Nobuko and Hiroki venture to Kanazawa to celebrate their graduation, and are enjoying every minute of their trip. But as night draws closer, Nobuko struggles with nerves over the possibility that they may do more than just kiss. On top of that, it seems as though Hiroki has something he wants to tell her...
This volume went by much quicker than I was expecting!
The couple takes a significant step closer, and promises are made.
While I expect they will continue to have challenges, especially as their relationship moves into the long-distance category, I hope miscommunication doesn't become one of their issues. They have learned that they need to talk to each other about their feelings - it's still a struggle, but they're doing it, so I hope that continues.
These two are just amazing!!!! They are just so cute sweet and awkward. They both want to take the next step in a way but they both respect each other that they don't want to push. Their communication is just amazing.... This is what a real relationship should be about. The way he ask her to married her after school was just so cute. Then she finally did respond with even more heartfelt. I can't wait to read the next book in this series.... One of my fav series.....
This was perfect. The pacing wasn’t rushed and it felt so comforting to read how in love they were even with the long distance they’re about to face. That goodbye with her coworkers really made the story come full circle. I can’t wait to read what the future holds for their love, it’s going to be amazing. Thank you mangaka-sensei for giving us warm and loving vibes always.
So happy this story has continued. I’ve slowed down a lot to savor it and to allow time for more volumes to come. It was nice to pick up tonight. There’s a lot of forward movement in this volume, but the groundwork and slow opening of communication and buildup of trust has paid off, allowing Nobuko and Hiroki to communicate with greater ease in difficult topics, to recover from missteps, and to work through awkwardness together. As always, a joy to read.
I started reading this volume again after some months and I enjoyed it a lot! Even if the story is kind of slow, it realistically shows how life can be for people. Having to move away for work, and be apart from each other. Nobuko is moving away and Hiroki is staying in Hiroshima. They took a graduation trip and spent a lot of quality time together, it was really cute seeing them get closer to each other and express their feelings more freely.
Aww...I loved this volume. Their graduation trip was so cute. I don't know if I've mentioned it before in my reviews...but I LOVE the artwork in this series and this volume has some of the most beautiful panels in it. The scene from the cover was a particular favorite. Also...love to see their relationship progressing...even if it is the slowest burn ever. Very sweet.
This installation was so cute. I enjoyed watching Nobuko and Hiroki grow emotionally close together even as they physically have to part. Such a sweet and realistic take on a growing relationship. And so many communication green flags.
This was the best! I loved their trip and all the sights they went to see. The scene with the bridal panel was so beautiful. I love that it's on the cover so we can see the full color version!
There might be more volumes that haven't been released in English yet but I think I'll stop here. Its a sweet and healthy romance slice of life story. Overall pretty boring, but I'm realizing that this type of slice of life just isn't my jam. No drama at all, nothing out of the ordinary, just one very shy and self-conscious lady trying to come out of her shell and do the best she can with love and life.
