Okay Clark's of Northshire Bend. I see you! This prelude definitely has me intrigued so, I'm looking forward to getting to know each one of the Clark brothers. Pretty sure the ladies of Genesis Rising are going to be the love interests for Malik, Langston, and Tristian. I can't wait to seeing how their relationships will play out. Fredrick is trash and I hope Malik and Derek put them paws on him. I know he’s their daddy but, he deserves it. Because, what you won't do is disrespect my mama. Destiny was just out right triflin’. She deserves an Oscar for the lies she told and I hope Gerald gives her somethin’ penicillin can’t cure. And, Mama Cynthia betta have a HEA at the end of this series. She more than deserves it. The Clark's of Northshire Bend was a great intro to this series. Thank God I waited to read this book. Now, I can slide right on into the next one when it releases in two days. 😉

Just a taste

I've been waiting on this series for a while now. I think that in order to fully appreciate SNN work, you have to pay attention to all the characters in her books bc they're all dynamic and can have their own book or series eventually.

Nonetheless this was a great intro to The Clark Brothers. So ready for more. Let's get it.

Excited about this series featuring the Clark brothers. I really hope this series isn’t drawn out like the rose and the valentines series. Ms. Stephanie, This prelude is hot! I felt every scene in this quickie. From the stalker in DC to the cheater getting caught. This book played with my emotions FR FR.
Okay now that I am hooked on this, we need "His Main Attraction" real quick. Please do not make us wait to long.

Intrigue anyone

Three of the most dangerous and sexy men alive are introduced in this prequel. Langston, Tristan and Malik are walking sex on legs. However their lives are filled with challenges. Great teaser that has me wanting more.

Honestly, it didn’t add anything, and gave a lot of the story away. I read it cause I couldn’t not read the rest of the series, and not read this. The series would feel incomplete. lol

This famous family still has much drama!
These handsome over achieving men who are the Clark brothers of the Multimillionaire Clark family in Chicago are home from their high profile jobs to take a much needed break when they are blindsided by their dad declaring his love for a woman not their mother and proclaiming her to be the only woman he has ever loved. Prior to this one of these handsome Clark men in an effort to surprise his latest girlfriend, was himself surprised when he came upon her being intimate with another man! Just when another of the Clark brothers was about to ask the woman he had pined over out on a date, he saw on television his father's betrayal of his mother even though the two were divorced! I can hardly wait to read the rest of these stories to see just what started this downward spiral in the lives of their parents for them to be where they currently find themselves! I enjoyed this prelude very much! I am currently reading Arch Langston and Destiny's story! Stephanie, you write some awesome stories Sis! I love this story.

Awesome

OMG! This is a thoroughly entertaining book. .The brothers has a connection so strong that even though their careers are different but you can sense much about the passion each one is strong. I have highly enjoyed this book, it's short and a prelude to some fantastic stories that I already feel will keep me up way past my bed time and will be the first thing I pick up the next day. This could quickly become one of my favorite series. I have enjoyed the humor and also, the story line with this short story. It's so passionate; it builded you up and didn't fizzle out. However, the interaction between the brothers is explosive in its own right these guys match each other in wits and passion they constantly strike sparks off each other. I'm so excited to read the other stories!

oh it’s about to be some ish

It’s about to be some ish going down in more ways then one! The father has lost the admiration of two sons and his latest stunt may lose the other two. One brother is returning stateside from a mission that has him taking a long leave and reflecting over his life. Another brother is not down with love - he wants no part of it and all that it entails, but the reason behind these feelings are just under the surface and literally pushed back into his life. The other brother is all for love and settling down even though he has been unsuccessful at it and at choosing the right woman. He stumbles upon a situation that may have put him in the not down with love party too.

Looking forward to reading how these Clark men handles life, love and family!

My Sentiments:
This was an excellent prequel story of the Clark family...Malik, Langston, Tristan, Cynthia, and Fredrick. With each of the boys having such unique and challenging jobs, what could go wrong for them in their love life, where secrets start to come out all over the place? And what's up with Fredrick? The reader will have to be ready for quite an intense journey, as this story will keep one turning the pages wanting more.

WHOA! !

I’m so glad that as soon as I finish this review of Amazing prelude , I can roll right into “His Main Attraction” I have been swept off my feet by these three Clark brothers and I only had a peek at them. I’m sure the oldest brother even though he’s married has an interesting story as well.😊❤️. I’m hopeful that Langston will find someone who is worthy of his Love 🥹 I can tell Malik’s and Tina already have some smolder chemistry. Can’t wait to go on their adventure.

Now I want put on record that I am already giving the side eye to the patriarch of the Clark family 🤦🏽‍♀️. Him and his televised performance 😏 why couldn’t he have waited to tell his son first.

I listened to the audio version of this book. The female narrator was fine. I hate to say it, but the male narrator had me losing complete focus of the storyline. I had to start the book over a couple of times because I found my mind wandering. It took me until around chapter 5 or 6 to be able to focus in on the story.

After that, what was going on with the Clarks became interesting. It does end with a cliffhanger, but, after all, it was only a prelude. 2.5 Stars!

I have the audiobook for the next book in the series. I am a little hesitant to start it and I am thinking about just buying the ebook. I would hate to be disappointed in the story because I was not vibing with narration from the male narrator.

Families Drama

Well here we go on a ride again The clarks of Northshire Bend. Wow who would know if it was start off with family The respect they have for him as a father With the boys take their mother side or they father's side. How can he do this to these boys and know how they love their mom. Will they hurt him or Are They will this own him... Will the twins hurt him or all the brothers hurt him or will they mother take him for everything he have. Will marriage Proposal hurt him or destroy the The respect they have for him as a father. I can't wait for the next chapter and will This Discard them from love was for fan in love. Great stories. But to short.

If you haven’t read this Novella that introduces the Clark men of Northshire Bend (Chicago, IL), then you are not starting your New Year’s reading on the right track. You know the Valentines; you met the Roses, now it’s time to meet the Clarks! Derek James Clark (You met him in HER NAUGHTY SUITOR), Malik Anthony Clark-CIA (dangerous and delicious); Special Agent Tristan Neil Clark, ( handsome and deadly) and Langston Jamal Clark, Homeland Security ( hot and lethal).
Don’t sleep on this book. It’s a great intro to this illustrious family. You can thank me later!

Great book!!

I very much enjoyed this prelude to the series. I think that reading this first to get a sense of who Langston, Malik and Tristan are will make the entire series that much more enjoyable. My mind is already wrapped around who these men are and why they feel about relationships the way they do.
There's really no spicy scenes, but honestly that didn't matter to me at all. I was 100% hooked the whole way through.
I randomly picked this book and I'm so glad I did. Can't wait to read the rest of the series!
