Summerdale II is the second novel in the LGBTQ horror series by David Jay Collins. Four gay men. Four addictions. One landlord from Hell. In this sequel, the tenants find themselves under the tightening control of landlord Mr. McGreevy - with far fewer options for escape. Welcome back to Summerdale. Your coffee's ready...
The Summerdale series is intended for mature readers only. Readers are cautioned about the following content in Summerdale violence, graphic sexual situations, sexual assault, paranormal situations, and objectionable language.
David is the author of Gaybash (LGBTQ+ fiction), the Summerdale trilogy (LGBTQ+ horror), and Single & Cooking (LGBTQ+ romance). David lives in Chicago.
Summerdale II revisits 3 characters from Summerdale; Eric, Aaron and Steve, with a closing mention of David in the final paragraph, which can mean only one thing...Mr. McGreevy isn't quite finished with his tenants yet. I enjoyed this installment about as much as I did the first with one exception, I wasn't completely sold on the Steve story-line. I had a difficult time 'swallowing' his particular addiction/fetish. That being said I'm a big fan of this series and am looking forward to Summerdale III (any idea of when??????).
A great follow up to his first book. I enjoyed the continuation of the characters and I look forward to reading their ending in the final book of this series.
