He stole her sister. Now she’ll end his frozen reign.
A wintry collision of A Deal with the Elf King and The Bridge Kingdom, this is the first book in a slow burn, enemies to lovers Fantasy Romance duology.
Three years ago, the Winter King stole Adara’s sister, just as he has stolen so many other girls. After being chosen as the Summer Queen, each has disappeared without a trace. No bride has ever been seen again.
All this time, Adara has never forgiven. Never forgotten. The hatred in her heart has only grown into fury, her resolve tempered to steel.
This Summer, she’s ready to deliver her vengeance. To finally bring her sister’s murderer to justice. No matter what, she’ll ensnare the Winter King’s attention at the Midsummer Ball and be chosen as his Summer Queen.
Then, once behind the Crystal Palace’s glittering walls, she’ll earn the Winter King’s trust and wait for the chance to stab him through the heart.
Ending his frozen reign forever.
A tale spun of love and hate, duty and sacrifice, revenge and forgiveness—Bride of the Winter King is perfect for fans of Elise Kova, Danielle Jensen, and Sylvia Mercedes looking for their next binge-worthy read! A new adult fantasy romance inspired by fairytales such as Beauty and the Beast and The Snow Queen.
Holly Rose has been obsessed with high fantasy since the age of 5, when she first watched The Fellowship of the Ring (her parents raised her right). After realizing she couldn’t become an elf, she decided to start writing about them instead. She also grew up on World of Warcraft and copious amounts of anime.
She was born and bred in Wales, United Kingdom, where she currently spends her days terrorizing teenagers with mathematical equations (and sometimes teaching them useful things). When she gets home from school, her real work with writing about magic and mayhem can begin.
Dear gods... I have to rant about this because this book had so much potential and it felt like it had been thrown away. This book could have done with at least another 100 pages to flush out the story. But then I have to ask myself... was there even a story? Did I learn anything during this book other than the fact Adara is a ridiculously selfish and immature character who learnt nothing during the course of this book.
From the synopsis we gather that she wants to kill the King and given the reasons why, that's fair enough. The more you read this book, the more you see that all is not what it seems. Elaric cannot control the frost as well as he would like, the servants hint at something but can't tell Adara what it is. But rather than her pay attention to what they're not telling her, she says fuck it... I'll still kill him anyway.
Despite her trying once half way through the book, she continues to believe that she can kill him. She tried to seduce him, which seems really easy given how fast paced this book is, and it is clear that Elaric does seem to like her (God knows why). But Adara ignores all the signs that are blatantly obvious and continues as planned. The book ends there... let's face it we knew she wouldn't be able to kill him, that there was something else going on behind the scenes THAT SHE REFUSES TO SEE!
Her inner monologue references it a few times but instead of thinking about it more, she pushes it away so that nothing distracts her from her plan. The entire time, I sat there reading it wanting to scream at her and tell her to open her eyes! She had no character development at all and there was a slight glimmer towards the end (again... if she had pushed her killing mission to one side and let herself see things for what they were). Heaven forbid a character uses their brain!
Poor Elaric! This guy has lived for 300 years, clearly finding a way to break whatever curse has caused this mess and he thinks he finds it with Adara only for her to betray him in the worst way. I don't get where the enemies to lovers comes in, they weren't enemies. She hated him, he liked her and she only appeared to like him so that she could kill him when he least expected it. 🤦🏻♀️
Do not even get me started on the ridiculousness of that scene where Adara kneels outside the dungeons in protest of her father being kept there. Like WTF was that... how did she expect that to work. Also the Winter King flies a Pegasus!? When mythical creatures were never even mentioned and then just like that they were never mentioned again??
This book frustrates me (as you can see) because there was so much that could have been done with this. The worldbuilding was to be desired; firstly I needed a map, secondly, I just needed more... I need to know why Elaric is looking for a Summer Bride. I need to know why there is a curse, what can be done about it. I needed more information. Instead all I got was 250 pages of Adara being the worst assassin in the history of assassins.
I don't think I will be continuing the series, I don't know if I have the patience. The ludicrousness of this book could have been redeemed had we had more information, more character development and a slower pace at which we can explore the world and the actual story. I wanted to like this book, I really did. Sounded right up my alley, but I was deceived. You may think this is Beauty and the Beast but it is not.

This is the fantasy I needed! I absolutely LOVED it.
The first book in the Winterspell series will have you hooked and not wanting to put the book down. At the Midsummer's Ball, Adara is chosen to be the Summer Queen and the bride-to-be of the Winter King. The title immediately caught my attention and the 'opposites attract' with a slow-burn romance had me fully engrossed in the story.
Inspired by Beauty and the Beast and The Snow Queen, the Summer Queen seeks revenge & justice for her sister whom the Winter King has stolen. With revenge driving her into the icy quarters of the winter kingdom, Adara will embrace the cold as long as justice is served, but she doesn't expect that the Winter King might be charming through his icy facade.
Walking the halls of his frozen castle and planning his death, Adara is met with more challenges than she expected but the fire in her heart burns even brighter with determination to end it all. I adored this story and can't recommend it enough. Rose has a way with words that make the reader forget they are reading; the world-building is perfect and the descriptions are so vivid that I sometimes felt the goosebumps on my skin as she described the winter palace. The story ends on a cliffhanger and I'm in desperate need of the second book for answers. I didn't want this book to end and I can assure you, once you enter the Kingdom of Avella you won't want to leave. This is a must-read for fans of The Shadows Between Us or if you enjoy reading fantasy.
First of all, I would like to thank Holly Rose for providing me with an eARC of this book!
In this book, the "Beauty and the Beast" trope comes to the table, with Adara going to the Winter King's Midsummer Ball. An annual ball where Adara's sister was stolen three years ago. With Adara full of hatred in her heart, we dive into a page-turning, wintry world.
Bride of the Winter King surprised me a lot! Since it's a shorter book, I was expecting the story or world-building to be rushed, and I was glad to find that was not the case at all. I really liked Adara as a character, she is a strong-willed and smart heroine who has only one goal in mind, and you are reminded of that often enough to understand her determination. This was an important point for me because even after everything that happens and all the emotions she goes through (which made her even more realistic and human), she remains level-headed and sticks to her convictions.
On the other hand, we have the Winter King. He is the reason I gave this book 4 stars instead of 5! Now, I do not mean that in a bad way... It's just that I felt like I could have used a little more introduction to his story or personality so I could relate to him a little more. I know he's supposed to be mysterious, and that's fine, but to make the ending (which was so good!) feel more powerful, I would have liked to know a bit more about him. I still found him quite amusing and interesting though, so I am betting everything on the sequel to make his character development perfect!
All in all, I really recommend this book if you are into slow-burn, enemies-to-lovers fantasy romance, as it delivers on every aspect of it! Also, the world-building is good and the pacing is fantastic. You are always excited to see what happens next, and there's always something to keep you interested from beginning to end.
I can not wait to read the second and final book and see how the story develops and how Adara and the Winter King grow! Definitely keep an eye out for Bride of the Winter King - Coming out December 6th! ♡
I really enjoyed Bride of the Winter King. I read the whole thing in just two sittings, because I did not want to put down.
Bride of the Winter starts with Adara setting off to the Winter Kings annual ball, now she is 21 she is eligible to be chosen by the King to become his Summer Queen, but every year the chosen brides never make it long enough to be crowned they disappear not long after they have been chosen and no-one knows why or what happens to them. Adara is on a mission to be selected this year for she has a plan to kill the winter king as revenge for choosing her sister three years ago. But first she must be chosen and grow close to him to find the perfect moment to avenge her sister.
This has Beauty and the Beast vibes, with all my favourite troupes added. If you enjoy, enemies to lovers, forced marriage, who did this to you, enemies on his knees with a badass female MC I think you will enjoy this one. Plus with the Winter/Ice theme its a perfect read for this time of year.
It was really easy to read and kept me invested all the way through. I loved the little interactions between Adara and Alaric. There's so many questions I have that I hope get answered in book two, and with that ending I can't wait to get my hands on it.
Thank you so much to Holly Rose for sending me an e-arc copy of this. I have really enjoyed and can't wait to read more.
Adara is kickass for sure and has no qualms when she sets her mind on something. I do feel that this is definitely a more YA read versus NA in the romantic fantasy genre as the spice was minimal with one clean sex scene. I am a bit disappointed though… I feel like Adara’s character is so one-track that she cannot see or listen to her conscience questioning whether her vengeance is really justified. For my characters, I want them to question the hard things, to not take the easy route and just be gung-ho about their plan. I want things to occur to make them recognize that maybe they could be wrong. Adara fails to understand that throughout this whole book - I mean yes she had that inner voice twice but that didn’t stop her or even make her have a deep sense of “wait.. maybe I should dig deeper before I do this”… I do love the cliffhanger and can only hope book 2 is spicier, Elaric more dominating and Adara to really grow and mature.
the way this book made me feel? literally frozen meets beauty and the beast meets the shadows between us. Holly rose is a genius who writes so so beautifully!
What is this cliffhanger??? I must have more, my heart cannot bare not knowing what is next!! This was a beautifully written fantasy novel!! Thank you Holly Rose for allowing me to partake in reading your novel ❤️
I love the characters, the story build, the plot, and even the unknowns to be discovered in the sequel I hope 👀.
Adara, the Bride, the chosen one, the Summer Queen to be, is the daughter of a great Duke in the kingdom. She is a strong and stubborn woman who must set aside feelings to accomplish her vengeance mission. She is unconventional in many ways. She handy with a sword, sleeps with a dagger, and is awful at chess ♟️
The Winter King 👑. He has the magic of frost, though it also seems to have a weakness as everything around him freezes. When it comes to Adara he shows tenderness, compassion, and care.
This is a must read novel!! Coming soon on December 6th, 2022!!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 - 0/5 🔥 - Fantasy - Enemies to lovers - Magic - Winter ❄️ - Revenge - Strong FMC

Bride of the Winter King ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I loved this book so much! Thank you to Holly for sending me an arc. From beginning to end, this book was a magical, romantic adventure that I could not put down. It was the perfect escape into a frozen fantasy land with captivating characters! Adara was a strong, cunning, and likable main character. Her quest for revenge was enthralling, and I couldn't wait to see if she went through with it at the end (no spoilers but....;)). This book is the perfect mix of beauty and the beast, the snow queen, and originality! Holly's writing was gorgeous as always, there are so many simply beautiful scenes. The romance was well developed and enjoyable, and I can't wait to find out more about Elaric and his backstory in the next book! The story was over way too soon, I loved every moment of it. Overall, this book was a magical, adventurous fairytale that I instantly fell in love with and I encourage everyone to go buy it.
I struggled a little with how much my rating was going to be, because for me it was 3.5 stars but that isn't an option so I had to choose between 3 or 4 and 3 was the winner. I liked this book, I really did. But Adara was just too much at times. I understand her thirsty for revenge, she should hate him and be upset and all that, but it's so clear that things are not as they seem, that something else is going on and she just refuses to see it and that pisses me off. She's inteligent and strong but in the matter of her sister she's just plain dumb. I am not saying he's a saint, because he turned those girls to ice, that's more than obvious but it's also obvious that he doesn't enjoy doing it and he only does it because he has too. Adara, instead of trying to understand his reasons and actions or just talking to him, to help him because I think he's cursed or something like that (there's no other option), goes to the other extreme. He treats the people that work for him fairly and good, he's not the monster everyone thinks and she had the perfect opportunity to see that and just listen, but no, she did none of that. It just pisses me off, because I don't think he deserves all that hate, he's just missunderstood and lonely, the ice thing he does or he doesn't have control over it or he just has to do it, and that's it. Her stabbing him after they made sex for the first time, on their wedding night when it's so clear that he is in love with her or at least his feelings are going that way, it's just cold, I swear to God my heart broke when he realized that the woman he married and tried to gave his heart to betrayed him. Nobody deserves that. And now I have to wait for the next book and IT'S KILLING MEEEEEE

2.25 stars ??? I have got no idea how to rate this book because on the one hand, I enjoyed it and read it in one sitting but on the other, it was borderline terrible.
- the plot had SO much potential but we learn nothing during this story. it almost felt like a novella and would have benefited from being 100 or so pages more. we don’t know anything about this curse, or why our female hero’s role in it and I felt sorry for the winter king to be honest. - adara (is that even her name???) was unlikeable. she learns nothing in the book and she is boring. she doesn’t translate off the page at all. I thought her stubbornness came across as childish. - the book is very repetitive and our heroine repeats the same phrase constantly about killing the winter king. - I did think the writing was easy to read and I felt like it ended it enough of a cliffhanger to make me want to read more but this sadly reads like a novella from a fifteen year old novice.
3.5-4 ⭐️ I'm in Holly Rose's street team, so I got an eArc of the book. I enjoyed the book. The story was great, the characters were great and I did enjoy how it was written. But I felt like there was something missing. Maybe the book could have been a little bit longer and a backstory to the winter King.
This was a poorly written fanfic of Beauty and The Beast but we ONE LAME SEX SCENE Poor writing and zero plot, we know nothing about this world, we get NO context at all and you expect me to get inmerse in this story? Sorry but it’s a big no for me and probably the worst book of the year
Spent 90% of the book of nothing really happening or anything being explained. Last 10 pages was probably the most exciting part. Really disappointed cause it started off so well.
First of all, thank you to Holly Rose for the eARC opportunity! However, like always, this review will be completely honest.
I really enjoyed reading this book and feel like it is a great introduction to this series! The fact that it was such a quick and easy read was also something I loved about it. This book is inspired by Beauty and The Beast as well as the fairytale of The Snow Queen, however, the plot and characters were completely unique and amazing to read about.
Adara is such a powerful heroine, with one thing in mind throughout the whole book, vengeance. Her sole aim is to destroy the Winter King and end his frozen reign. I enjoyed seeing her cunning personality throughout the book, but I wanted to see more development on her character which is what I am looking forward to in the following books! My heart hurt for her at times because the position she placed herself in is far from easy. You get to see her struggles throughout the book and you can't help but feel as unsure as she is regarding what is true about life in the Winter Kingdom and what isn't.
Elaric, what can I say besides that I refuse to believe he is a cruel Tyrant, incapable of love and kindness. I refuse to. He has shown such softness and kindness when it comes to others. When it comes to Adara. And you can also see that his reign as the winter king isn't as black and white as Adara believes. Elaric stole my heart and I would like to see more of his character in the future books, because I do not feel like we got to see enough of who he truly is. And that might've been done on purpose to add mystery to his character for the future books, but I feel like it would've helped to build his relationship with Adara more.
Holly Rose did an incredible job of introducing us to this magical world full of twist and turns I am sure we will not see coming.
If you enjoy reading books about heroines who seek revenge against the love interest, this book is for you. If you love reading books that involve somewhat of an enemies to lovers plot (more like building up to it), this book is for you. If you love books with headstrong heroines and a mysterious love interest, THIS BOOK IS FOR YOU! 💙
This book will be out on Dec 6th, 2022 and I hope you give it a shot once it is available!!
⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 / 3.5 stars Thank you to the author for providing me with an eARC of this book in exchange for an honest review!
Bride of the Winter King is a story about Adara, who will become the next bride of the winter king to exact her revenge on the king, who has stoles her sister three years ago, never to be seen again.
“I am a weapon, and weapons do not think. They do not feel. They only strike”
The prose of the story, while it doesn’t seem so unique, did intrigue me and speak to me. I am a sucker for slow burn and enemies-to-lovers hahaha.
The worldbuilding isn’t really big or grand to be honest. We only really see the inside of the ice palace, which is really intriguing since everything is made of ice hahaha. The magic itself is also not really explained or why these things happen, like why a summer queen? Can the king control his powers? (doesn’t seem like it) What happened to the previous brides? (My guess they died and their frozen bodies are in the chamber Adara couldn’t break into) etc. Just a lot of questions that aren’t answered, which easily could’ve been addressed in this part of the story. Especially if you want to connect to the story and its characters more. Right now, it was more like we had to believe everything we were told (the king is bad etc.) but we weren’t really shown anything. I think that was a missed opportunity.
Adara is a female lead who is very much driven by her vengeance to kill the winter king. Sometimes a bit to narrow minded because of it and quite repetitive. I liked her more when she was more open to other possibilities. Elearic is a mysterious king and seems to be constantly brooding haha. I feel like he was very flat as a character and we hardly learned anything about him at all.
The story felt really rushed and short. Yes, it ended on a cliffhanger, but because so much is still unknown it didn’t really give a cliffhanger feel, but more of a “here you have half of the book to read” kind of feel.
Overall, it really is more like enemies-sort of lovers-enemies hahaha. The story felt to short and suddenly cut off, but I did like the Beauty and the Beast vibes it has.
Bride of the Winter King has been one of the most captivating and suspenseful fantasy novels I have read in a while. Holly Rose knows how to keep the reader entertained and wanting more from start to finish. The story starts off at the Winter King’s annual ball he hosts in order to find his Summer Bride. No one knows what happens to the previous brides but some assume they are killed by the King. Among the many girls he has to pick from is Adara. She will do it whatever it takes to be the Summer Bride so she can get revenge for the disappearance of her sister when she was chosen as the Summer Bride three years ago. But first she must make the King choose her and not let her father get in the way of her revenge. Adara is the ideal heroine. She is brave, strong willed, witty when need be, but also kind and caring towards others. Her struggle of listening to her heart or her head puts the reader on edge of what her next move will be. Then there is the Winter King, Elaric, is he just a broody, frozen hearted, unruly king Adara believes him to be or is there more to that frozen heart than just ice. This is everything you could want in an “enemies to lovers” or an “I love you but I have to kill you” novel. This is one story you won’t want to miss!!
Look at his beautiful cover🤩 Amazing just like the book! Review: Bride of the Winter King by @hollyrosebooks A badass stubborn female mc and an Icy king. Inspired from Beauty and the Beast and the Snow Queen, this story is really beautiful. It was so difficult to lay the book down, it pulls you in from page one till the end. The way Adara's thoughts are described is truly amazing the struggle between the heart and the brein. Outstanding. It is written in Adara's point of view only, which sometimes frustrated me because I was so curious about what the Winter King was thinking, but really it gave the Winter King a very mysterious vibe. Making the story better even. Overall it was amazing, it had an open ending, which makes waiting for the second book that much more difficult, but I know it will be worth it. I recommend anyone who loves slow burn enemies to lovers trope to read it!
Let me start by thanking Holly for the ARC. I was so excited to see how she would manage to write this book after Ashes of Aether and Storm of Shadows. Depite liking those two and the incredible imagination she had to write them, I simply loved Bride of the Winter King.
Adara is a stubborn and determined FMC. She's so determined to get her revenge that at some point we're praying for her to fail. I mean, I was. Cause despite her reasons, Holly wrote the Wrinter King so masterly that if the readers pay attention to the details, we'll start seeing that there's so much more about the Summer Brides and what's happening inside the Castle. I LOVED that. I loved that there're so many almost insignificant details that say more than words.
I loved how Adara is the one in charge as everything that happens is cause of her owns choices. I love that we have the Winter King being the villain that doesn't act like one and I'm SO CURIOUS to see what's going to happen next! I've so many questions and theories!
Really liked how easy the worldbuilding is to understand and the pace is also really good.
And the ending?! I hated it as a reader cause I wanted more. But it is also so good! I would've loved to get some hints about what's really happening there but I'm accepting this book as preparation for everything that's going to happen in the next one. And I'm so ready for it!
It's a really good book if you're looking for a quick read with slow burn- enemies to lovers- kill the king vibes.
Thank you so much Holly Rose for giving me an e-arc in exchange for an honest review.
Bride of the Winter King was a superb Beauty and the Beast retelling with a sinister icy edge. I loved being in the icy palace alongside Adara navigating all the mysteries of this frosty domain.
Badass female heroines are my favourite type of protagonists, and that’s exactly what Adara was. Her bravery and determination to seek retribution were admirable and made this book such an entertaining read. I liked the push and pull that she experienced throughout, which made her much more relatable in my eyes. I can’t wait to see how her character progresses in the next one.
The Winter King, on the other hand, wasn’t as much of a joy to read. I understand that he’s meant to be this mysterious figure and closed off, but I was hoping to have learnt more about him in this book; either his history or personal life, but we got nada. I did like the sweet, romantic snippets we were given though, and I hope that we see/learn more of his character in the next one.
I loved the vibes/aesthetics of this book, which enable it to be a perfect book to devour this winter.
This is a slow-burn enemies-to-lovers romance that I highly recommend to all.
From the first page, I was hooked!! Once I started reading, I couldn't stop. I wanted to know more and more! I was rooting for Adara while fearing she would be discovered. Everyone underestimates her. They tell her she'll never be selected, then she'll never succeed in her mission. And you know what, she doesn't care. She's is so focused. She's strong, she's smart and she's determined. I won't lie though, I was intrigued with the Winter King (Elaric). I wanted to know more about him, and while we do get bits and pieces there's still so many questions. Without giving spoilers, I got to the point where I wanted Adara to quit her mission and just give in and fall for him. Full on fantasy, magic, mystery, swords, poison, ballgowns, and so many secrets!! This slow burn story will leave you begging for more!! Just be prepared for that cliffhanger!! It was perfect!
This is the third book I've read by Holly and just like the other ones, the world building is amazing. While reading, you can picture the setting and the characters.
The story pulls you in from page 1, there's no long intro to the story. We follow Adara and the Winter King who holds an annual ball in search of his summer bride. But every year the chosen ones are never heard from again. Three years ago Adara's sister chosen and ever since, Adara has only had one mission: kill the winter king. But to do so, she'll have to be chosen as his bride.
The book comes out in December and if you like the enemies to lover trope and you love Beauty and the Beast, then you'll need to get your hands on a copy.
He stole her sister. Now she’ll end his frozen reign.
This was a fast paced book that I absolutely adored. Adara is looking to avenge her sister that the Winter King unalived three years prior. Her father desperately wants her to not catch his attention because he can’t bear to lose his only remaining daughter.
He has waited 300 years for her. His Summer Queen. The night he announces that she is to be just that, he sneaks into her room to give her a kiss. Something that was supposed to kill her, but only made her stronger.
Enemies to lovers • Beauty and the Beast • Winter themed • Fantasy - what more could you want for the upcoming winter season??
Thank you @hollyrosebooks for this eARC. It was wonderful to read!
A great Beauty and the Beast retelling, but colder ❄️🥰
I loved this retelling and was always noticing similarities between them. The story was unique and short and easy to read in just a few hours. There’s a little bit of spice near the end of the book and a CLIFFY! I liked Adara and empathized with her cause. She felt like a well-thought out character who tried to stick with what she believed in, but would also listen to her heart. And don’t worry, she always tried to have her dagger on her and she knew how to use it. We love a stabby FMC!
The Winter King was just as intriguing! He kept surprising me, but still had enough mystery about him for me to be suspicious.
Overall a wonderful story that I feel is just beginning. Can’t wait for book 2!
In Holly Rose's second series, Adara, a citizen in the kingdom of Avella, attends the Winter King's ball along with many other girls who seek to become his next Summer Queen. Knowing his history of taking many girls in, they all end up dead. Adara seeks to get revenge for the death of her sister. Adara gets the chance to learn more about the Winter King, and once she has him under her theatrics, she finds ways to make her move and end the Winter King's reign.
This is the first book of Holly Rose's that I have read, and since it had this hatred for royalty, I had to start reading this. This story is also like Beauty and the Beast, but with a different plot and approach. Adara continued to try to get her perfect chance to kill the Winter King, but they were always sidetracked. Once she finally got her chance, my heart was beating hard as I kept reading, expecting something to happen but knowing a plot twist was coming. Also, I did not expect the book to be a bit spicy towards the end. I am really interested in the second book now, and I am actually fearing for what is going to happen to Adara.
What an exciting read. This was an interesting book I was drawn from the start. A mysterious ice king, who takes a bride every year, whom the people never see again. Yes I knew this was going to be my cup of tea. Our fl is so blinded by her hatred and quest to get revenge for her sister and guard, that she’s not looking at the full picture. There is so much unsaid and misunderstandings are filling the gaps. I knew something bad was going to ruin these two before they could bloom. I get this beauty n the beast vibe that I’m totally digging. The only reason I didn’t give star it was because of the predictability. I’m off to read book two.
Absolutly loved it 😍. A shame I have to wait for the second book.
Bride of the Winter King is a book about a King who chooses a bride every year. Three years ago Adara’s sister was chosen to be the Summer Queen. And like every year after the bride is chosen no one ever hears of sees her again.
I would highly recomend to read this book. It is an amazing story. I’ve read this story within a day. It is enemies to lovers , and has a Beauty and the Beast vibe. You will be pulled right in from page one. I can not wait for the second book.
Wow. This was a fantastic read. The ending has me clenching my nonexistent pearls. I enjoyed the world building and the characters.
Adara is dedicated, loyal, crafty, and passionate about her end goal. The winter king , Elaric, mysterious, strong, and does his best to make Adara feel comfortable and not forcing her to do thing that cause discomfort.
I’m curious about why he doesn’t have control of his magic and what happened to the previous brides.
This is the third book I’ve read by Holly Rose. I enjoy her writing style. I can’t wait for the next book of the Winterspell duology. I highly recommend this.
