Super Bus

Rate this book
An old school bus is destined for the scrap heap until someone who recognizes its true potential takes an interest. Humorous dialogue and illustrations convey an important message about not making snap judgements about others based on appearances. This lighthearted story is simple enough for younger students to understand, and the older elementary crowd can appreciate the humor. Climb aboard with Mayor Plotnik, the new Superintendent, Driver Dani, and a group of diverse and enthusiastic students for a super ride! Written by a former educator, this is a "super" read-aloud for classrooms and home libraries. Possible discussion connections include community helpers, problem-solving, self-esteem, kindness, and making new friends.
