The Beast and his Little Bird.

A loner, more at home in the woods than with people, Malachi Temple wants nothing more than to be left alone on his small farm. The only thing he wants is a good strong drink, and perhaps a willing submissive to stalk and chase to his primal heart’s content.

But life has other plans for this gruff, irritable beast. Plans in the form of a girl he has been assigned to marry. Will he be able to fulfill his part of the brother’s plans, keeping his new bride safe from the dangers mounting in Zion as events begin to spiral out of control? Happiness seems impossible as they face near insurmountable challenges.

A bit of a dreamer, and a loner in her own right, Eden has always resented her lack of freedom in Zion. Wanting only a life of her own making, she finds herself begrudging her new task in life: to be sold as breeding stock, forced to fulfill Zion’s vision for her as a godly and submissive housewife to one of the Temple sons.

As the new wife of Malachi Temple, she quickly learns he is nothing like she expected a husband to be. Evasive and unapproachable, he does not make marriage easy. Unlike anything she could have expected, Eden’s world is turned on its axis as she uncovers the truth behind the Temple Brother’s secrets. What are they planning? And what part is she to play in it?

Will they find their way together, or will Zion succeed in tearing everything apart in the end?

This enticing game of cat and mouse will lead us to the thrilling conclusion to the Temple Brother’s series!

5 Stars for Malachi by Elle Sparrow

This is the 5th and final book of the Temple Brothers. I absolutely loved this series. It had every element that intrigues me. I loved the brothers, the wives, the relationships and even the kinks. I am actually very sad that there are no more Temple brothers. I need some mystery siblings or different perspectives to happen. I will definitely have some reading withdrawal.

As for Malachi, this book, although a bit shorter than the rest, has so much going on. Everything comes full circle and our questions get answered. I think we got even more than expected! Pay attention to trigger warnings. There is definitely a lot going on.

Malachi, of course, is the last Temple brother to be married. After turning down every marriage opportunity presented to him, he had to finally take his turn to move forward with the brother's plan. He didn't want to marry anyone, he didn't think he deserved or would find a loving marriage like his brothers, but he did his part.

Throughout the series, we have read about different portions of each brother's wedding day. I was so happy that Elle went back to the original description in the church basement from the first two books. (If you don't know what I am talking about, go read Leviticus and every other brother!) I loved Malachi the second he made the Elders uncomfortable in that room.

Eden, was an unexpected surprise. She has such an innocence about her, with the need to explore and experience life, but brave beyond words. Almost like a Disney princess. I suppose Malachi is kind of a beast of a prince as well. What a combo! I think they were perfect for one another. She may still be a child to Malachi, but she proves that age doesn't matter if you know what you want. I also think her inexperience pairs well with his kink. A kink I did not expect, but highly enjoyed reading about.

When it came to ending the journey for the brothers, there was utter chaos that happened. The amount of things that I wish I could discuss... I just don't want to give anything away. There were so many things that I did not expect to happen. I loved it. As it always happens, things do not go as planned. So what happens when the brother's plan falls apart and they need multiple backup plans?! Thank goodness for timing and the wives... and just wait until your read what happens with Eden!

I can not recommend this series enough. Malachi was the perfect ending to a series. We got our happy ending and saw a bit into the future! If you are looking for a good read, start with Leviticus and end with Malachi. You will not regret it. Plus, these men are amazing! Join our cult lol.

Y’all this book wooooo 🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵. This whole series is honestly *chefs kiss*. I was lucky enough to get an arc for this final installment of The Temple Brothers from @authorellesparrow . 5 books about 5 brothers each with their own brand of kink. Each going through with an arranged marriage and plotting together to get out of their cult religion! When I tell you I devoured this book! I read it in a night! I will say I wasn’t sure I would be able to get into Malachi’s kind of kink but dang those scenes were hot!!! And I love love love Eden and how much of a badass she shows us she is. Everything with them trying to get out of Zion also had me going through a roller coaster of emotions! This book was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 for me I highly recommend! **check triggers before reading** Do yourself a favor and read this series! They are all available on KU with Malachi releasing on 12/30!!

Elle Sparrow has quickly become one of my favorite authors. I adore her and her writing beyond words. The Temple Brothers series is not for the faint of heart. Those alpha brothers will draw you in from page one. Malachi is no different. He is a man that likes his life to himself. He broody and grumpy and Eden is the merry ray of sunshine he didn’t know he needed in his life. The brother have a plan to leave Zion but plans and dreams are changing. The question is, will they be able to escape the stronghold of everything they have known even in knowing it is not right? Or will Zion win in the end? Grab this book to find out just how the story the ends. Follow the brothers on their quest for love, happiness and freedom to be who they are.

I was starting to get tired of this series and wanted to just finish it when I finally got to this book. Elle did a good job portraying a young immature woman as Eden’s character developed through the story. I enjoyed reading the relationship between her and Malachai grow and deepen. Of course, as with the previous books in the series I learned about another BDSM term, Primal Dom. And after care was again emphasized, how important it was. I just found it hard to believe that men like these brothers exist, men who actually lovingly and gently care for a woman after a vigorous round of sexual activity. In this book, for the first time, I got confused about the timing of things. On one morning Eden woke to find Kai had already dressed and gone outside to do his chores. Eden quickly dressed in some of his clothes to go help him. Her in his clothes turned him on so of course, he nails her, then orders her to go back to the house to do laundry while he finishes his outdoor tasks. Then his oldest brother, the traitor, calls saying he is coming over to talk to him. Kai panics thinking that Levi could have already come over and abducted Eden, so he runs into the house, searching for her in a panic only to find her in the shower. When he realizes she is safe and that he’d just shown her a vulnerable side of him, he tells her to finish her shower and he is going to prepare dinner for them. Dinner? I thought that it was morning, and that he’d invited his other brothers over that evening? It all confused me. Then, Talia being sick all the time because she was pregnant annoyed me. It has been proven WHY women get nauseated during the first three months of pregnancy is because of low blood sugar. So that if they eat little meals throughout the day, they will no longer be sick. For her to get sick after eating doesn’t fit the mold. I enjoyed the sex scenes in this book as much as I did in the first book, and unlike in the previous two books when I felt like I wanted the story to progress instead of slowing it down with the steamy stuff. When the story did progress at about the 75% mark, I didn’t like it. Even though it looked like the reverend and zion was going down, so were all the Temple boys and their wives. It wasn’t clear when the reverend told the wives that their husbands were dead that he was lying. To my relief, no one but the reverend and one elder he’d shot had died. I liked the wrap up with the FBI returning all the kidnapped girls to their families, and solving the mystery of all those. who had been kidnapped, and with all the brothers and their wives, post-Zion lives. What confused me was that the reverend pointed his gun at Ruth, fired and she went down, but that was never addressed in the book whether or not she was hit or it missed or what. Talia was the only one who was sent to the hospital because she almost lost her baby. What bothered me was the incorrect prison visitation description. I visited my husband in several different facilities while he served a sentence for 5 years. You don’t just show up randomly and announced your intentions to visit an inmate. There are specific visitation days and times where anyone on a preapproved list can visit but must go through heavy security screening first each time. And you don’t go in with an attorney. They are allowed to visit anytime but not allowed to bring family or friends. Lastly, I liked the resolution between Leviticus and his father and the description of how well everyone was doing, but I had questions not answered like what happened to the women, the wives of the elders? Still I liked the series and the brothers enough that I plan to eventually read the new series about the Temple brothers sex dungeon business they started.

WOW!!! What an ending to an amazing series!!
What a thrilling end to both this book and the series! All through the previous books, the author has teased the reader with so much more about Malachi, more-so that she did the other brothers in the previous books. So, to finally have Malachi’s story and the ending to this series together was – WOW!!!!! This book did not disappoint. In fact, when it all begins to come to “THE” end of either the brothers plans or the cult, the author send the reader on a rollercoaster of chapters full of drama and suspense. It really sucks the reader right in. I read the last bit of the book so fast, that I had to go back and read the last 8 chapters over again, but at a much slower pace just to make sure I did not miss anything. LOL.
This book explores a power dynamic that is not written about in this genre of books. In fact, I was not even aware of this dynamic until I read this book. But it was such a good story as Malachi and Eden fit together perfectly. They share the same dynamic even though Eden was not aware of it. The concerns Malachi has with his preferred lifestyle and Eden’s age quickly disappears and it becomes apparent that they have quickly fallen for each other. I loved that Malachi got his happy ever after because Eden is a perfect match for him. I was so glad to read that he found his perfect mate.
But for me, the bigger story is how the series ended with the evil cult everyone was born into. Like I said, the lead up to the gripping end to this series was a nail biter for sure. The author did such a good job of writing such a suspenseful, reading on the edge of your seat ending to this series. Each book and the entire series were very well-written. Each brother found his perfect mate in their own stories, but the bigger story that weaved throughout all the books - the cult was very well done! The author should be very proud of this series, and I strongly recommend you read it.

As soon as I knew this book was ready I started reading it right away and couldn’t stop reading or laughing like crazy! In the book we finally get learn/get know Kai aka Malachi which if you’ve read the only 4 he and his brothers and very close but he is one that is harsh and among others interesting things. I been hooked through the whole series which book is amazing but leave me wanting more right away. This one had me laughing so much Kai is so stubborn and has so many walls up so when he gets married to someone just as hardheaded with no problem to fight back it’s really funny,And is very strong independent woman who is very sassy who is not afraid to use it! With his kinks being so different from anything else plus the age gap among other things he tries really hard not to get too close to Eden. Just like the other 4 books there is so much to enjoy but this one in my opinion is a little harder understand/ comfort level. So be sure to read the warning page and make sure your okay with everything. We finally get to see how all they’re hard work pays off too. There is definitely mystery, steaming things between the amazing characters and so much more! Your won’t want to miss this book especially if love the storyline and even more all the characters in this amazing series! I for one hope there is more books to come with the awesome wonderful characters who I have feels like become family to me! Thank goodness there is a happy ending I was at the edge of my seat during some of it worrying and guessing what going to happen I almost cried. Lol I get to invested in books I read:).

•Arranged Marriage
•Age Gap
•Primal Play
•Check the tws

If you're a fan of primal play this is the book for you 🥵. Malachi is the second oldest and the last to go through with his arranged marriage. He also ends up married to the youngest wife, Eden who just turned 18 to his 32.

Malachi believed there is no one will ever be a match for him as a life long partner. He.goes through with his marriage to hold up his end of the Temple brother's plans to offer their wives a life outside of Zion. Where they can be free and not under the thumbs of misogynist men. Being as his wife is just barely an adult as he points out, he expects Eden to be a shy, timid girl who he can easily keep his grumpy walls up against. Imagine his surprise when he realizes she is a free spirit he likes to take off to run in the woods and meadow, especially in storms. She refuses to listen to anything he says and follows him around asking endless questions.

Malachi and Eden heat up the pages even though he does try to keep his distance from his young wife. She draws him in like a moth to flame until he gets burned lol. This book might not be for everyone as these two are like wild animals together.

There is so much Zion related to unpack starting with a change in Levi after his "trip". Then shutting out his brothers for weeks as well as Ruth separating herself from the other wives. Eden over hearing the plan and having to be filled in and everyone being watched. Things are wrapped up but the story was a little dragged out by the amount of sex scenes and secrets going on. This ends this series but apparently leads to a separate series that I'll be checking into.

Malachi is the last book of The Temple Brothers series of interconnected standalones. I do recommend that you read this series in order so that you understand the whole story that interconnected throughout these books. It is always bittersweet when you read the last book of a series. You can’t wait to see how it all ends but then you also don’t want it to end. I have fallen in love with all of these characters so much and I hate saying goodbye to them!

It is Malachi’s turn to get married and his chosen wife is Eden. She is a free spirit and feel one with nature. Malachi is grumpy and doesn’t want anything to do with a wife. But for the Temple brothers, plan to bring the cult down, to work then he must follow in his brother’s footsteps and marry. I loved that even though Malachi is twice Eden’s size she never fears him…even when he is chasing her through the woods at night. These two were so perfect for each other!

Since this is the conclusion to the series, we get more action and suspense. The women get to show how bada$$ they really are and not the weak women that Zion wanted them to be. I really am going to miss these characters but I’m very happy with how it all ended! I one hundred percent recommend this series!

The final book in the Temple Brothers series finally wraps up all the drama. Malachi is the second oldest of the brothers, and the one who fought getting married the hardest. Their plan to get out of Zion hit a snag when they found out what the Reverend and the Elders were doing to make money. Now they have to get the evidence to end the human smuggling ring without being caught. Malachi can't believe it when he finally ties the knot - with an eighteen-year-old. Eden is so far from the kind of woman he needs that it is almost funny. But his wife is surprise in more ways than one. She is not the scared little rabbit he was expecting. In fact, she has no problem challenging him. She is a wild child who loves the outdoors and can't wait to try new things, even if one of them is mucking stalls. But is she ready for The Beast?

Lots of drama in this one as the brothers struggle to put their plans in motion. Levi has a personality change that shocks everyone. Gideon loses it and almost gets them killed. Zeke is worried about Talia's pregnancy. The group has to make plans B,C, and D for their escape from Zion. In the end, everything will go wrong....

5 stars for the 5th and final book in the Temple Brother's series! This fantastic journey through kink not only is educative but also captivating as it weaves a well constructed and dastardly tale of religious corruption and cult behavior and the lengths one team of brothers will go to leave the Cult and save their true family.
Elle Sparrow's character's come alive as captivating, dominating, men who love with their entire hearts and Malachi is no exception. His kinky nature meets his match with the "fairy-like" Eden, who tempts his primal needs and the spice is next level.
It is also in this installment that we see the plan(?or is it THE PLAN?) reach it's level of execution---but, will the Temple brothers and their wives make it out of Zion alive and unscathed? Trust me, it's a wild and thrilling ride.
I received and ARC from the author but all views represented are my own and I am leaving this voluntarily.

Malachi is the final Temple brother who needs to help fulfill his brother's plans for getting away from the Zion cult with their handpicked wives. Being the loner and wanting nothing to do with anyone, he finds it harder to help fulfill his end of the plan until he meets Eden. Eden doesn't want anything to do with Zion or their future for her. When she's assigned to marry Malachi, she dreads the future she may have, until she finds out he's nothing like what she wanted. That's not even including the plans she finds out about with the Temple brothers.

This is the conclusion to the Temple Brothers series and it went out with a bang! The series has been consistently good with incredible writing and semi-realistic characters. Malachi has become my new favorite Temple Brother just for his brooding and loner ways and I adored Eden as his match. The primal play and steamy scenes were perfect, having a little kink for everyone.

Malachi is the 5th book and the last brother to tell his story in Elle Sparrow’s Temple Brother series, and the author does not disappoint.

Malachi is now ready to go through with the arranged marriage so he and his brothers can continue their plan to get out of Zion. Like the four brothers before him, Malachi struggles with his kink and how or if he should let his young bride, Eden, will accept or understand.

I loved Malachi and Eden’s story. Not only do I feel that these two were made for each other, but I also love the touch-her-and-die vibe that Malachi develops as the story progresses. And along with the story of Malachi and Eden, we also finally learn how the brothers accomplish their first objective, which was getting out of Zion. Elle Sparrow adds so many twists and turns that you will just say one more chapter.

Malachi (H) and Eden (h) are the next to be married. Kai never really thought he’d be married or find a woman accepting of his need for primal dominance, and definitely didn’t expect Eden, who’s constantly questioning, dancing in the woods, and just driving him over the edge at times. The intimate relationship between the pair is just spectacular as they build their D/s life. But then you have the whole Zion things – the relationships among the Temple brothers and their wives; the horrendous activities of the Elders; the trafficking. The Temple Brothers has just been an amazing series and such an emotional read at times. This is a series that really is best served by being read in chronological order to get the most out of the overarching Zion storyline – you absolutely won’t want to miss anything.

Malachi brings the series about The Temple Brothers to a close with an adrenaline-inducing, nail-biting, heart-pounding ride. Just like the underlying suspense plot gets darker and more sinister with each book, so is Malachi's kink darker and calls for a very special woman. Lucky for him he finds it in Eden! Explosive chemistry and ever-growing mortal danger are described in such a fantastic way that it was like I was right there with them. This is a book that you will not be able to put down once you've started and it will put you through an emotional wringer before the well-deserved HEA. The whole series will stay on my keeper shelf to be re-read and I am soo glad that we get a promise of a new series featuring the Temple brothers.

Malachi is the final book in the Temple Brothers Series. Check triggers before reading. Should be read in order to understand the over all plot.

Malachi has held off getting married as long as he can. But being the last Temple brother, he has no other choice. Like the rest of his brothers, he has his own special quarks. His dominance comes out in the more primal sense when he's with a woman.

Eden is set to marry the last Temple brother. But just like Malachi, she seems to have her own little quarks that make her unlike most of the woman of Zion. She loves to be outside, in the wildness, one with the earth.

What an ending to an amazing series. Malachi and Eden are soo spicy! The chasing, the animalistic love, everything! I was hyperventilating the last 20% with the plot coming to an end! What a way to end the series!! I so wish I had more of the couples!!

An Intense and Emotional Read

Elle Sparrow delivers a gripping story with Malachi. From the first chapter, I was pulled into a world filled with suspense, heartache, and unexpected tenderness. Malachi is more than just the typical brooding hero—he’s layered, complex, and deeply human. The female lead balances him perfectly, and their connection feels raw and believable.

The writing is smooth and engaging, with a great balance between action, emotion, and romance. Sparrow does a wonderful job weaving in themes of healing, trust, and love without slowing down the pace. I especially loved how the side characters added depth to the story rather than just being background.

If you enjoy protective heroes, dark undertones, and romance that makes you feel something, this book is definitely worth picking up. I couldn’t put it down and can’t wait to read more from this author.

I had been not so patiently waiting for Kai story since early in the series. I love a grump and Kai was the perfect one to finish out the year with. He was growly and demanding and totally blown away by little bird. Ms sparrow created the perfect sweet but strong woman in the younger Eden. Her free spirit and sunshine the perfect compliment to the broody cranky man. And the heat between the two flew off the page. I couldn’t put this book. I wondered how Ms Sparrow would finish off this series and give the brothers their true happily ever afters and I had a huge smile on my face when I turned the last page bc she did it so perfectly. I hope maybe for a peak at these five amazing men and their perfect matches in the future!

I recieved this book as an ARC for a voluntary review.

I knew this would be the most exciting book in the series due to how the last book left off. Malachi is one of the most hardhead brothers in the whole series and is understandably not happy that he has to marry an 18-year-old Edan. In this book, we finally get to see them leaving the cult that they were raised in, though that is not without the difficulty and struggles that each couple has to go through.

I was able to read each book and the ending to me felt satisfying and I liked how everything came together in the end. This book was extremely well written and the story flows throughout each book connecting them, through the main overall story plot.

We've made it to the end!! I was glad to see that we finally got a little more plot in this final book. I needed to know how the Zion situation ended. Malachi and Eden were ok. They both were annoying for different reasons but I did appreciate the inclusion of primal play as the main kink - that's not as common in BDSM books, so kudos for representation.

Overall, this series has kind of frustrated me because the idea has the possibility to be utterly outstanding but the execution is only ok. :(

The books are all off balance with 75% spice (that gets repetitive), 10% odd fluff, and 15% plot.

It would have been incredible to have those ratios adjusted a little bit so that more details of the plot could have been explored.

So. Malachi/Eden - 3 stars
Series as a whole - 3 stars

So many twists and turns, strength and determination among the Temple families, dealing with awful parents and cult leaders. Malachi and Eden are forced together but come to trust and care deeply for each other, finding the one that lets them be who they really are. Terrific characters, a fast-paced storyline, entertaining situations, a bunker, secrets, multiple plans and much more. Easy to get wrapped up in the plots as they unfold, waiting for the unexpected things to happen. Loved the round of toasts at the end and the tension as the karma kicks butt in the ending. Very well done.

This is my first book to read by Elle Sparrow and omg what a great story the Temple Brothers series is a good one to hold your attention. What could be better than tough men who go for the women they want. The characters and their characters are well described by the author and fit into this story. They are looking for love and happiness just like everyone else. If this last part is so good then the other parts must be as good and I will definitely read the other parts because I am curious about the other brothers' story.

Great Finale

This is the final book of The Temple Brothers & while it is actually Malachi & Eden’s story it is also the finale for all of them.
Kai has not expected to find anyone that could possibly share his particular kink especially his very young & naive bride.
Eden had lived in the way expected of her but had always harboured a need to be free.
The joining of the two of them was not what either expected but it was very much what they needed.
The final marriage started the “plan” for all of the brothers & all of the horrors that had gone before were about to be exposed.
The ending was perfect & brought together all of the previous storylines.

Malachi likes his own space, but nownits time for him to fufil his duty as his brothers had in marrying, in order to help their cause of escaping the Zion. Eden is his chosen bride but marriage isn't what she though it would be, and when the brothers secrets come to light when will it leave Eden? Well written steamy engaging, grumpy/sunshineish, desires, engaging drama and more, a great addition to the series.

This fifth book in the series kinda reminds me of a twist of beauty and the beast. I love the development between Malachi and his wife, thinking that he doesn't deserve to be loved and watching all the men gather with their wives and doing everything in their power to keep them safe. But what really drew me into their world is how much they are willing to go to get out of the situation that they are in and will do anything to keep their loved ones safe.

It’s never easy to have to accept your fate, and move forward with your brother’s plan to escape the cult you were raised in. But that is where we find Malachi and Eden. The wedding ritual is always so awkward I think I’d just dissolve. Just poof gone. There’s religious trauma, SPICE, great character development and a satisfying conclusion. Really check your triggers and come back and tell me how much you love Eden.

What an epic conclusion to this amazing series!

So many emotions and so many twists and turns. When I say this book will have you in the edge of your seat I mean it.

And Malachi himself, the broody loner mountain man brother was everything you could want in a grump and then some. He also sealed the deal for me that yes, yes I am absolutely into primal kïnk.

Thank you Elle for the opportunity to Beta read this for you. I can’t wait to see where your take us next.

I wish I could give this more than 5 stars. I loved Zeke and Talia…but then came Eden and Kai… holy sh!t… LOVED!!! The action, the passion, the emotion! I couldn’t put it down. Fantastic!!! I wish we got more about what happened with Zion and where they all went. I was also interested in what happened to Kai’s horses lol. So many twists and turn! Fantastic ending!

Not going to lie, I didn't care for the spicy scenes in this book. Definitely not my kink in the slightest, and honestly, I didn't care about the two main characters. I pretty much skipped their spicy scenes because they weren't compelling. I do like fact that finally got a resolution to the zion debacle, and everyone is happy. This book, besides the resolution, added nothing to the series. It was also long for no reason. Like book 3, way too much spice without much dialogue with eden and Kai.

What an amazing ending to the Temple Saga. Though I have no experience in the primal sector, I ate it up!!! To see the transformation Eden brought to Malachi.... Phenomenal. The culmination of the underlying conflict of the community was intense! I was so terrified for my boys and for their wives. Edge of my seat, couldn't stop reading. And I must say... Just desserts are always sweeter served cold!
