Samara King is the author of over twenty published novels, novellas, short stories and as well as poetry. Since her days of sneaking romance novels to the back of the library in grade school; romance fiction has been a consistent staple in Samara's world, soon after, the desire to write her own tales unfolded.
In 2011, she was nominated for Poet of the Year by African Americans On The Move Book Club and is a member of The Romance Writers of America and several sister chapters.
Samara has penned sexy tales for a host of publishers and also self-publishes under her imprint, Crave Novellas. Previously she co-hosted SoundNOff, a poetic format for poets and spoken word artists and hosted InCharacterN10, a former showcase for authors on Blogtalkradio.com/samaraking. Samara’s first poetry collection, The Ebony Kryptonite, was well received and was followed with Stripped Barefoot, a sultry mix of poetry and spoken word, which went on to reach #20 in Chicago's Top 40 on Reverbnation in September 2013.

3.5 STARS
This wasn't a bad read for me, it is also my first time reading this author's work.Jaden and Blu had a one night stand in Paris without either one knowing who the other is. Blu recognizes Jaden on a cover of a magazine and discovers immediately who he is, the enemy. Blu thinks Jaden is trying to take over her family's cosmetic company, she is also trying to fight an attraction to him, which isn't working since she keeps remembering their night together.
This book I have to admit started out pretty strong. It started out with Blu storming into Jaden's office to go and confront him about the company and all he wanted to talk about was their one night stand. The book had great characters, secrets and great sex, also with an enemy like Sand who needs frien-Nemeies. The only thing for me why it's a 3.5 stars, was the progress of the book. As a reader for me I don't like when certain areas of a book drags out, it tends to make it goes by slow and the events seem not so interesting. Other than that I had no problems with it and would love to give the author another try.
Don't let my review discourage you from getting the book, it's my opinion and everyone is different. I Still enjoyed the read.
