My family did a family reunion in Steamboat in August of 2023 and my dad went to the bookstore in town and got this book signed for me and my sister. I read the back and I was so interested. I loved everything about this book. The adventurous, fantastical elements were fantastic. The world building was amazing. I could picture the Forest where everything took place so well! I fell in love with the characters so quickly and I absolutely adored the family dynamics. This book needs more hype(and a sequel!). I forgive the author misspelling my name when she signed it because it was so good!
