The candy girls are hands down one of the best series I've ever read!! Each girl is so different, but I love them all so much! And I love how fierce they all are, and how much they've had to overcome. Honestly I wish they were real so I could force my friendship on them🤣🤣
We've gotten glimpses of Lollie and her trusted alligator in the other books, and I've always been really intrigued by her backstory. And I've gotta say, I love her so much. You think you know who the queen of porn is? Think again boo, because you really have no idea. Just because she works in porn doesn't mean she's always horny and willing to spread her legs: she's a real person with real emotions, and she's very grounded. She doesn't trust easily with all she's been through, and even though she's content with her life, she can't help but feel like there's something missing -- until three somethings come into her life and really shakes things up!
I really enjoyed the mystery aspect to this, and I love how Lollie was so protective over the girls in this industry, especially since someone was hurting them and she was trying to figure out who it was. There's so much of a stigma about those who work in the sex industry, and there shouldn't be. It IS work, even if you don't acknowledge it.
I loved all of her men, too! There's such a variation here, between a second chance (ish) with porn star dude who made Lollie feel comfortable and felt a spark with him years ago, a hot mc dude, and a country star we saw in the last mc book, there's a lot of connections in this group and I adore how this author ties all of her series together in some way. Icaurus, Sawyer and Talon just filled all the missing parts of Lollie, and I loved how they all loved one another.
That plot twist was so crazy good, too! I didn't see that coming at all, but that's what makes this authors books so exciting -- you never know what you're going to get!
We also got to see more of Sugar in this book as well, and finally got a glimpse of what happened to her in the past, and just talk about heartbreak. I just know her book will have me in a mess of tears, but I can't wait!!
Don't sleep on this series ya'll! It's so freaking amazing!!

When we first met Lollie back in Candice's Underestimated Series, I had a feeling she would be my favorite Candy Girl. I've been anxiously awaiting Lollie's book ever since Candice announced this series and it most definitely did not dissapoint! Lollie can be read as a standalone but you'll have the best experience if you start with Dulce, the first book in The Candy Shop. Each book focuses on a different Candy Girl, a group of badass female assasins who are a cross between Charlie's Angels and La Femme Nikita.
Lollie is a famous porn star by day and secret assasin by night. She's an extremely likable charater- compassionate and loyal, and unexpectedly funny. When she draws the attention of a biker, former porn star and county music legend, all bets are off in their pursuit of Lollie. The romance aspect is a bit of insta-love with some friends to lovers but it all works. It's low angst and high spice- just the way I like it! :)
The storyline has Lollie and crew working to solve a mystery so there are some suspenseful moments with some feelings of questioning who you can trust. The conflict comes to a head with a surprise twist that I did not see coming. Overall, this was an engaging and fun read that I would definitely reccomend to why choose readers. Can't wait for Sugar, the final book in the Candy Shop!

When I just started reading this series, I loved it and the more books are released (this is the third one), the more I love it! So far Lollie and Reese are my favourites!
The only issue I had with this book was the addition of Sawyer to the harem. Let me explain: Talon and Icarus were logical and fit nicely into the story, but with Sawyer, it was kind of out of blue and even if the spice and chemistry between those two were off the charts, I still felt that it didn't fit the whole storyline.
We get to see lots of Dulce and some of Reese with their respective men, so that was great. Now, knowing what Lollie does for a living (assassin/AV star), I anticipated the book to be scorching, and it didn't disappoint. We didn't see much of her being the assassin (maybe closer to the end), the book was more focused on her trying to solve a case at a set.
Overall, this was a great book. You can read it as a standalone, but trust me, start with the first book as it will explain a lot and you'll get to know more about Charlie! Yes, probably the best animal (after Kurt in Neva Altaj's Stolen Touches) and all interactions of Icarus, Talon and Sawyer with him were epic. Sawyer's was for sure the best! Now, what the hell was with that cliffhanger for Sugar? For real, I need Sugar's book yesterday!

Well, for me this book was the least pleasant one out of the three. I wasn’t a fan of the plot with women getting hurt again. I like that all the books in the series are reverse harem, but I don’t like how shallow these relationships are - they move in with each other after knowing each other for a day. I’ll read Sugar’s book, but if it’s about the Greek mafia, I won’t be a fan.

Lollie by Candice Wright is book Three in the The Candy Shop Series. This is the story of Lollie, Icarus, Talon, and Sawyer. Lollie is a famous porn star who has also been part of The Candy Shop. But after seeing her friends find their loves she is thinking of turning to a more serious part in her life which leads her to Talon, Sawyer and Icarus. Enjoyed.

I seem to be on a short review kick so that’s continuing.
Like almost all of Candices books, this one was a miiiinnnddddd fuck. In a good way. You can’t ever say her books are predictable or that they aren’t able to keep your attention.. and this is coming from the queen of ADHD.
While I did thing the relationships were a bit instalove, it didn’t irritate me as much as other stories from other authors have. It didn’t take away from the story at all. and as always, i love to see cameos from the other series.
would def recommend starting with the first book in the series even though it is a standalone.

Well this author destroyed me with that ending. What a freaking HUGE cliffy for Sugar. This book was fantastic. I cried, laughed, and then threw my kindle. I didn’t expect some of the plot points and I love when an author can actually surprise me. The men in this book are 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. So. Hot. Icarus is just the best in my humble opinion. Even better than the guys is Lollie. There’s nothing better than a strong, intelligent, sexually confident woman who doesn’t apologize for liking sex and doing what she wants. I’m so over the virgin troupe most days. Everything in this book works and Charlie is one of my favorite animal characters ever. An easy 5 stars, and I wish I could give more.

This is the third book in the Candy's Shop Series. I have loved the last two books and this one will be no exception to that. I don't know if this is the last book but it is Lollie's story and she is the star of the shop so I would assume that it is. Maybe though Sugar will get a story and then those of us addicted to this series can rejoice. If you have read the first two books then you know who Lollie is. If you haven't read those books, you can read this one as a standalone. However things carry from one book to the next and they are amazing too so you will want those in your life after reading this one. Lollie is the most famous porn star. She is the queen bee so to speak. When she was younger she had this horrible boyfriend and he ruined her life and right after that tragedy struck. That spiraled her down an dark path and now she has it together and is the queen of what she does. She has accomplished what she wanted to. Opened her Honey Shop and she has proved that she is so much more than the people that thought her life was ruined. You could say she was living her best life. However she realizes there is more to live than what she is doing. However she never expects the phone call from the man needing help and this has her finishing one last film in her career with some seriously hot men. Icarus is in a MC and he is really just a big teddy bear and is her bodyguard, Sawyer, is a celebrity who wants her in his music video. Talon is the man who's film needs to uncover a questionable and super dangerous secret that involves his staff and studio. This is all a matter of life and death and I loved uncovering all the layers of this story that there were to uncover. I did not want this book to end and I devoured it.

After reading Dulce and Reese, I'd been waiting for Lollie's book as she always came across as the sweetest of them all and fun loving not because of what she does but that's the way she is.
And this book proved me right as Lollie is a person that you'll instantly like and would want to have as a friend.
Lollie needs a new bodyguard as there's always a security threat waiting to happen in the field that she works for but what she finds is a hot biker with whom she has instant chemistry.
But when her crush from her past comes knocking at her door for help in investigating something happening shady, Lollie being the legend in the same industry would be the instrumental in assisting.
As her crush who was then an actor is now a director in the same industry, is finding the girls he's shooting with being secretive and feels something fishy going on.
What starts as a simple search in no time turns into something huge that leads deep into something that Lollie and her guys would never have imagined.
This one balances perfectly between the suspense and filthy times with Lollie and her men.
But what connects deep is the feelings and bond they share with each other.
Ofcourse this one is filled with so much heat that it will melt you off but also will make you envious of Lollie for having the best of the world with men who not only rock her world but would also lay down their lives for her. 🌶️😍🔥🥵
Lollie is a girl who's a warrior but also loves with all her heart and that one scene that was just.. AHH... I had tears in my eyes with what happens and how Lollie cares so much for others.
The build-up to the suspense is so good and what comes out left me shocked and shaken.
I wasn't able to stop reading even for a minute as the anticipation builds and finally leads to the truth that left me horrified and not able to understand how people can wear masks and the level of darkness inside them. 😳😱😱.
But out of nowhere came that twist about Sugar and I was like WHAT THE.. 😱.. I never thought the head of the Candy Girls would have such a dangerous and hurtful past and then that ending.😲
There are so many questions I'm waiting to find out answers to with the unbelievable that's happened.
So can't wait to dive into Sugar's book next. 😍😍

This Book Needs Focus
I have a confession to make - I bailed on this book around the 50% mark. This series is a very interesting premise but desperately needed focus and I just couldn’t make it to the end.
The Candy Shop is a cool premise! It would help to have this fleshed out (pun intended) a little more before jumping into the series. Maybe a novella prequel or something similar.
Possible foundational questions to address:
- How big is the overall operation? We know there are four main characters, a receptionist, a personal assistant, and I think they mentioned a security team. Anyone else?
- They mention being assassins but their skillsets seem more broadly secret agent-ish. Can we unpack that a little?
- Who contracts them for the jobs?
- How do they get their money?
- How are they trained?
- It seems like they go on jobs but there are no handlers, just occasional calls to Sugar or one of the other girls. Is it really that hands-off?
To be honest, each girl’s story should probably be its own two or three book series. I get weaving together multiple tropes - that’s part of what makes books I retesting. But, and this is a big but, it needs to make sense.
- The FMC and one of the guys are in the porn industry. Okay, that isn’t something I have personally read before so it’s a fresh take. I needed more to build out that world. I’m not familiar with the adult entertainment industry so the non-sex part would be interesting.
- Bikers are normally their own story settings for a reason - those dude are hardcore ride or die. Usually there is a very defined organization and their lives revolve around the club. The book mentioned Icarus is a nomad but he also talked about his club tattoo and he didn’t want to show it in the movie because he didn’t have his Prez’s permission. Huh? Also, within 48 hours of meeting her, he was hired in as security and then quickly progressed to one of the lead actors. That seems like a REALLY speedy career trajectory.
- The country music star wants her to be in his video (isn’t the normal talent crossover I would expect). He calls and asks her, they immediately have phone sex, and they all progress to a DTR talk the next day? Whoa.
- Somehow, Lollie has time to be an assassin, porn star, and strip club owner? Girlfriend needs to leave some jobs for the rest of us.
- I wanted more of Charlie.
Personally, I just needed a little more detail, a little more context, and a little more Charlie.

- Bikers are normally their own story settings for a reason - those dude are hardcore ride or die. Usually there is a very defined organization and their lives revolve around the club. The book mentioned Icarus is a nomad but he also talked about his club tattoo and he didn’t want to show it in the movie because he didn’t have his Prez’s permission. Huh? Also, within 48 hours of meeting her, he was hired in as security and then quickly progressed to one of the lead actors. That seems like a REALLY speedy career trajectory.
- The country music star wants her to be in his video (isn’t the normal talent crossover I would expect). He calls and asks her, they immediately have phone sex, and they all progress to a DTR talk the next day? Whoa.
- Somehow, Lollie has time to be an assassin, porn star, and strip club owner? Girlfriend needs to leave some jobs for the rest of us.
- I wanted more of Charlie.
Personally, I just needed a little more detail, a little more context, and a little more Charlie.

Lollie: The Candy Shop Book 3 by Candice Wright. It is now time to learn Lollie's story and find out what her assignment is and who will she find her happily ever after with. From previous book, by the way very hot and sexy reads and if you haven't read, please do, This book can be read by itself it just help to now the other characters. Lollie is a very famous star. Yes that is her job but it is also her cover story. When a friend in the business ask for Lollie to investigate some strange going on in the porn world, she jumps at the opportunity. Especially since Talon is asking her to star in his film, she is to excited considering what he can do with her body. Talon is the only man that she has worked with who has gotten a genuine orgasm and Lollie has had a crush on him for years. When Lollie is looking for a new bodyguard when a rough, tough and sexy biker has her lady bits tingling, she offers him a job after he took down a drunken fan. Icarus is a nomad for the MC but one look at Lollie and he is smitten. And to finish off the group is Sawyer, a country music star who initially wanted her for a video. Now he too want a piece of Lollie. As they navigate this new relationship, they are looking for what is wrong and who is involved. I could have read more about this group. An emotional story that almost bout me to tears. This story was left with a cliffhanger and the segway into Sugar's story. I am so looking forward to it too. The tidbits we were given has me wanting more. 4.5 stars.

Normally when I’m sucked into a series I devour it. I knew this was possibly going to be the last, so I was trying so hard to take my time. I was not ready to say good bye to any of these character, but holy crap, I have so many different emotions going on right now.. I’d like to happily say this was NOT the last book in the series. Sugar gets her own story!
From reading the first two books, I knew part of Lollie’s story; She’s a famous porn star, and is perfect distraction for her friends to come in to hit their target. What I wasn’t expecting was how emotional her past was. Some parts were outrageously gut wrenching. Her men are the perfect compliment to her though. They allowed her to be vulnerable and had an extreme protective streak.
My only complaint was I felt Sawyer kind of came out of nowhere. I wish we learned a bit more about him and his past like we did Incarus and Talon. It seemed like him being a famous country singer was all he had going for him (beside his big peen😜).
I’ll be honest, I’m not sure who my favorite Candy girl has been. I’ve loved every single character, even Charlie. Everyone and their men from the first two books joined in on this story and it felt like the gang got all back together. Them working together was so exciting to see. I freaking LOVE this series!!! The Candy Shop girls are not always all about the sweet. Sometimes you have to get a little spicy, which is just what Lollie does in this fabulous addition to the series. This book had it all. There are lots of chuckles. Who do you know that has a pet crocodile guarding their home? There are lots of hot times, especially when the men surrounding you are your first crush, whom you starred in an adult movie with years ago, a mega hot biker, and the current drop-dead gorgeous country singer, all wanting to be in your bed. The intrigue of happenings behind the scenes while filming a new movie with the biker and your co-star from the past. The anger surges through your veins when things don't go according to plan, and the bad almost triumphs over the good, putting Lollie in danger. There is so much hope and love that delivers the HEA that Lollie, Icarus, Talon, and Sawyer all deserve. Learning more about Lollie makes you want to wrap her up in fuzzy blankets and protect her, even knowing she's bada$$ enough to do it all herself. Just because she's a Candy Shop girl doesn't mean she won't take you out.
This book left me gobsmacked and waiting with bated breath for the next book because, you know with that ending, it's not over yet!

SO FREAKING GOOD
I have waited to see Lollies story forever and it didn’t disappoint. Lollie isn’t just what you see she’s so much more… Shes smart, funny, loyal, fierce and calculated. Her job gave her the perfect cover for being a candy girl.
While Lollie loves her work as a candy girl she’s finding her work as an adult film star tiring and she’s ready for a change. That change comes in the form of Icarus , Sawyer , and Talon.
She meets Icarus at her club and the chemistry between them is instant. She’s been needing a new bodyguard and he definitely fits that bill. She has decided to help Talon figure out a problem he’s been having and have this be her final movie. Then Sawyer comes along and wants her to be in a music video.
The connection they all share is undeniable and so perfect for what Lollie needs in her life. They understand her in a way no one else other than the candy girls have and it’s so beautiful to see.
The twists that happen I seriously never saw coming. It broke my heart for Lollie knowing that she doesn’t trust easily and knowing that betrayal hurt more than anything else.
Lollie gets her happy ending and that makes my heart so happy for her but also that ending has me so sad 🥺

Lollie and the Candy girls to the rescue
Candice is one of my favourite authors and the Candy Shop a truly novel, brilliant concept. The way the Candy girls pop up in her other series too adds depth and we have characters from the Underestimated MC making an appearance here, so love crossovers. We have Dulce, Reese and Sugar and their guys here too helping out solve the issue with missing girls here. It’s a stroke of genius for Lollie’s book to feature a storyline set in the porn world and see her reconnect with an old flame Talon.
Whenever I read about Lollies pet crocodile Charlie, I just have to laugh, she’s just such a quirky character.

This is the third book in the series and while it can be read as a stand alone, in my opinion you will enjoy it more if you have read the other two first. I knew Lollie was going to be my favorite when I met her in the first book. There was something about her that just stood out to me. Her confidence and Charlie didn’t hurt at all! Lollie is not your typical FMC, but that made it even better for me. She is amazing and probably one of the top FMC that I have read. Candice has a way with words and the worlds she builds are nothing short of amazing. The layers and details she puts into every story and how they can all interconnect with each other but not leave you feeling lost if you haven’t read the others before is a testament to her talent. There is always something you never see coming in Candice’s stories and Lollie is no different. That last little bit of heart wrenching pain she inflicts on her readers always has me coming back for more. This story had all the steam and didn’t disappoint at all in that area. This story did leave me anxious for the next book as I think that one is going to be even more brutal, but in all the best ways!

As a legendary hornstar Lollie knows the ins and outs of the business and that it’s not all glamorous and willing 😞 so after being contacted by a former work colleague, who she may have had a significant crush on when she first started as a hornstar, Lollie made aware that there’s some shady going’s on and she it’s her knowledge of the business, as well as a secret candy girl she knows she can do something to figure out what an earth is going on!
The thing that made this book for me is the connections between the characters! Due to Lollies career she has a team of bodyguards who are like her family and honestly the banter between her and Dave in particular but also Leon and Bobby is really heartwarming 😄
And her guys… a biker, a hornstar and a cowboy - honestly sounds like a joke, but they gel and each have entirely different personalities that bounce of each other! 🥰 and honestly their activities are 🔥 and let’s not forget Charlie who provides some LOL moments!
You really get own insight into Lollies backstory here and makes you feel for her and realise what a strength she’s become 😄

She’s one of those girls who brought herself up from nothing with the help of Sugar. Lollie meets Icarus, a biker. There’s man number 1. Man #2 is Talon, he’s the producer/director of the movie, she will be in. Well tasked to be in. She was brought in because Talon thinks something sketchy is going on and needs a fresh set of eyes. Man number 3 is the country music singer Sawyer. I do love me a cowboy. The way they met though. 🥵🥵. It’s very much fast burn relationship with all the guys. It’s just a wham bam, nice to meet you ma’am. But it doesn’t overtake from the story. The plot of what’s going on this movie set, the twists, it definitely keeps you hooked. I hope there’s more in the candy shop series. I’ve really enjoyed them all.

If you haven’t started the Candy Shop series yet, you definitely need to check them out because they are such a fun read. I mean who wouldn’t want to read a book about a woman who is a porn star, a strip club owner, and an assassin, who also has a pet alligator?!
As sassy as the Candy Shop girls are, they also have such wonderful hearts and Lollie’s book definitely had me feeling a lot of emotions at times.
I also loved Lollie’s guys although I did feel like Sawyer’s character was a bit superfluous. It pains me to say that because I did like him but I felt like there was so much happening in the story that we didn’t get as much relationship development as I would have liked.
We are left on a bit of a cliffhanger that opens for Sugar’s story and I will be counting down the days till we get her story. This series has been so enjoyable and I can’t wait to see how the final Candy Shop story plays out!

I love Candice Wright's books. Lollie is a famous porn star but she is much more than that. She doubles as an assassin.
Lollie's story brings in both those elements. When a friend in the business contacts her about things not seeming right on his set, Lollie comes in to investigate. Things are definitely going on but it takes a bit for Lollie to see just what it is and she is in for a big surprise when she finds out who is involved.
Icarus is part of a motorcycle gang, not one of the Kings of Carnage or Chaos Demons. Thinking there might be a new series coming from there. He is all about Lollie, whether it is protecting her or having a relationship with her. He backs her up and keeps her well-being in front.
Talon is a man from her past. Older then her, he has always had feelings for her but didn't want to take advantage of her when she was first starting out. Years later he still has feelings for her and is ready to see them through.
Sawyer James is a country star who has had it bad for Lollie. He was introducted in Throne of LiesI am disappointed in his character though. He almost seems like he was just thrown in there to round the group out. I didn't feel he played a significant part in the story.

The more stories I read of the Candy shop girl's the harder it is for me to pick which one is my favorite. They're all good.
Lollie is smart, beautiful and known as the queen of porn, but lately she's been having second thoughts of maybe quitting of wanting more as she see's her other 2 best friends get their hea and she wants that for herself, but first she has to hire a new bodyguard. Enter 6 ft something sex on a stick biker/protector...Icarus. These two right from the start had a connection just what it is youll just have to read it find out. You won't be disappointed😏.
This is a dark, dirty reverse harem with twists and turns you don't even see coming. Well played👏🏼 I absolutely loved Lollie and her take no shit attitude always ready to help those in trouble and her guy's Icarus, Talon and Sawyer they are just🤌🏼💋. I cannot wait for the next book in this series. It's Sugar's turn and I have a feeling it's going to be intense.

Ive yet to read a book in The Candy Shop series that i havent liked and Lollie's (FMC) book is no different. Yes its not as dark as other books in the series but it was no less gripping.
Lollie is a contradiction of a character where she is not how she is perceived. Shes wearing so many different masks. One being the porn star at the top of game, the sweet yet guarded down to earth always have your back woman and the assassin. All of which make i think made her a way more compelling and interesting character. A few tears and mixed into a great story, plenty of action and steam. As well as one hell of a cliffhanger ending.
I loved Lollie and the guys - Icarus, Sawyer and Talon. Oh boy did they heat up my kindle!!! Love me a badboy (kinda) biker - Icarus. Swoon............... A brilliant read. Im looking forward to Sugar's book now

An absolute delight - but it's darker than you expect
I have been a Lollie Evans fan since meeting her outside of the Chaos Demons' clubhouse in Mercy of Demons, and she has steadfastly remained my favorite Candy girl (after Mercy, of course), and this glimpse into her world simply makes me love her more. She has three men who are probably the most accepting jealous possessive men I've had the pleasure to read. They worship her.
The sex is early, often, and fabulous. The action is intense, and I'm not going to lie - I was totally unprepared for the emotional roller-coaster that I found myself riding. At one point, I am positive that I heard my heartbreak.
This series has been an absolute delight since Dulce was first released, and the addition of Lollie keeps that tradition alive.

Simply put, if Candice Wright writes it, I’m going to read it, especially if it’s part of the Candy Shop series! Listen, Candice writes books about strong women who aren’t embarrassed by their sexuality, they have the self confidence that makes you want to be a part of their circle.

Each of the Candy Shop girls have such unique personalities and backgrounds that it's easy to be entertained by each of their stories. Lollie is a character that you can't help but love as so many people only see her for her skin rather than looking deeper. She's as unique as her pseudo sisters and so she must also have a unique harem. A biker, a spicy film producer, and a country star round out the deliciousness of Lollie's love interests. With a deadly mystery, extremely spicy scenes, and some background information we have all been eagerly waiting for, Lollie is yet another favorite addition to the series (as they all have been for me). Not to mention the set up for Sugar's book! I don't think I'll ever get enough of this world, Wright has hit it out of the park again.

A biker, a cowboy and porn star enter into the bar… ok.. ok.. it was not a bar and it’s not a beginning of a bad joke.. luckily. The guys in this story are great.. with half-exception for Sawyer.. but I can live with that. They are hot and protective, and they are simply perfect (or almost) fit for Lollie. Lollie had no easy past but it didn’t stop her from finding her way and be who she is. She do everything with big passion and confidence, live her life to the foolest. But past can sometimes bite back again, however future comes with the rescue. I loved reading the story and was happy of snippets of other two heroines of this series. But there was a cliffhanger which is killing me.. kind of. No choice Mme Wright.. I need Sugar’s story next and better sooner than later.
