In building out the scale of the world the narrative strength gets diluted. Ajin was doing perfectly well building out a rich world while driving the main character. Even when different characters got the pov it still kept the focus to a captivating set. The shift to kingdom building is just less compelling. It allows a more complex set of intrigues and back and forths, but this messiness goes back and forth as the plot desires to make it pointless anyway. It's not bad reading, just a lot less compelling with the broader scope.

Great Read!!!

The author has done it again!! Book 11 was amazing in every aspect. The expansion of the world, magic system, and character development was well thought out. I can’t wait to see more of his books released and to see where the character ends up!

Some of the more epic battles for sure

This book weaves so many plots and paths. It's a lot to keep up with but most excellent as it has built upon the previous books and has some of the more epic battle scenes. Definitely excited for the next one to come out

too many characters

This book was confusing. Too many characters & P.O.V’s. Towards the end, I honestly couldn’t tell who was doing what. The chapters of the main character, Kai , seemed like an after thought. A shame. This series was once one of my favourites…not any more
