A great cast of characters in this well-told tale of survival and secrets. The friendship at the heart of the story is very moving, and the author handles the plot shifts back and forth in time and place with real skill. A wonderful debut novel!

This was a page turner! An excellent, well crafted YA novel full of surprising mysteries. The author does not give away the answers and keeps you guessing all the way through, leading you to some surprising conclusions.
