4 Star Review of Binding Ties by Zoey Drake Zoey Drake is a new author to me and I am surprised that I have not come across her books before. Binding Ties was an entertaining read that was romantic and at times emotional. Annagayle (Anna) and Julian have history and to make a future together they will both need to come to terms with the past first. Julian has finally returned home after 6 years on the world Indy Car Circuit after the death of his father. What will happen when Julian learns the secret that Anna has been keeping from him. Will he be able to forgive her ? The chemistry that once sizzled between them is just as intense as it once was but can they re build the trust between them? Binding Ties is a story of love, and forgiveness, it is steamy and emotional and ticked a number of boxes for me. It is obvious that these two still have strong feelings for one another but is it enough to overcome the past? One click and find out.
I’ve said it before but I love this series as it’s introducing me to bee authors that I wouldn’t necessarily have read before.
The book is based in Silverbell Shore and follows Annagayle who has been raising her son for the last 5 years by herself (with the support of her parents and his grandfather). Julian comes back to the Shore after his father passed away.
Will this couple pick up from where they left off 6 years ago? What will happen when Julian realises he has a son he didn’t know about?
Even though the story was full of drama and suspense, I felt like I wanted a bit more. As I did get to the end the book gave me a generally good feeling!
