From the Buddhism provides us with powerful teachings. Buddhism does not teach how to escape from suffering but it develops and molds a person who can accept and even welcome suffering. It is just as if a lotus never runs out of mud, but drinks and clarifies the muddy water and blooms its special, beautiful flowers. If this book helps many people in need, from young children to adults, to live their life strongly, it would be the greatest joy for me. From the supervising Yamada-osho teaches people who seek salvation in Buddhism "the awareness of hell." Hell is the "here" and "now" that we live in. There can be no other places or times for us to live in. I am standing in Hell, and I have decided to live to the full life’s range of possibilities. The moment we make this decision, we discover ourselves, we who have already lived in “the peaceful world.” This is Buddhism. Shakyamuni Buddha (5th BC) and Kukai (774-835) teach us so. Yamada-osho talk to people in a similar way. This philosophy is one of the key elements throughout the about 1500-year history of Japanese Buddhism. And this teaches all contemporary people living in the Anthropocene (our own geological epoch dating from the commencement of significant human impact on Earth's geology and ecosystems), the age of pandemic, how to live better and how to attain the state of nirvana.
