What a fun story!

It immediately took me right back to being a middle school kid glued to my computer screen and chatting on AIM and AOL chat rooms, which looking back I definitely should not have been in those haha. Clay does such a great job of putting you right back there and filling your heart with nostalgia with all of the late 90s/early 2000s references.

I was hooked and wanting to know what exactly happened to Jay.Man223 after he said those chilling letters, BRB.

I could honestly see a sequel to this, I would love to know what happens to the two of them in their later years, if they reconnect, if there are other penpals!

Short story with a punch

I found this short story intriguing, funny and full of nostalgia. As someone who grew up in the 90s/2000s. I could clearly picture the scene and all that happened very easily. If you are looking for a quick and fun read I would give this a try.

Cute, short read.

When Jayman223 has to step away from the computer for a bit, an interesting mystery emerges...

This has humor, nostalgia, and a surprising bit of political intrigue; what more could you ask for?
