David V Mammina has a great writing style and I enjoyed how good the historical fiction was going on in this. The characters felt like they belonged in the historical setting and I'm glad I read this. I can't wait to read more from David V Mammina.

A solid, well-paced novella. The author keeps things lean with no unnecessary filler that kept me engaged. The tempo moves quickly, making it an easy read that doesn't overstay its welcome. A straightforward, entertaining adventure that does what it sets out to do.
