The world of Rock and Roll shook with the arrival of David Grohl. From his time on drums with Nirvana, to his creation of The Foo Fighters, Grohl has captivated fans across the planet. This comic gives a glimpse of all that is Grohl! It will transport you to him playing with Iggy Pop, his record appearances on Saturday Night Live, his face-off on drums with the Muppet's Animal and so much more. Grohl continues to jam, Grohl continues to inspire, Grohl is Rock. This comic book series has been featured in Entertainment Weekly, Rolling Stone and Billboard Magazines.
A quick list of highlights from Dave Grohl's life for people with short attention spans. It either assumes the reader has a lot of knowledge about Grohl already or doesn't care about context at all.
I'm going to admit I'm not a Foo Fighter fan and think that they are one of those overplayed bands on the radio. But, I decided to give this a try and found it a waste of time. The book is so short it's like reading an article and maybe it did start out as one. The story jumps around from different periods and tried to cram major moments from his life and career into the few pages. There were a few moments of repeated information mainly when discussing his early life at the beginning. This comic was a terrible idea because the author failed to create a good biography in a very, short book.
