I read this book as part of a discipleship group. I think this book was good. It provided good basic principles of Christianity. I didn't disagree a whole lot with the author theologically, so that is good. However, I didn't get much out of this personally. I think this is the perfect workbook for new followers of Christ, which is exactly what it says in the title. If I was a new follower of Christ, I would probably rate this higher. It was just a little basic for my understanding and I found that he didn't really bring up anything I haven't already heard. If you are new to the faith, this would be a helpful book to work through and I will be sure to use my copy for friends who are newer in their walks.
