lead up to this. I mean it helped that the antagonists were playing checkers while the protagonist played chess.
Fynn gets extra OP. Magic becomes extra OP. It was a kind of soft system before so not surprised.
Overall it was okay. Lots of pregnancy smut if you're into that. While it feels rushed it's honestly for the best, if the series was drawn out any more I fear things would've gotten really stale. Was worth the KU time I used to read the series, though definitely not a priority.
Loving this series, and have always had an interest in Drow since I started playing D&D.
And Logan Jacobs did an amazing job building the world, culture and society of this series, with amazing characters, brilliant story and with political intrigue, assassinations and some good old Viking style "raiding".
I loved reading this series, so I am a bit sad and disappointed to see it end here on book 6. But that doesn't mean I can't enjoy it anytime I want!
I feel my words will fall far short in describing the climactic end to what is simply a superb story. Every moment spent reading this series was a joy every thrilling chapter truly made for a grand adventure! I'm always saddened to see a series end but I cannot thank the authors enough for the joy their work brought me! Do yourself the favor and pick this series up!
One of the better series I've read. It was a bit different from the other series I've read from this author, but it was imaginative and exciting! It really pulled me into the underworld of the Drow. My mind has been filled with the wonderful world of Oshara.
As always full of intrigue, action, adventures, magic and great fun adult fantasy activities throughout!!! I for one can't wit to see why this author comes up with next!!!
Another wonderful story by Logan Jacobs. If he isn't careful, he may become one of my favorites. Excellent story and characters, I love the setting and I hope to see more of from Mr Jacobs soon.
I really enjoyed this series. It's to bad it had to end but it was a great ending. It must be hard to keep coming up with the stories but I'm glad he does. He does a fantastic job of it .
The whole series is absolutely amazing but the epilogue in this book feels a little bit rushed wish we had a bit more information to close out the series
It was a good ending to one of Logan jacobs better series. Tied off the loose ends even if the pace was a bit rushed. Can’t wait to for his next new series
This was a very enjoyable series, and like all series, it must come to an end, and this is...an...end.
Unfortunately it reads a lot like the author got busy with another series, hired an intern to "write a book that wraps everything up", then published it site unseen. It's rushed, confusing, and jarring.
That being said, it wasn't outright unpleasant, but if you read the first five books and were wondering if you should read this one too, the answer is probably "no, not really". Just get a warm drink, go sit somewhere comfortable, and spend 20 minutes carefully imagining what you think a good ending for this series should look like. Who dies? Who lives? Who gets a hapily ever after? How should the plots resolve?
Whatever you just came up with is almost certainly more sensible and enjoyable than this book, sadly.
