I have some advice for anyone reading if you’re ever offered the opportunity to jump head-first into a black hole with a team of amazing but obviously self-destructive women, just stay home and read a book instead.

Maybe things wouldn’t be quite so bad if we weren’t all separated from each other in the void. Once I’ve landed on the other side in this strange, terrifying world, I’m on my own. Well, not entirely.

The first life form I discover is a scaly, insanely ripped giant massacring a group of his own kind with a lit-up samurai sword. He’s covered in the blood of his enemies and now he’s coming for me. I can’t outrun him and my bullets bounce off his chest. It’s not really fair, is it?

I need to find the others and complete my mission, but this alien warrior won’t let me leave his lair. He has declared that I will be his mate, I hope that doesn’t mean what I think it does. I know that every minute that passes could be a matter of life and death, but there’s no escape.

The way he touches me, his brute power…I feel myself falling under his spell. The more I get to know the person beneath the savage, the more I start to fear that not only am I unable to leave, but I don’t even want to.

Since I was exiled from my settlement I have known nothing but rage and loneliness.


My life has slipped through my fingers and now I have been reduced to a dishonorable cutthroat. I didn’t think there would be any more surprises for me—until I came across her.

I have not seen anyone of her species on Xuthara before. This is a world where only the toughest and most courageous can prosper. I don’t think she is going to prosper.

I could dissect her—she is certainly an interesting specimen, so soft and feeble. Or I could just cast her out and leave her to be devoured by this harsh world. And yet I find that I yearn to keep her near me, and certainly not for her conversation.

She is nothing like the Abe females. She is weak, loud, and a constant thorn in my side. Why does the thought of her leaving fill my soul with dread? She has tried to escape me once, but I cannot allow that to happen again. She must forget about her former life. She is mine—now and forever.

Sota and Wyla's Story . . .

Wyla is an astrophysicist working with a team investigating black hole travel. The team gets separated and she ends up on the planet Xuthara. An alien, Sota, who has been exiled from his settlement, is in the process of battling other savages with a Samurai sword. When he sees Wyla, she is easy for him to capture while he considers her fate and what he will do with her.

Eventually, Sota decides that Wyla may actually be his mate. But he already knows it will be difficult to convince her of that. Time spent together helps them to get to know each other. Will he finally be able to show her that they really are meant to be together? Will she accept her life is now with him? This is a difficult place for anyone to survive, and if she won’t be his to love and protect, she will not live for very long on her own.

This is a fast-paced story, suspenseful and action-packed with realistic characters. The story line is engaging and pulls the reader into the excitement with detailed world building to make it feel like you are right there experiencing everything with them. Will they adjust to each other and fall in love? Or will his possessive and protective ways irritate her when she feels her own background makes her competent to take care of herself?

This wa a great story about Wyla and Sota and all the obstacles and issues they had to overcome. Wyla Pryler is a astrophysicist who is given an opportunity to go through a black hole with a team of women to gather information but as they where going through they end up all getting separated and Wyla ends up on a strange planet and right in front of her there is an alien man with a sword killing other aliens and when he turns to her she thinks she’s going to die when he comes at her dripping in blood but he doesn’t he just takes her back to his place. Sota has been exiled because of his parents deception and now lives alone and he is angry and when he is attacked by others he kills them with his sword and turns to see a female not of his planet standing there and goes to investigate and to decide weather to kill her or let the animals do it but she intrigues him and so he takes her back to his place while he decides. When she try’s to escape he knows he doesn’t want her to go and decides to keep her and that she is his mate. Does Wyla leave and return home to earth or does she stay with her sexy alien and give up her steamy nights with him or not. There is so much more that keeps you glued to the pages.

Wyla is still trying to piece back together her heart. She has a brilliant mind but that has not always been the best accessory when trying to find a boyfriend. You see they tend to be intimidated like it somehow makes them less so when she found someone who was possibly even higher on the Mensa scale she was delighted and then he vanished off the face of the earth. A few months later she is taken from her apartment, by force, to a secret location. A motley crew of female scientists are pulled together to go through a wormhole. People have gone through before but none have ever made it back. Sota is living his sort own self inflicted hell. He cannot do anything about his exile but he could let go of a lot pent up resentment and rage and start somewhere else but no. He spends his time plotting petty revenges against those who wronged him. That is until a small, weak being crumples in front of him and he feels the first stirrings of curiosity.
There is a lot happening in this book but you don't feel lost and you cannot help but know that at some point all the threads will be tied up nicely. The world building is great and there is more afoot than the obvious. Wondering what will happen next!

This story is about Wyla Pryler and Sota. Wyla an astrophysicist is stuck teaching astrophysics. Wyla is celebrating her 27th birthday at home when she answers a knock on the door and gets dragged and kidnapped by the NAA for a secret mission in Venezuela. Wyla meets a group of women who are experts of their field that were chosen to go through the black hole to the other side. Wyla ends up on Xuthara and meets Sota who been exiled from his settlement. Will Sota take care Wyla? Their interactions were engaging, the romance and chemistry simmered, the world building was descriptive, and the storyline was interesting in this story that starts this series. Wyla is a a scientist that was recruited( by kidnapping), to investigate a warmhole that developed in a South America jungle. She and several others enter the wormhole separately and are separated. There she meets Soto, an Abe alien. He's an outcast of his people. He takes wyla in and protects her. During his time with Wyla, Soto falls for her but he has insecurities so he's over protective. He finally realizes he has to let her go but she comes back to save him. It's the old saying " if you love them, then set them free. If they love you, they'll come back. " Thers plenty of danger, drama, and hot spicy steamy between Wyla and Soto. I love the story.

Book 1 of the Warrior Savages of Xuthara. Quite different with jumping into a wormhole an falling right into a hot, alien fighting a battle. Sota has never seen a human before and Wyla is quite different and he doesn't know if he should keep her or leave her. I love that the longer they stay together the more the more he believes that she is his mate. Super intense, hot and steamy between Sota and Wyla. Great story, great start to a new series.

Wyla (h), an astrophysicist, is part of a team researching black hole travel and finds herself on her own on a distant alien planet, Xuthara. She encounters Sota (H), an alien who’s been exiled from his people, amid a battle and he then comes after her. At first, he seems torn about what to do with her, but as Sota spends time with Wyla, he believes her to be his mate and now just has to convince her. Intense hot and steamy action between Sota and Wyla! Great romantic story and loved the storyline. Amazing start to the series.

Wyla is still recovering from a broken heart when she gets kidnapped. Sota is in exile after suffering from the ultimate betrayal and spends most of his time plotting his revenge on those who wronged him, until a strange female lands in his lair and he knows she is his mate.

I really enjoyed this book. Great world building and wonderful characters. I was completely hooked from the start and couldn't put it down. I really liked the chemistry and dynamic between Wyla and Sota and enjoyed the growing feelings between them. I also liked the other women that were with Wyla and look forward to reading their stories. 4 stars.

A new series called Warrior Savages of Xuthara. Both Wyla and Sota have trust issues from things happening in their pasts. There id drama, danger, suspense, villains and romance. The story is well written and held my interest. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Both main characters have severe trust issues due to their past. What starts out with fear on her part and interest in gaining knowledge on his part, slowly changes to attraction. But when trust is broken where does it leave them?

Yes I know if you read it through you will find his flaws but Soto is by far the best book boyfriend in the Sci-fi genre that I’ve found. I love the arrogance and softness that comes with who he is as a character!

Good read

Wyla has been hand picked along with four other women to go from earth through a wormhole. She ends up alone and is found by an alien, Sota. There is lot going on. Enjoy
