Laurel Lorenzini lives in New England with her two creative daughters, caring husband, and mischievous puppy, Bonnie. Growing up with eight siblings, she realized early on that everyone had something unique to offer the world. Her career as a writer advanced from writing flight strip notations as an Air Force air traffic controller to writing case briefs in law school. As an author of children’s books, she now writes about far more engaging topics, such as friendship, acceptance, and mutual aid.

One day, the librarian reads a book she shouldn't have, and a hungry monster escapes and begins eating all the books in the library. Four brave kids put on their thinking caps and do what they can to stop him before he snacks on all their favorite books.

This is such a quirky little book. I love the way the library is illustrated, and the kids' planning and taking action stokes the imagination. It makes me smile to read this book. I recommend it for book-lovers of any age.

Thank goodness for brave kids!

Glad this story is fiction, I hope :-) The kids have to face one of their worse fears with no help from the adult who is oblivious. This story is wonderfully illustrated and written for your little book lover.

Simple adventure book
