William resides in the Tampa Bay area of Florida with his wife Susan, a retired music and elementary school teacher. Having found each other after both were widowed, they enjoy an active life together along with their black & white cats, Mitzy, and Mollie.

William's first book, an independently published memoir titled: FINDING HEAVEN IN THE DARK, became a multiple Award Winner in 2017! During the beginnings of the 2020 Coronavirus Pandemic, Mr. Ingram was stricken with Post Herpetic Neuralgia, the painful and debilitating aftermath that followed an attack of SHINGLES in his left eye! Following months of PAIN MANAGEMENT THERAPY, he discovered Low Content Publishing as a way to direct his creative energy.
