I had a lot of fun reading this. I loved the story, the world and the werewolf lore. I loved reading about Ellie and Ash setting out on an adventure together even before the twists and turns began. Scary bad guy, really cool premise, and as I said, just a fun book.
Unfortunately the writing itself was where the book needed improvement. The descriptions were lovely but the pacing was off - it needed to slow down and be padded out a little in my opinion. The dialogue was too intense also, and needed some action and descriptions to break it up a bit. There were a few times I lost track of who was saying what.
I wonder if the author tried to fit in too much into one story because the word count was getting away from her or something. I could even see this being slowed down and made into two books.
That being said I still recommend it to werewolf fans and Greek god fans.

I loved this story from beginning to end! The twists and turns. I swear anytime I thought I had things figured out and then plot twist!

Elanor and her twin sister Harmony are about to turn eighteen. It is well known, that on their eighteenth birthday they with change and the wolf they will become will show. A ceremony is held on their birthday, on which night, wolves will also mark each other as mates. However, this is out of the individual person's control and is chosen for them. A turn of events happens on their birthday which surprises and horrifies Elanor.
Meanwhile, as the shift happens, Artemis, the moon Goddess appears before Elanor. Revealing some secrets that have been kept for eighteen years and setting Elanor on a path she saw coming.
After graduation, Elanor and her friend Ashley decide to travel to the Royal City. Unfortunately for them, a killer beast or monster is on the loose killing all wolves it encounters. Artemis reveals that Elanor is chosen to do great things and defend the wolves by any means possible.
Obstacles are encountered, battles are fought and many secrets and surprises are revealed.
Will Elanor find a mate? Will the wolves be safe or wiped out? Can they stop the terrifying creature from invading their lands?
My Review:
Moon Born is a great story, I believe that is better suited for late teens. There are some romantic moments, however, the story is written in a way that would relate more to that age group.
I was given an unedited version of Moon Born to read and although I rate it as a 3.5 star, I believe once it is edited it will likely become a 4 star for teens.
Moon Born is full of challenges and decisions to make that keep the story alive and draws readers in.
A great monster vs. wolves story.

I first read this on Wattpad and absolutely LOVED it. It's a great story and I ended up buying the extended edition on Amazon. The extra chapter and extended scenes makes it even better!
The story follows a Beta's daughter after she has her heart broken and is betrayed by her own sister! She travels through the packs as mysterious creatures attack. She does find her mate and saves the world, but not alone.
She has an awesome best friend, a Greek Goddess and it's just...you have to read it!

I don't think this is the Amazon version that I read. It says Wattpad.
But the version I read was incredible. The story keeps you on the edge of your seat from start to finish and really pulls you into the emotions that Ellie is feeling.
The end is a huge plot twist.
