Important Note:
The word “g*psy” is considered a slur. “Romani” is the preferred term, to the best of my knowledge.
^^No hate towards the author, btw. I didn’t learn of this until recently.
The book was pretty amazing otherwise. Gotta say I’m liking this demon guy Kinkade… could we be having a Tamlin/Rhysand situation here? Hmmm….

Oh my goodness, such a good book! The ending was crazy and I absolutely can't wait until the second book comes out. I NEED answers!! I started liking West near the end, but Kinkade is looking so interesting to me. I have a feeling he might win my heart in the next book. 😏 Already forming theories for the second book.
I was captivated by the story immediately. (There are some aspects that may be triggering- like rape scenes- so keep that in mind) I don't have triggers, so I personally didn't mind those scenes. I really love the changeling trope and Ryan trying to figure out how to use her magic. Can't wait to see more of that in the next book.
The only complaint I have, is that I had a hard time pushing through to finish the story, around 30-45% of the way through. It felt like the relationship between Ryan and West needed a little more fluffing in the beginning, for it to be believable that they cared so much about each other so fast. Just my personal thoughts. But I still gave it 5 stars regardless of my thoughts on that, because it's an interesting story, well-written, and I absolutely can't wait to read the next book.

Ryan leads a normal life, or at least as normal as possible for someone who unexpectedly lost their mother. She's struggling with depression and is haunted by nightmares.
West makes her feel safe, and she looks forward to spending time with him, even though he has to leave soon.
But what if she could be with him? Nothing is keeping her tied to her current life. Could it be as simple as a wish?
This was a beta read and when I say you need to read this book, I mean. This goes up there with my top reads for the year.
The plot is amazing! There's some steam but it doesn't take away from the plot. It's perfectly done and I can't wait to read the next one.
I will say that I absolutely hated the ending, but in a good way. It leaves you on a cliffhanger, and as soon as I know the next one is available I will be getting it. This may even be one of those series where I have to read the whole series every time a new one comes out.
If fantasy romance is your go-to, this book is perfect for you.

This was an action packed adventure with steamy love scenes that added and did not take away from the content. I read it in 2 days because I could not put it down! Looking forward to the next book because it was all left on a cliff hanger looking forward to how Leigh Brooke’s wraps it all up and resolves the issues.

This was an okay book. Interesting story. Ifyou like your heroine to be helpless and completely useless then you will like this book.

Really loved this story. Good world building and character development would be great to read the other books in the series that should be released but I can not find.
