Ridge Brothers Series Managing Ryan - A Novella Ryan and Heather’s Story
Can one wrong turn change two lives?
Ryan Weston My life might not be perfect, but it’s perfect for me. Quiet. Simple. I help run the Ridge Ranch. It’s hard work and gives me what I need. But it doesn’t leave me much to offer anyone. Especially the woman standing on the ranch house’s front step. My instincts scream at me to turn her away. The last thing we need is a beautiful woman distracting the ranch hands, but I can’t deny the little things needing attention around here. Including a decent meal. I can't be the man she needs, but I need her more than anything.
Heather Wright The job I was promised is ripped away before I even get through the door. A lack of funds and a wrong turn find me in the little town of Emerson, Minnesota. Now, all that stands between me, a warm meal and a place to sleep, is a grumpy cowboy. I convince him he needs me, or at least the ranch does. I’m thrilled he accepts; it can’t be that hard to cook for a cowboy and his ranch hands. Can it? Now, if only I can convince him that he needs me just as much.
I live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest with my husband of twenty-one years and my three children. I also volunteer with youth and love to be outdoors. During the summer, I’m usually found camping or on the river in my kayak.
BOOK REVIEW Managing Ryan By Katina J Rose Five Stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Okay to start this was absolutely a nice and sweet fast rewad! You learn alot about Heather and Ryan and get to see them grow into themselves and become the amazing characters you read about in Finding Liv. Heather had to uproot her life due to loosing her job and nothing went right when that happened! Ryan buying her food led her to the ranch where she became the cook for the crew! There was alot of back and forth between Ryan and Heather! You also got to see Mr.Ridge (James) open up to Heather and grow as a character as well, which help to understand him and why he is the way he is. But the worst is finding out about why Ryan was pushing himself away from Heather. Having those words sit in the back of his mind that whole time and replaying after a great time with Heather. Heather and Ryan are super sweet and hot together. They help bring out the best in each other. I love the ring he gave her and that ending was absolutely Beautiful!
Loved this book. Heather and Ryan's story is perfect. Ryan gets a second chance at happiness. close proximity, one-bed situation. Managing Ryan is a perfect introduction to the Ridge Family, we meet both James (the father) and Conner (middle child), Wyatt (the oldest), and Cooper (the youngest) are mentioned but don't show up, just yet. Though the story mainly focuses on Heather and Ryan's relationship, both James and Conner play important roles part to the story.
I was first introduced to the Ridge family when I first got to ARC read "Saving Maddie" and fell in love with the characters, and new reading "Managing Ryan" and "Finding Liv" I would not be disappointed. These stories and characters will have them rooting for them from page 1.
Loving this story it was a great addition to the ridge family! So far I have read 2 other stories In this series and can't wait to read them all. I love Ryan and heathers story. Great couple and story !!
This book was short and sweet! After reading Conner's book I loved being able to go back and read how Heather and Ryan got together! Loved this book so much!!
Heather just had to make a good impression cooking because she did not have anywhere else to go. Ryan was the one who paid for her lunch and tried to get him to hire her. She had to prove herself to him, the owner and the farm workers. Wonderful characters throughout the entire book. Looking forward to the next one in the series.
I read an early review copy of this book for an honest review.
I received it from the author herself, and wow, I am excited to read more. I have been in a slump, but this one pulled me out of it.I absolutely loved this novella, I love how descriptive it was, and I never felt lost on what was happening with the characters. I loved how strong minded Heather is and how she didnt backdown or give up so easily. If you want a quick refreshing romance with a great storyline and just the right amount of spice, you've got the book.
