She made a terrible mistake. And now her life is in tatters…
When Stella Price is lured into an affair with her charismatic, manipulative boss, it’s her and not him who pays the price with her reputation and career.
Humiliated, she swears off men and the emotional danger they bring, picks up her old camera, and reinvents her life with a new career behind the lens.
But taking pictures for a living is harder than it looks. Enter Connor Knight: world-famous wedding photographer. He’s arrogant, infuriating, dangerously attractive and—if the gossip is true—the last person Stella should pursue as a teacher. Unfortunately, he’s also the best and she needs to learn the business fast—or risk bankruptcy and a shameful return to her parents’ house.
Stella tries to ignore their attraction. She knows falling for the infamous heartbreaker would be reckless. Doomed even—but resisting him? Impossible.
If she’s not careful, he’s going to teach her a lesson she’s already learned...
Shooters is a slow burn, enemies-to-lovers, closed door romance for readers who enjoy witty banter, flawed but fun characters, and a juicy plot. Perfect for fans of Abby Jimenez, Mhairi Mcfarlane, and Emily Henry.

Stella lost her job in advertising due to sleeping with her married boss, so she's taking this opportunity to go after her passion ~ wedding photography. She takes a seminar taught by the best in the business, Connor Knight. Connor has the skills and the ego to go with it, but he doesn't believe in love or commitment. The attraction is there, but why even try when you think it's doomed before it even begins.
I enjoyed the retreat in France and all the people she met there, especially Liliwen who was an absolute delight. Stella's first wedding was exhausting, weird, fun and something I would love to attend.
I have mixed feelings about her BFF Claudia. She was super fun and she had a mouth on her that gave me a few laughs, but she kept a huge secret from Stella that I didn't like. I mean they've been friends for a decade, so it just boggled my mind that she didn't tell her and I didn't like how Stella turned it around on herself too.
The focus is more on Stella's growth as a person and the romance is not as prominent. It took forever for them to figure themselves out. They were both pretty frustrating at times and we have the dreaded miscommunication that I'm not a fan of. I might have liked a chapter or two from Connor's POV to help better understand him.
Overall, I liked this one well enough as more of a com than rom debut. The authors knowledge in both advertising and photography was obvious. I loved everything about the epilogue ~ even the stuff that wasn't about Stella and Connor.
*Thanks to the author and Rachel's Random Resources for the ARC. I am voluntarily leaving my honest review*
In contrast to many romance books, which are formulaic and predictable, I was very happy with this book. It's really the finest option for your next book or a slump-busting read. It has all the qualities I look for in a rom-com, including powerful chemistry, fun, flirtatious banter, and beautiful settings. What a pleasure it was to read this!
After her previous career as an advertising copywriter is destroyed by an affair, Stella Price in Shooters chooses to pursue a career in wedding photography. She goes to France to study photography with the best in the business, Connor Knight, in an effort to launch her profession. Stella's life quickly becomes a maelstrom of strange customers, formidable women, and a seductive photographer.
The character Boggio made was fantastic. Stella is so authentic. I mean, this character might be the most authentic I've ever encountered in a book! Stella was a likeable heroine whose point of view was simple to understand. She gave her character a ton of characteristics and personalities, and even though she's mentally fragile as a result of a disastrous relationship, I really like that she's working to put her life back together.
And in this case, Connor's personality overconfidence, wit, and compassion worked well with Stella to make them the love is blind couple you want to root for in this kind of tale! Stella's ability to make herself look foolish in front of Connor made her amusing, which I found endearing. I found the personalities to be very well-rounded and incredibly relatable. They were all genuinely flawed, which made reading about them more enjoyable for me. Even the secondary characters were terrific!
The story line didn't feel dull or cliche as some relationships do given the writing's seamless chapter-to-chapter transitions and engaging style. Although the author's background in photography is obvious, she doesn't force it on you by using a lot of technical terms or explanations that you won't grasp. It was executed in the most refined and subtle ways possible!
I think the way this book handles anxieties is another factor in how much I enjoyed it. Since I experience the same emotions in similar circumstances, I could identify with Stella completely and found it admirable that it wasn't overly dramatic in the representation. I also gained knowledge on how to assist someone having a panic crisis.
In general, this book read like a movie, which was really fun overall!
Thanks to NetGalley and BooksGoSocial for providing an advanced reader copy of this book in return for a honest review.
This book was a labor of love…to finish. I wanted to DNF, but I got this from NetGalley and wanted to be able to give an honest review. Stella has had a hard time of things. She was fired from her old job at an ad agency after having an affair with her asshole married boss, and has been wearing a scarlett letter ever since. She’s reinvented herself as a wedding photographer and is under the tutelage of one of the most famous wedding photographers in Europe and the UK, Connor Knight. Who is also incredibly handsome and a well known playboy. But who’s counting. She ends up kissing him and then eventually one-night standing with him after promising herself that she wouldn’t stoop to sleeping with another one of her bosses.
So of course she wallows in self-loathing before ignoring his attempts at seeing her again. Until she just can’t stay away. I’ll leave it at that. Connor…there wasn’t much at all to like about him. He had a few instances of chivalry but I just didn’t really like him. Stella…I can empathize with her situation, but I just didn’t really enjoy being in her head. The only thing these two had going for them is their attractiveness (if she talked about people’s bodies one more time…) and the fact that they each speak a second language. Slow clap, I guess? I felt like the “best friend” was extremely selfish and careless with Stella’s feelings, and she was a terrible friend once it came to sharing her own life with Stella. I just…didn’t like this or anyone in it. So, that’s the review.
‘Shooters’ has everything I love in a romcom: fun, flirty teasing, fabulous locations and strong chemistry between Stella and Connor, which both of them try to resist! They’re drawn to each other right from the start, and the attraction keeps deepening, but it’s the last thing that either of them wants.
There are so many laugh out loud moments, especially with the eccentric people who employ Stella for wedding photos. The supporting characters are vivid and memorable, and I enjoyed the glitzy wedding photography scenes.
The story is fast-paced, and I didn’t want to put it down. When I had to, I was thinking about the characters and wanted to get back to them, it’s that good! I read it in two days.
I was cheering Stella on. She’s made mistakes, and she’s emotionally vulnerable after a disastrous relationship, but she’s piecing her life back together. Love wasn’t meant to be part of that! I liked how Stella was so determined to avoid repeating her past mistakes, and it was great to see her growing in confidence and recovering from having her heart shattered.
I received an ARC for an honest review. I had such fun reading ‘Shooters.’ If you enjoy romcoms, you’ll love it!
Julia Boggio’s debut romcom novel “Shooters” is as frothy as a wedding dress, providing pure escapist pleasure: a riotous romp through the glamorous world of wedding photography… With its endearing, erstwhile unlucky-in-love heroine Stella Price - aspiring wedding photographer - cinematic, romantic settings and a cast of technicolour comic supporting characters, there is never a dull moment. Peppered with amusing Italian proverbs (Stella’s mum’s), laugh-out-loud jokes and snatches of pop songs, we follow Stella’s search for love and professional success from English stately houses to The Italian Lakes – where you can almost hear Stevie Nicks singing “Italian Summer”… as she navigates the pitfalls of the wedding photography world… and the even more perilous terrain of the human heart. Connor Knight is Everywoman’s Matthew McConnaughey dream leading man – as elusive as as he is irresistible. Julia Boggio has an eye for detail – visual and psychological – and her descriptions of place and character are utterly convincing; moreover, she has a talent for tapping into female fantasies. “Shooters” is “Dirty Dancing” meets “Bridget Jones” meets “My Best Friend’s Wedding”. It’s Bridget Jones if she were a photographer. Will Stella’s dream of succeeding as a wedding photographer come true ? And will she get her Prints Charming ? This outrageously funny, heart-warming, sexy, feel-good page-turner will hook you and really make you want to find out. And personally, I am adopting Stella’s mantra “Tits and teeth” for whenever I need to spur myself on in some daunting situation. (Sylvia Novak)
I loved this book. Couldn't put it down! It's full of humour, fast-paced and has so many smart one-liners. It sizzles from the first page and you really feel like you're immersed in the glitzy world of wedding photography. If you love romantic comedies then read this one- you won't be disappointed!
I absolutely loved this book! Easy to read, it is such a page turner and well written. I absolutely loved Stella’s character. If you’re after a flirty, easy to read romance this is for you. This would also be amazing made into a film or series. I can’t wait to read more by Julia Boggio.
I had to go back multiple times to make sure this was a debut novel because it was amazingly well written!
While the characters are the typical personas in a romance novel, they were also unique in their own ways. Both the FMC and the MMC are in the wedding photography business -- him being one of the best and her just starting her journey. You can tell the author has a background in photography. While it might not be everyone's interest or hobby, the author doesn't shove it in your face with too many explanations or terms you won't understand. It was done in the most subtle and sophisticated way!
You can find some amazing tropes but also a lot more in here -- PTSD representation along with occuring panic attacks, two characters that try to deny their attraction to one another, time spent in a gorgeous castle in France, a weekend getaway in hot and romantic Italy, the "I will kill him if he touches you again" (*swoon*), a hero with a Matthew McConaughey type of smirk, a heroine that is Italian and Welsh, a lot of fun side characters that each had their own fleshed out personality and much much more. If you love Emily Henry and Tessa Bailey but want less smut (there's a lot of talk about s*x but when it comes to it it's like 95% closed door) -- read this book. The tension alone was *chef's kiss* 🤌🏻.
Seriously, pick this book up. I can't believe it's not more popular!
A huge thank you to NetGalley and the author for sending me an ARC of this book!
I’m not a regular reader of romantic novels, I prefer to try and live that kind of life instead of reading about it, so this is a first for me. I guess the poetic elegance, metaphors and flirtatious tease are the currency of the genre but like a great literary work, this had me hooked from the first sentence. I wasn’t ready to get sucked in. I just glanced at the opening page and felt an instant rush of unexpected excitement. I was hooked.
My experiences in the world of wedding photography were instantly laid bare with unreserved eloquence and through the eyes of Stella, a fabulously funny and overthinking heroine. The descriptive narrative that emerges frequently throughout Shooters is a delight to read and re-read. There are so many things to learn about in this book; revirgination, emotional intelligence, and how it must feel to be impaled on the end of a hard stare to name a few. I also learned how to be a help to someone suffering from a panic attack.
Shooters is set in the time of the iPod generation, the period of economic prosperity prior to the 2008 banking crash. It was the golden era of the modern age. A time before Facebook and Instagram. The novel is a welcome fantasy life that I enjoyed sinking into. Stella is endearing, I love her and I’m sure you will too.
PS: Who knew that you could fake love with breakfast cereals?
I absolutely loved this romcom that had me laughing out loud.
After a workplace affair goes wrong, Stella is forced to leave and make a new start. This time focussing on something a bit more creative - photography. Feeling like she needs to prove herself to everyone else and knowing she needs to make this work and start making money, she heads off to a course to learn from the best and make sure she becomes successful by the summer. What she doesn't need is to fall for Connor, the hugely talented but annoyingly arrogant course leader.
I loved Stella. She was fun and full of passion - but equally ditsy and impulsive. It was brilliant following her story. There were also some really great side characters that all stood out with their different personalities but similar ambitions. There have been mentions of this being a series set around the group as a whole and each book following a different character in the group, which would be wonderful and I can't wait to get to know them better and hear their stories.
The writing style was so perfect for this genre. It felt light-hearted and fun and the storylines flowed beautifully making it easy to keep grabbing and racing through this.
A great series opener and brilliant read. I can't wait to see what the next book holds.
This novel really wowed me! From the jump I loved Stella’s character, after having to jump careers because of an affair I really enjoyed that we got to see her go after her passion, this story focuses a lot on her growth as a character and if you’re like me and you like books that have deep and relatable MCs then you need to pick this one up. I wasn’t sure how I felt about Connor at first but I quickly came to like him and I think these two were just so cute as a couple once they both overcame their hang ups.
I would definitely class this book as a romcom, it was such an easy read for me from start to finish. There’s tons of laughter, steam and chemistry between the characters that you can’t help but devour this read. The plot was unique and fresh and I didn’t feel like I was reading just any romance book, this was definitely memorable.
This book is so much more than a pretty cover, while I was drawn in by the cover originally I’m so happy I took a chance and read this novel, I will definitely be recommending this to anyone looking for their next romance fix
This is a debut novel?? There’s no way!! What a fun ride this one was! One of the few books I’d say I wish I could re-read for the first time. Amusing, hilarious, and brilliant, this novel was so much more than I was expecting.
Stella left her job in advertising in disgrace after having an affair with her boss. She decides to start a new career as a wedding photographer, earning herself a spot at a photography retreat with Connor Knight, the greatest wedding photographer in the world. Connor is talented, arrogant, and gorgeous; but does not believe in love or marriage himself. Stella and Connor have a serious connection, but what will that really mean?
Watching Stella’s career and confidence grow throughout this book was beautiful. Aside from her relationship with Connor, she grows SO MUCH, makes unexpected, lasting friendships, and realizes so much about herself and her own strengths.
An even though a toddler spilled apple juice on the book when I was 50 pages from the end, I COULD NOT STOP! 🤣. Such a beautiful story, I absolutely recommend this!!
Thank you to the author for sending me a copy of her book in exchange for my honest review!
We follow Stella in our change of career, she wants to become a wedding photographer after quitting her job. She wants to go on that course in France with Connor Knight, THE wedding photographer.
It was such a fast paced read and sooo addictive! The characters are all super loveable, and the story is super gripping! I absolutely loved every pages of this book. You get to laugh, cry, travel, through this story! The ending was absolutely perfect! While I was reading it I was thinking of how much I’d wish for a sequel but then when I read the epilogue I literally had all I needed!
Shooters (The Photographer's Trilogy #1) is Julia Boggio's debut novel & the 1st book in what is to be a 3 part series.
This romcom is teeming with hilarious and colorful supporting characters & the focus isn't solely stuck on romance for the entirety of the book. I found myself laughing out loud during the outlandish situations Stella found herself in while photographing weddings. I love the witty banter & sparks that fly between Stella and Connor and how they butt heads, but keep coming back for more. The Dolly Parton elements were the cherry on top of this sweet confection of a read. I absolutely loved it! 😍
A special thank you to @lovebookstours @juliaboggio for including me on this amazing Book Tour!
I haven't read a romcom for quite a long while and this book reminded me absolutely why I want to include this genre in my reading collection more again - I steamed through this book and couldn't put it down, itching to pick up on the next instalment of crazy wedding antics and the next frisson between Stella and Connor.
I was kindly sent an advance copy of Shooters by Julia in exchange for an honest review and thank you Julia for doing so for the many laugh out loud moments and delicious memories of my own days at the head of a wedding planning business. Such strong, characters that you just can't wait to know more from - here's to part 2!
I've been looking forward to reading this one since I bought the ebook!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I had mixed feelings at the beginning, it was a slow burn but after a few chapters, I didn't want to put it down - I was so invested in this story!
I love the change of career, going what she's after, trying something new, and having an attraction to the people she shouldn't.
Next, the focus being on photography and wedding events has me all fuzzy - I love weddings and getting that perfect shot, whatever the subject is, is always satisfying.
From the title Shooters, I just knew this was a book I had to read! It was an easy read rom com that had me visualising every bit of it!
What a enjoyable reading experience this was. I believe this is Ms. Boggio’s debut novel and if so, she has written the ultimate money shot. When her marketing career blew up under the most deplorable conditions, Stella Price turns to wedding photography to turn her life around. Considering herself lucky to secure a spot in a course taught by master photographer, Connor Knight in France, she forges forward with her new career aspirations. Stella has just come off a disastrous affair with her married boss which ruined her former career and she has no intention of getting involved with another man.
Connor is a known womanizer and a major commitment-phobe, but Stella finds herself strongly attracted to him and it seems the feeling is returned. Their attraction carries over back into their real lives as they meet up at the wedding shoot from hell that Stella contracted through her house cleaner.
I was greatly pleased with this book and the author’s writing which flowed so smoothly from chapter to chapter. Almost from the start I was cheering for Stella and Connor even though it seemed their differences were too much to overcome. The supporting cast of characters were perfect and entertaining in all the right spots and added much to this delightful rom-com..
Many thanks to the publisher, Books Go Social, and to NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for my honest opinion. I gave it four stars!
I absolutely loved following the escapades of the emotionally fragile but very loveable Stella Price. The locations are sumptuous, the characters are original and fun, and the plot line keeps you wanting more.
Julia Boggio’s brilliantly funny writing brings us through Stella’s sometimes disastrous escapades as she struggles to learn her craft while attempting to resist the crushingly handsome Connor. It also plunged me into the fascinating world of photography which I knew nothing about. Unputdownable and guaranteed to put a big fat smile on your face!
On a chilly Saturday morning, snuggled under a blanket on the sofa, I settled to read the first chapter of Julia Boggio's debut; four hours later I hadn't moved! Julia has written a page-turner that will not only resonate with photographers, but with literature lovers who enjoy losing themselves within the pages of a well-crafted read. Humour, romance, complex characters, luxury locations and a sizzling of sexual nuance, intertwine to seduce the reader into wanting more. Ensure you set aside a day to indulge undisturbed and immerse yourself into the world of SHOOTERS.
Read within 48 hours, Julia’s brilliant book kept me up late into the night excited to read what would happen next. Wonderful characters and a fascinating insight into the wedding photography industry I loved the adventures along the way as the main characters met and fell in love. It’s a feel-good book that made me laugh and a great read. I was lucky enough to be sent an advance copy in exchange for an honest review and I’ll definitely be buying more copies for family and friends once we hit publication day. Highly recommended.
Shooters is a unique and unpredictable romance set in the wedding photographer industry. We follow Stella who had to leave a successful career in the advertising industry after a scandal. She is determined to start a career as a wedding photographer and takes a chance by going to an expensive seminar with Connor Knight, a world-renowned wedding shooter. She makes some new friends and fights her attraction to Connor. There were some beautiful venues visited and this was a window into an industry I knew nothing about. It's going to be a series and I'm glad.
I want to first of start by saying thank you to @lovebookstours and @juliaboggio for the opportunity to read this wonderful rom-com.
I am not much for a rom-com, my preferred genres are fantasy, smut, and thrillers. However, you sometimes have to venture out and open your mind to other genres. That is exactly what I did when I signed up to review this wonderful book. I truly enjoyed this book! I loved the character development of both Stella and Connor, they did a lot of growing. Especially Connor who really struggled with the concept of marriage and just didn’t believe in marriage. What made it even more funny was that he was a wedding photographer but still did not see the reason why couples got married. Stella did a lot of personal growth, especially having to change their career path due to something that she brought on to herself and had no choice but to leave a job she was comfortable at (a job she was extremely comfortable in). Both characters struggled when it came to finally accepting that there was a possibility that they could both find happiness. They both knew they wanted to be with each other but just couldn’t find a way to express their feelings and stay true to what they believed. I most recently have been reading books where love is rushed and I was happy that in this case there was a build-up, which I believe Julia did such a great job. Sometimes love stories that take a while to build up can distract readers, but Julia did such a great job by including other characters that made you laugh which kept you wanting to read more. Not only because you wanted to know what would happen with Stella and Connor but because you wanted to see what other goofy things the other characters did. I am looking forward to reading more Rom-com from Julia.

I will start with the front cover, it’s gorgeous and definitely sassy. It’s definitely a come and read me type of cover, you don’t even need the blurb for it. The story, as soon as I read that first page, I was in love with it. It’s such a dream to read, the characters are relatable. My favourite characters has to be Stella and Claudia. Wow, I was constantly routing for Stella, the situations she finds herself are omg situations. Claudia is hilarious, blunt with a potty mouth. This book is brilliant, I don’t usually read books like this, but I’m going to have to change that. The amount of humour and one liners in this, the book is fantastic.
This was a cute read. I would call it "popcorn fiction" - quick, easily digestible, a little addictive (just one more page) and I felt totally satisfied once I finished reading.
This book is a romantic read - but it's not really. It's more about Stella getting to know herself again, and trust who she has become. It's about her owning up to her past mistakes, letting them go, and allowing herself to move on.
Stella is starting over - in her past life she was a successful copy writer of pharmaceutical drugs - and 6 months ago is all imploded. She made a pretty huge mistake and paid for it by having to start over.
With a fresh start available to her, she's decided to pursue her first love - photography. Specifically, she wants to get into the wedding game.
The book starts with Stella attending a wedding photographer convention of sorts - and there she meets Connor Knight - THE wedding photographer - who not only knows everything there is to know about taking the best wedding photos - but he's also handsome as sin, smart, witty, talented... you get the drift...
But based on her previous history (the event from 6 months previous), Stella decides to stay as far away from him as possible. Well except - she ends up taking his 1 week crash course on wedding photography in France and spending all kinds of time with him.
The story goes as one would expect - but I will say that most of the focus is on Stella and figuring herself out. Sure there is the romantic conflict of "should she/ shouldn't she" tossed into the equation, but really - until she faces her demons and truly decides to move forward, her relationship with Connor doesn't really gain any traction.
I really liked how the author brought the past to light (well use of jumping back in time) - but I will admit that I times I thought "do we need to go into this much detail?" or "are we doing that again?"
That said - this book had the funniest - and I mean - laugh out loud - wedding and first dance I have ever read. It was great. The secondary characters were really solid, and Stella got to travel to France and to Italy - so that was lovely.
Overall - enjoyable read - I will pick up Julia Boggio's second book - which will follow Connor's assistant and his adventures in love.
A cute little story with some moments that made me giggle aloud. And I was glad that Stella made peace with herself and moved on.
Thank you Netgalley and BooksGoSocial for the advanced copy of this book. Happy to have discovered a new author.
I really, really wanted to like this book. I am a photographer; I love books set in Great Britain; and I love contemporary romances. Unfortunately this book missed the mark for me. The entire book starts with the main character knowingly involved with her married boss. And I think we are supposed to feel sorry for her because she loses her job and is embarrassed when his wife calls her out on it. She also says she feels bad about it and is never going to do it again. But then willingly and knowingly lusts after, flirts with, and kisses someone else she thinks has a girlfriend!! Couple that with the eleventy billion references to Jolene (and how she’s like Jolene), the unlikely booking of a 60,000$ wedding-her first wedding!- where the bride is allegedly a bridezilla but doesn’t need to see a non-existent portfolio from the photographer first, to the stilted dialogue, and the supposed best friend who doesn’t tell Stella about ANYTHING…. I mainly skimmed the last 1/2. Which may be why I didn’t believe the double profession of love at the end. Lust, sure. Love, no. But maybe it’s because I didn’t really like the main female character so couldn’t understand why a seeming playboy celebrity super hot everyone wants him guy would suddenly change his entire philosophy on marriage for her. And I literally rolled my eyes every time she got jealous thinking he was with someone else. YOU, ma’am, are a CHEATER (or at least knowingly being the other woman). I feel no sympathy for the natural consequences of those choices. I also didn’t understand how Stella could claim she was so open sexually with Nathan and then have a clutch-my-pearls moment whenever sex work, sex toys, or lingerie is mentioned. Her character seemed very under developed and inconsistent. Perhaps others who don’t mind the “other woman” trope will like this one more? Positively, I did enjoy the photography parts (since I am a photographer as well) and Liliwen’s character was delightful. I also liked Krish who is apparently featured in the 2nd book. I may give that one a chapter or two try. This one maybe just put a bad taste in my mouth because of all the blatant infidelity.
I would like to thank NetGalley, the author, and the publishers for providing this ARC copy to read and review. All the statements above are my true opinions after fully reading the book.

Holy Thumb Wars! What a refreshing laugh-fest about starting over. I'm looking forward to reading more from Ms. Boggio.
Her mother had raised her better. Stella Price's life has blown up and her new career choice as a wedding photographer may be another mistake in her big long list of fuck ups. But she's determined to make it work come hell or high water, even if that means wrestling thumbs with the sexiest man alive to win a one-week photography course in France.
Connor Knight is the best wedding photographer around and definitely not hard on the eyes, but he's a player surrounded by beautiful women and he's Stella's mentor. Nope. She's not going down that road again. That's how she lost her first job while she was outed very publicly by a scorned wife. Stella fights so hard to overcome the shame and guilt of her infidelity that she has a hard time trusting herself to choose wisely. The more Stella tries to avoid Connor, the more they are thrown together and the chemistry leads to hooking up. In Stella's case, she falls in love, but Connor made it clear he doesn't believe in love or marriage. With Stella's habit of jumping to conclusions due to her past bad relationships and lack of self-confidence, she dismisses the attraction as a one-time thing and moves on. I don't know what to think about Connor. I had misgivings from the start with his arrogance and smooth lines. Did he redeem himself at the end? Perhaps. With advice from a motley crew of kooky friends and confronting her past, Stella comes into her own, fights for her happiness, and receives a hilarious, creative, and very public confession from Connor.
The supporting characters are so entertaining and important to the story. Stella's best friend, Claudia is tactless and loyal. Ula, Stella's therapist cleaner may dabble in porn. Liliwen is a 60-something-year-old Welsh pixie who takes "dirty old woman" to a new level. Not to mention Stella's first clients, Paulina and Oliwier who throw an unforgettably hilarious and crazy wedding.
I recommend this delightful rom-com with quirky characters, beautiful locations, and lessons on learning to do the hard things and not letting fear run your life.
Thank you to Ms. Boggio for giving me the opportunity to read this book with no expectation of a positive review.
This is Book One of 'The Photographers Trilogy'. Stella Price is new to the wedding photography game, her past hasn't been like the photos she hopes to take, but she willing to learn. Having parents that pushed her at everything while growing up means she's not going to give up easily. When she meets Connor Knight she knows that he's one of the best, but can she trust herself with him? Will it just be work with Connor? I loved this book, it's an easy read and flowed well. This is one to pop in your case and read around the pool or even in your garden
This was a quick, easy and cute read that I finished in one sitting.
It is well written with a compelling and cute storyline and well developed characters that I genuinely loved. They were one of the best parts of the book for me, they really made the reading experience EVERYTHING.
The pacing was perfect for the tone of the story and the story and characters had me laughing out loud at points. I loved every minute of reading this and didn't want it to end.
This is my first book by this author but it definitely wont be my last and I cannot wait to see what the rest of the series brings
