Heirs of All Hallows’ #2

Filthy Jealous Heir: Part Two

Rate this book
He’s filthy. He’s jealous… and he’s determined to make her his.

Reese Whitfield-Brown has been lied to his entire life. But he’s also been lying to himself.

What started as a game to ruin Olivia’s reputation quickly turned into obsession. And now he needs her in a way he doesn’t understand.

Kind. Compassionate. Strong. She sees past all his bullshit.

Reese wants her even though he knows he shouldn’t. Because he can’t be what Olivia needs and when she discovers his true reason for getting close to her, she’ll never look at him the same again.

But Olivia is determined to break down Reese’s defenses and be there for him no matter what.

Because some people deserve a second chance.

Especially, the boy she loves … even when she shouldn’t.

Filthy Jealous Heir: part two is a dark high school bully romance. If possessive, rugby playing alphaholes aren't your thing, you probably won't like this book! It should be read after part one.

One of my favorite things about bully romances is watching the villain fall to his knees. We all know it’ll come eventually (it’s a romance after all) but everything that leads up to it makes it so much more tantalizing! Filthy Jealous Heir: Part Two is the conclusion to Olivia and Reese’s story. So be sure to read Filthy Jealous Heir part 1 before picking this one up. It’s an enemies-to-lovers bully romance with spice, drama, and unpredictable twists! And it doesn’t end here. More of the heirs will be getting their own stories and I am beyond excited to read them! I don’t want to say much about this one because it could spoil the books if you haven’t read them, but I do recommend them to fans of this genre. It’s a good one!

Filthy Jealous Heir pt. 2 is the continuation of Reese and Olivia's story. IT WAS INCREDIBLE!! Not only did I binge read the first one yesterday, I binge read this as soon as I bought it this evening! This was a semi-fast paced book and it just got done in a matter of hours (maybe because I looove this series). So much steam, angst, drama, twists and turns! Definitely anticipating Oakley and Tally's story!!!

Story: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5
Narration: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5
Overall: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5

Story: Again, Binge-listened to this one as well and It was so fun revisiting Reese and Olivia's story. Still agree with the previous statement!

Narration: I LOVED THESE NARRATORS!! They brought so much emotion and was just all around incredible. They not only did they bring our main characters to life, but also the side characters as well. I swear, I was listening to several different people. Now that's an insane amount of talent! I highly enjoyed this audiobook and hope to listen these narrators in the future!!

3.5 stars! Filthy Jealous Heir part 2! This picks up right where the first book ends, so definitely not to be read as a stand-alone. This is part two in a dark, bully romance. It delivers on allll the messy, angsty, possessive, romance vibes! Along with new adult, brother’s ex-best friend, and step-siblings! 👀

We find out more in this one about Reese and what has lead him to act the way he has been in the past book. His and Olivia’s somewhat relationship is kept a secret so there is lots of hiding from everyone else, but they do get found out in this one and have to figure things out! There is an added layer of drama with Reese in an arranged betrothal with someone else. What started off as Reese trying to ruin Olivia’s reputation, quickly leads to him becoming obsessive and possessive. I liked that she is just as much into him, gives as good as she gets, and is possessive too! We do get rugby time in this one more, which was fun as well.

You definitely need to be in the mood for a bully romance and all the unhinged behavior, but it was entertaining and the audio really made a difference! I did want a bit more grovel and at the same time for these two to just get together and stay together already! 😅 The side characters in this part were especially entertaining, I’m sure they get books next!

This is a duet narration and that worked so well for this story because of the back and forth between Reese and Olivia! Thank you so much to Forever and Always PR for the audio tour, all thoughts in this review are my own.

Second Chances

This book needs a trigger warning of the attempted sex3al assault that occurs in Chapter 1 after the FMC was kidnapped.

Olivia and Reese are still at odds with one another. No matter how much Reese wants to hate Olivia he can't stop wanting her.

Reese has been lied to his entire life. He is angry and he's out for revenge and the unlucky person who he's picked to suffer his angst is Olivia.

Olivia knows that Reese is lashing out trying to hurt her but she doesn't understand why he h8tes her so much. One minute Reese is all over her and the next minute he's shutting her out and being cruel towards her but Olivia is willing to fight for Reese until he betrays her……or do she believes.

Reese is devastated when family drama and secrets are revealed and he realizes that Olivia is not responsible for the betrayal he has blamed her for but before he can make things right, someone who's jealous of his and Olivia's relationship releases some incriminating photos of Olivia from Reese's email account making it look as if Reese is trying to destroy her.

Now that Reese has come to terms with the fact that he loves Olivia; he has to work overtime to clear his name as well as prove to Olivia that he truly repents for all the pain he has caused her. With so much damage done, will Olivia find it in her heart to forgive Reese? More importantly can Reese redeem his status amongst the other Heirs and mend his relationship with the guys who once called him brother?

Good, quite spicy, loved the explosive dynamics between the main characters. The story lost its flair as everything tied up smoothly midway in the book. The resolving of the typical misreading of circumstances, the cause of all Reese’s anger, was expected and predictable even if enjoyable to read. Great pace in first person, dual points of view. One of the appealing elements of this book was the side characters — Abigail, Tally, and the Heirs, the fun camaraderie among them, even the mean girl. I would love to read her redemption story as well as Abigail’s and Tally’s. Overall, fun read, just a bit predictable as it wasn’t as fresh or inventive a story.

Reese and Olivia’s story continues, and the angst is far from over. Reese is determined to hold Olivia responsible for everything that has transpired and that means making things as difficult as he can for her. When he realizes that all is not as it seems he must make peace with all that has happened and fight for a second chance.

Olivia has deep feelings for Reese but she never knows if she is going to encounter the man who pulls her close or the man who pushes her away. She has tried to be patient and understanding with him but with every twist she wonders if she ever really knew him at all.

Suspense that keeps you on edge and the secrets that keep coming as Reese tries to show Olivia that his actions aren’t who he truly is.

Great Follow Up

This is Reese and Olivia’s story which is continued from Filthy Jealous Heir Part One and it is filled with just as much steam and drama that I couldn’t stop turning the pages. If you like your bully romance books that are dark and dirty this two-part series is just up your alley.

Heirs of All Hollow 1&2. Olivia and Reese. Spoiler alert.

I finally read Olivia and Reese's story. I have been starting the books a few times without finishing. I find the author’s writing tedious and dull. The building of the storyline is so slow, and even after the unfolding of the plot and events, the author does not give a clear disclosure or good reasons for the events. Reese’s anger at Olivia is a silly reason, and he should be angry at his parents. I was not particularly fond of Reese’s mother. The author described the mother as a hideous parent. She is all wrong almost evil in her reasoning. How can she want a loveless marriage for her son, it was so wrong. It seemed to me she was unhappy about Reese finding a way I rescind the marriage contract. As a lawyer, she should have known better it is illegal to sell their children even if it does not involve money. I liked Olivia's dad Christian; he had it right about parenting. I did not want them as a couple meaning Christian and Reese’s mother.

I'm not going to bother with a summary, as this is 1: a review of parts one and two, and 2: most of the reviews have a summary so I don't need to add another one. I don't *think* there are any spoilers, and if there are, I apologise in advance.

I enjoyed reading this series. I read a lot of RH/Bully-to-lover/Academy trope books, and while I very seldom DNF a series (it does happen), I don't always exactly enjoy the books. I went into this one with low expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised.

Pros.

1: I don't mind the heroine. Usually I can't stand the female lead. I find them annoying, whiny, arrogant (I hate MCs that actually say they are bad-ass) and usually just blah. Olivia as a MC was actually not horrible. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't amazingly impressed, but I didn't actually hate her. And that's saying a lot. She's got a good side, she doesn't whine too much, and she's persistent/determined without being super annoying about it. I think the biggest turnoff was her being pretty damn spoiled and pampered, but I can understand the context. Of course she would be.

2: I liked Reese. I usually like the male characters over the female, and this is no exception. He definitely had a more turbulent background than Olivia, and his reactions, while seeming sometimes over-the-top, were probably more accurate than not. Most teenagers have over-the-top reactions to things so it didn't bother me too much. He could be a bit of an ass, but that's what makes it appealing in a story, even if it's a bit cliche'.

3: The story moved along at a decent pace. Sometimes it dragged, but most books seem to have a section like that. The important part is how LONG the drag goes. In this case, the drag didn't... drag.

4: The side characters were actually interesting. Normally it seems like the side characters are just there as fillers. It's very obvious some of the characters are being set up in the background to have their own stories, and that makes it all the more interesting. Particularly the other Heirs, and of course, I kind of liked them all. I think the most annoying side character was Olivia's friend Charli, and she didn't have a big role so I could tolerate it. I even enjoyed the interaction with/between the parents, whereas normally they fall flat.

5. The way the Heirs talk to each other. I found it hilarious the way they treated each other, the words they used (LOTS of swearing, but then, what would you expect from rich, horny, teenage boys who are like brothers?). I even laughed out loud once or twice, which rarely happens. The author did a good job at the connection between the four Heirs.

Cons

1. Mostly predictable and trope-y. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, as most of these kinds of books have a similar 'formula'. I went into this knowing it was probably a massive cliche', so it wasn't a major con. I apparently like this kind of formula. Still, not much original and the major predictability is more of a con than a pro.

2. Editing. Thankfully this book isn't chalk full of errors, typos, weird formatting, etc. I'm not really sure why these kinds of books have so many errors; I'm guessing lack of editors for self-published/indie published books. There were a few typos, which I can ignore; even mass produced books have them. There were a few sentences with the format of emphasizing the words with a period. Just. Like. This. Not sure why these kinds of books do this (a lot), but it's a little annoying if it's overdone (it usually is). There were periods where there should have been commas, and there were commas where there should have been semi-colons. Another common theme.

3. The nickname 'sweet cheeks' annoyed me. Probably just one of my weird quirks, because nicknames can be cute. I just didn't care for this one used over and over again.

4. The sex scenes. Now this isn't a complete con, but since there is some negative to me, I stuck it in this category. While I don't mind a good sex scene, if it goes on too long, I just skim and look for any dialogue that's worth reading in case I miss anything....(oh yes, oh god, oh (name), f*ck me doesn't count as worth reading). Some of the scenes were a bit too lengthy for me, but it isn't the end of the world, thus it isn't a huge con.

To wrap up this 'too lengthy' review, I enjoyed these two books, and I enjoyed the HEA. After reading, I couldn't wait to read the next two books in the series. So even though Heirs of All Hallows' has some flaws, it's still worth reading if you enjoy this kind of book.

The conclusion of Reece and Olivia’s story was as addictively unputdownable as the introduction to the Filthy Jealous Heirs world. Probably even more after getting to see Reece the Grade A alpha-hole brought to his knees, and the little hints of what’s in store for the remaining Heirs added fuel to my burning need for their stories. Dare turned me into an heir-chaser the moment this world fell into my hands.

I love the way this duo fleshes out the depth of their characters while also keeping the "hole" part intact. I love dark bully romance for a reason, and there’s nothing better than seeing those alpha-holes brought to their knees. The thing is, while I want them to grovel and see the couple work on a less toxic relationship, I don’t want them to end up as completely different people than when the story began.

Dare does an amazing job at balancing all of the elements that allow you to "forgive" the misdeeds of the behavior and want nothing more than for him to get the girl, well after he does some groveling. I’m not sure I’ve ever read a more epic grovel than Reece’s, and he still kept his character true to the alpha-hole we fell for to begin with.

The second part of Olivia and Reece’s story was filled with a different kind of intensity; it was far beyond the physical connection that fueled their beginning. They were never meant to be more than that, and yet it evolved into a soul-deep connection that made them each whole.

There were more secrets unveiled, twists and turns, and hints of what’s to come. Punches were thrown, and words were said, but it feels like right alongside Reece and Olivia’s road to happily ever after that the Heirs were refortifying the bond between them. They are now the unified force of nature they were meant to be.

Filthy Jealous Heir Part 2 was an exquisitely delicious conclusion to Reece and Olivia’s story. An impossible to put down blend of explosive chemistry, a Grade A alpha-hole, a sassy heroine, twists and turns, and searing levels of steam. I can’t wait to spend more time wrapped up in the pages of the Heirs of All Hallows’ world. I’ve got a feeling Reece was only a taste of the alpha-holeness the Heirs have to offer.

Part two of the Filthy Jelaous Heir duet by Caitlyn Dare. This continues Reese and Olivia’s story straight on from the cliffhanger at the end of part one. This is a brother’s best friend, enemies to lovers, bully romance. This is packed full of family drama, secrets and lies, revenge and forbidden love.

There is a dramatic start to the story which affects all of them and leaves Reese feeling very guilty. He is still determined for revenge but his feelings for Olivia are getting in the way. He knows no-one will accept them being together especially when he will soon be her step brother. Reese is still struggling with his father’s betrayal which meant he had to return home and it escalates when more family lies are revealed. Olivia knows they have no future together especially with his mother’s plans for him, but she can’t help falling for Reese. She is more sassy this time, starts to stand up for herself and becomes as sneaky as him.

It is a really thin line between love and hate and the lines do get blurred very quickly. They have both been through pain and heartache with the lies and games played. Does she mean anything to him or is it still a game to him? When their relationship and what Reese has done is exposed, he has to fight for her. Will she ever forgive and forget all he has put her through? Will she let him fix his mistakes? It is difficult for her as she gets to see a side of him no-one else does. I did enjoy seeing him grovel and show he has a vulnerable side to his character. Can he repair the all damage he has done with not only Olivia but also his relationship with Oak and the other Heirs.

Their chemistry is undeniable but the push and pull between them does get a bit repetitive. As the secrets are revealed we see how poor Reese has been lied to his whole life but did it justify his actions? We find out the reason behind all Reese’s anger and bitterness towards Olivia but I felt a bit let down as I was expecting more.

The secondary characters certainly added to the story and I really liked Abigail and Tally, and how they become unlikely friends with Olivia. It was great when they teamed up together and at times they were so funny. I have an inkling who they might end up with especially with all the banter between Tally and Oak so it will be interesting which Heir will fall next.

“What are we doing Reese?” I ask, my voice an uncertain whisper.
“Honestly, I don’t know.” He toys with the ends of my hair, his gaze dropping to my mouth. “But I’m not sure I can stop.”

Filthy Jealous Heir Part Two is the conclusion to Reese and Olivia’s story. This Duet is the first in the Heirs Of All Hallows’ Series. There is a Prequel available Wicked Heinous Heirs. It is a quick introduction to the Heirs. It is not necessary to follow Filthy Jealous Heir, it's just a quick tease. The Heirs are beloved, worshiped, idolized, and have their futures completely mapped out, some including arranged marriages. They are the leaders of tomorrow and they revel in the debauchery of it all while they can. Reese feels his heritage is a noose around his neck. He is angry, bitter, and fueled by the idea of revenge. Their game of cat and mouse has ensnared Olivia and made her a prime target for others' revenge plots. An attack on one Heir is an attack on all. And, the truth is these girls are ripe to steal the Heir’s crowns and their hearts and run All Hallows. These boys are about to eat a lot of crow. Trigger warning- this is an angsty read- so if you have triggers this story begins with one.

Part Two picks up immediately where Part One left us. Olivia has been kidnapped by Dale to put the Heirs, especially Reese, in their places.

But, overcoming Dale’s intentions is just the tip of the complications Reese and Olivia will have to overcome. Because despite how they may feel about one another Reese is promised to another. And, the Heirs have barely begun to forgive him for ghosting them over the summer.

Just as Reese comes clean to Olivia about why he left another one of those complications makes itself known. Leaving Olivia reeling.

Reese is just coming to terms with his feelings and is ready to play the long game…he just needs to get Olivia’s head back in the game. Because girl is standing strong.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

He's filthy. He's jealous...and he's determined to make her his. Reese Whitfield-Brown has been lied to his entire life. But eh's also been lying to himself. This is the second book and the conclusion to the Filthy Jealous Heirs.
This is the rest of Olivia and Reese's story. This book picks up right where the first one left off. Reese is the guy who left town and who is in love with his best friends sister. When he ran off for the summer without telling anyone he really upset a lot of people. Including Olivia and now she just can't stop herself no matter how hard she tires. No matter how horrible he might be to her at times. Then he has to deal with her brother Oakley who is never going to accept them together. Though I think he has known for awhile that something was going on between those two. However the winds of change are blowing and reality is about to slap Reese in the face. He had a plan. He tried to stick to it the best he could but something is happening with him and he knows who is responsible. I don't really want to give away much of this story. I feel like you need to read this book for yourself without me telling you a lot about the story. I loved every single second of this story and I devoured this book.

Filthy Jealous Heir Part Two by Caitlyn Dare has us jumping right back into Reese and Olivia’s story. Picking up from the cliffhanger ending in Filthy Jealous Part One.

The narrative that Caitlyn delivered with Part Two still managed to keep you reading on, but that wasn’t surprising since there was a lot of drama, angst and anticipation behind the ever-growing suspense surrounding the mysteries and secrets that still had yet to be revealed.
Ultimately keeping you on the edge of your seat in waiting for waiting to see what will occur as well as everything to be brought to light once and for all.

It was no surprise that Olivia and Reese’s relationship continue to have you riding upon a rocky terrain that was filled with never ending ups and downs. Especially given their continuous back and forth that still had them constantly pushing and pulling.
However that didn’t stop them from giving in and bringing the spicy factor.
Or explosions from what was divulged, making you wonder what final path it will lead them down.

And while the story did manage to deliver a good narrative that was well rounded from the development of all that needed to be said and done. Including more peeks into the side characters like Abigail, Tally, Elliot and Oak, who hopefully will be getting their own books.
Unfortunately that didn’t stop the book from falling short for me.
It just seemed the storyline was lost at times, since certain key elements that were the backbone of the story weren’t mentioned as if they were forgotten about. Only to be brought back in later than expected as if an afterthought.
Also the revelations made weren’t really explosive or even shocking IMO, instead it just seemed underwhelming.

All in all, Filthy Jealous Part Two by Caitlyn Dare was a good read. And still has me excited for more books to come from Heirs of All Hallows series.

Caitlyn Dare always knows how to start a book out with an explosive beginning.
Filthy Jealous Heir: Part Two starts off where the fist book ended and you are thrown into quite an interesting scene that'll have you hooked from the very first page.

Now we know that Reese and Olivia love to hate each other. The only problem is that they have this undeniable connection and lust for one another they can't escape. So what happens when to their relationship when all that hate fizzles out?

This book will take you on a wild ride of love, lust, friendship, family, and secrets so deep they can tear all that apart. Questions you had from the beginning will be answered and unlikely friendships will blossom.

I absolutely loved how Olivia finally found her group outside of the Heirs, where she felt like she never really belonged. The girl power was strong!

It was also nice to see Reese thrown off his high horse for once. Low and vulnerable Reese was my favorite version of him. I loved seeing his softer, sweeter side. Now, don't go getting confused because even at his lowest he was still his major a-hole self we all know and love, nobody can knock him down that low ;).

My only three star reasoning is due to the fact that I got over the back and forth between Reese and Oliva pretty quickly in this book, we already had all that angst and hatred in book one. I would have loved to have seen them resolve their issues a little faster and connected more organically in this book. I still really enjoyed their story and cannot wait for more of this world to come! I'm especially curious about Elliot and cannot wait to hear more about him.

thank you to Forever and Always PR and the authors for providing me with the audios for the first three parts of the Heir's of All Hallow's series in exchange for an honest review 🖤

the series starts with wicked heinous heirs, a short novella that sets the scene for our characters. everything seems to be going great for reese, he's being initiated into the group that rules over the school and can have any girl he wants. but, reese is out for revenge against olivia his best friends twin sister. he leaves her wanting more in the woods outside the party and then vanishes. the series picks up at the end of summer when reese returns to town. he and his mom now live in the one place he hates most: olivia's house. ruining olivia is all the matters to him and nothing can stop him from ruining her, not even their forbidden hookups.

y'all i ate this up!!! i started the novella on a friday and had finished the series by sunday night. i was obsessed from the start because bully vibes were just right to me. as the duet continued i found myself really invested in not only the sizzling, hate-hookups, but reese's story. i just had to know what happened to make him want revenge so badly. i also loved the back and forth between reese and olivia because she gave what she got so well and wasn't afraid to leave him wanting more. overall, this was a fun bully romance that i would definitely recommend!!!

stella hunter and james joseph did a stellar job on this audio and the duet narration made it so immersive from the start!!

So we are picking up right where we left off with Olivia and Reese. But this story goes in a much different direction that I thought it would. Luckily for readers Caitlyn is the rockstar author that wrote this book and not me 😂

When we left book one, secrets were starting to come out but not everything has been disclosed. “Spoiler” there are more secrets. And it’s ALL coming out. But one reason I’ve read every book by this author is because of her ability to tie it all together in a pretty little bow. However, getting there isn’t going to be easy. Reese is going to learn some things, make some more mistakes, and then try to find his way back to Olivia. This is the conclusion of Reese and Olivia, so we are blessed with a HEA. I absolutely love their connection and the sparks between them. Spice level was FIRE 🥵

I love the background characters. The Heirs (Elliot, Theo, and Oak), Abigail, and Tally all are going to play big parts I believe. The conclusion of the epilogue gives me hope that this will be similar to her Savage Falls/Red Ridge series where they all get stories! I feel like there is something brewing between Oak and Tally. And also Elliot and Abigail. And that makes me sooo excited. The banter that goes between all of them just makes this story so much more fun. And I’m here for it!

🚨 Trigger Warnings 🚨
This book isn’t heavy with triggers but there are some present. Please know what you’re reading before you start.

Happy Reading Ya’ll 🖤

duet review

I was so excited when this series was announced cause Caitlyn Dare is amazing with dark bully romance and then toss in some secret society and you know it’s going to be good.

This duet surrounds Reece who has returned from staying with his dad for a couple months. Reece had big plans of how his life was going to be moving forward with his best friends but when the unimaginable happens, he is left destroyed and leaves to pick up the pieces.

When he returns it’s under the pretence that he wants to make amends when all he wants to do is seek revenge to those who hurt him.

His plans complicated when he returns home to find out that his mother moved in with her boyfriend and their children. Oakley who was Reece’s best friend and his twin sister, Olivia.

Reece has plans for Olivia and we are quickly tossed into their journey. Their story moves at a steady pace and when questions get answered, a couple more pop out. The cliff hanger and wait between book 1 and 2 was brutal but worth the wait.

I couldn’t wait to see how they continued and honestly how Reece was going to make up for what ends up happening (I’m always a fan of a good grovel). I love how strong Olivia is, especially since she goes up against Reece quite often. She isn’t afraid to speak up for herself or demand the respect that is owed to her.

I can’t wait to continue this journey and keep dive into Oakleys story.

Please make sure to read all TW before starting this duet.

Filthy Jealous Heir part two is book two in the series Heirs of All Hallows. This is a brothers best friend, enemies to lovers, bully romance and is the conclusion to Reese Whitfield-Brown and Olivia Beckworth's story.

Reese continues to be a contradiciton and a spiteful, selfish, bitter, jerk. But we do see his vulnerable side and the emotional damage his parents caused him. We also see his protective and caring side and then his redemption with Olivia.

Olivia is witty and full of sass. She's no pushover and she's no quitter. Even after all Reese's B.S. she still cared and tried to help him. We see many sides to Olivia; a friend, a fighter, a victim, and so much more.

Overall, I thought the story was just OK, like book. It was angsty, easy to read, and entertaining, but the plot lacked originality. This was basically a mash up of Dare's Gravestone Stone Elite Series and their Rebels of Sterling Prep Series, meaning we've seen this all before. The big reveal of Olivia's betrayal was anticlimactic. It wasn't anything jaw dropping and basically just some stupidity Reese concocted in his brusied egotistical brain. I must say Reese and Olivia did have some extra spicy scenes, I will never think of Yoga the same again!

“I know you feel it too.”

I’m still reveling in a riveting romance I didn’t want to end. Filthy Jealous Heir is a deliciously dark, dominantly dirty, and heart-hitting tale that wholly owned me. Hook, line, and sinker. I felt every thrill, twist and turn in this heart-racing roller coaster of a romance that teeters between love and hate; I felt everything!

In this brother’s best friend meets almost stepbrother saga, one of the four heirs is finally claimed in the messiest of love stories. Reese is the possessive, alpha-hole who is drowning in darkness while beautiful and bold Olivia is his light. Together, they are a fire that burns, lighting the darkness, as they make each other better. I reveled in the growth and evolution of this hero and heroine. Olivia and Reese’s love story is deeply intimate and intense, and I couldn’t help but become part of their world.

Filthy Jealous explodes with fire and feels. This intoxicating, toe-curling, heart-racing romance left me melting for more. The twists and turns … the hot and cold … the heady chemistry … oh my was I undone! Holy high! This tale owned every ounce of my pleasure. I was wholeheartedly obsessed with Filthy Jealous Heir, and can’t wait for more of this series!

REVIEW: This book was absolutely amazing. I just learned about this author with an ARC I was offered by @foreverandalwayspr And let me tell you I am so excited that it immediately captured my attention, the plot and then the cliffhanger in this first book and honestly the narration and this is top notch as someone who reads books through audio 98% of the time I can say I am very picky about my narrators and how it’s narrated, they literally knocked it out of the park with the banter back-and-forth each narrator, reading their lines when they’re supposed to talking back-and-forth to each other there’s a few different characters in this book and the narrators got each and everyone of the characters on point. I don’t do my ratings lightly because when I find a book that is rated five stars or a 10 in my “rating”, it’s important to know that those books are 10 and I can fully say that this book is a 10
I will be reading the rest of the heir books because I’m already to invested! The narration of this book has definitely made it within my top five of favorite books to be narrated

i’m also a big fan of when the authors interact with their followers or readers I did message Caitlyn so far I have not heard back, but that’s not going to deter me from not reading her books just an opinion of mine within the community 🫶🏼

Fun fun fun! Part 2 was pretty good as well! 3.5 stars!

Book 1 ended on a cliff hanger so spoilers ahead of you haven’t read it. Possible spoilers for this book too actually!
We left off with Olivia disappearing after the Rugby match and nobody being able to get in touch with her. Come to find out that doüche canoe Dale and friend kidnapped her on her way to her car. She was SA but NOT rape thank goodness. It messes with her head a bit but she seems to bounce right back pretty quickly actually so not sure if that was good or bad?? Her and Reese keep going back and forth and we finally find out what all the hoopla was about…nothing major, at all. I was like, that’s it?! Oh my..
This one had WAY more spice so I loved that of course and tons of comic relief once our H &h got together, all I can say is poor twin brother. The story wraps being set up for sure for another one of the heirs Oak & Talley and MAYBE for Elliott and Abigail I hope? Fingers crossed? I felt like things were wrapped up but almost too quickly with little fanfare.
All in all, still a fun read and I’ll definitely read more by these authors. If they could pay a little more attention to detail and flesh out the situations more they can be great!!

Filthy Jealous Heir: Part Two is the conclusion of Reese and Olivia’s story.
This book picks up right where part one left off and my goodness, what a ride this was. Reese has been lied to his entire life by everyone he loves and the person he is taking it out on, Olivia, is the one person who would never hurt or betray him, yet he has it in his head that she is as bad if not worse than everyone else.
Olivia knows Reese is trying to hurt her, but she can’t figure out why he went from being a nice guy who seemed to like her to hating her. He blows hot and cold with her, one minute he’s throwing her on the bed and tearing her clothes off and the next he’s shutting her out and being vile, but Olivia is willing to keep fighting for him until he ‘betrays’ her…or so it seems.
Reese must come to terms with the feelings he has for Liv, it takes him a while to figure out he loves her, he has a lot of repenting to do and must work overtime to clear his name and prove how sorry he is for the damage he has caused. Will Olivia be able to forgive Reese his wrong doings and will he be able to redeem himself and mend his relationship with the Heirs who once considered him a brother?
James Jospeh and Stella Hunter bring Reese and Oliva’s story to a close and sweet baby Jesus, they couldn’t have done a better job. I loved every minute of the push and pull and the emotion they both brought was incredible.
I loved this conclusion to what has been an excellent dark new adult, brother ex-best friend, step siblings bully romance. It was full of angst, possessive, obsessive alpha vibes, plenty of spice and redemption. This series was my very first by Caitlyn Dare and it certainly won’t be my last, I devoured these audiobooks!

Filthy Jealous Heir: Part Two was fantastic; I absolutely devoured the rest of Reese and Liv's story. Caitlyn does such an amazing job at creating their morally grey characters. Reese is such a complete dïčkwâd, but beneath it all he's just a broken boy who's fallen head over heels for a girl.

I really enjoyed the entire storyline in this book. We get some mystery, some revenge, some séxÿ degradation and some top notch groveling. While the first book I felt like Reese's reason for hating Liv was a reach, when we find out the whole picture I was able to put myself in his shoes and understand where all his hate for her came from. I felt so bad for him with how he discovered his parents dishonesty... but I really liked how Christian handled the aftermath, especially with Reese. I also really loved Darcie getting her dues and watching Liv get closer with the girls.

The entire book I was starting to guess who our next couple would be and who the other future couples would be and I'm really excited that I was right on the next one. I'm already bouncing in my seat, the next chapter is going to be so much fun.

Fast paced, with great emotional ups and downs from both Olivia and Reese.

There is a lot to unpack in this book, but it never wavered in the intensity. While Olivia and Reese's HEA was tied up, The Heirs still have more story to tell and I loved getting to know just a bit more about some of the secondary characters who will return in more books.

While Olivia and Reese circle around their feelings and what that could mean for a future, it also meant that Reese had to fess up to everything, but I loved how the story played out for Reese to make amends, which not only included Olivia, but also his friends.

Also, about that future, it involved part of this fantastic girl crew that Olivia surrounded herself with. One being Reese’s fiancé, Abigail, and another included a fierce girl that grates on every nerve of Olivia’s twin brother, Oakley. Everything about their whole dynamic is delicious. This girl group, aside from the relationship that brewed between Reese and Olivia, totally made the book worth reading.

Enemies to lovers is one of my favorite genres. Simply because those tiny little threads of hate twist and weave into something much deeper. I especially like it when the H is a bully to the h. There is something about the guy being a total dick as he falls butt over elbow in love with the girl. Maybe that makes me a little twisted LOL but this story is so much fun. It’s deep and tangled and twisted but it’s so much fun. I literally couldn’t put it down. Not even for a second.
It was a long ride but dang was it worth that ride.
I really hope that Oak and Tally get together in one of these books. Also I’m digging the vibe I got from Abi and Elliot.
Part two is just as intense as part one, keeping readers in a constant state of roller coaster madness. It’s up, it’s down, it’s all around. Reese had a bit of a redemption arc but still stayed true to who he was. Olivia was strong willed and never willing to bend on what she thought or wanted. The heirs and the side characters were perfectly spun leaving us wanting more. I can’t wait to see what’s next!
